If you had to convert all your wealth to either Bitcoin or gold and keep it there for 10 years, which would you choose? Keep in mind the fact that Bitcoin has only been around for 5 years, and could be fundamentally different in any number of ways in 10 years.
I would most definitely choose Bitcoin. Bitcoin has been gaining more and more popularity as the years goes by, thus making it more valuable. I have to say that I don't really know much about the gold market, that's the primary reason why I chose bitcoin, but regardless, I really believe in the huge potential of bitcoin. I think I will gain a lot of profit out of it.

I think that investing in bitcoin, or gold, it all depends on a situation. well, i feel that there are people outside me, who collect bitcoin just to buy physical gold. well, the person may prefer to see the treasure in terms of physical in comparison with digital. but, I personally prefer bitcoin for now.
Yes, investing into bitcoin is the right pick at present. Gold gives the users the assurance or the trust on the investment. Bitcoin in terms of value keeps on growing to reach great success to the user in real life as well provides path for advancement in technology based growth.

The best and obvious answer is to get both.

Personally I like BTC as it allows me to take advantage of the high volatility.I prefer investing in bitcoin as it has huge long term potential.

If you don not have such wealth, the answer would be in bitcoins since you could do some tiny investment and there are many ways to earn some. But given that you have such wealth and you are choosing either bitcoin or gold to invest in, remember that there are external factors to look at and observe. First is that gold is limited which means if you have invested in it there is a chance that it will increase greatly when the miners mined all of them, which is the question, when could that happen? are you still alive if such event turns out? greatly your ancestor would be rich if it does but the point is you did not enjoyed that profit you invested. Second is bitcoin, seems like it is unlimited and has showed us that it has still the capability to increase an thus a good investment. What if the governments agreed to shut it down and stop applications and store from accepting it as a payment. In the end, it is in your research, observation and target goal to determine which of the two is the best for it.

of course I would still choose bitcoin because even if 5 or 10 years bitcoin will still be in trust with the price continues to rise, while gold is only a small profit to be gained

Neither that nor another, I would choose several investments of euro, dollar, ruble, hryvnia, Swedish krona, bitcoin, gold and platinum. And I would divide all my finances between them, so it is calmer, if something gets ahead, then something else should collapse under the law of market economy.
But that is not really diversifying your savings, by doing that you will be investing mostly in fiat and once the fiat system collapse all of those investments are going to have a value of zero, it is better to buy real estate, gold, bitcoin, precious stones and some fiat.

they both are good source of investment but if we see for the long term perspective gold is less risky because it can be seen in early years that price of gold rises in 10 years very strangely. but if we see bitcoin as long term investment yes its risky but bit coin would go much high according to me but you have to invest in 5 years of interval.
Yes both can be consider as good but i think that if we want to make a quick profit then we must choose bitcoin, because bitcoin is in fact the best option to make more and quick income. While gold is better to saving where one can keep safe their money for a long long time.

I like bitcoin and gold but if I want to make sure everything is fine after 5-10 years, I will choose gold. There will be no more arguments if I sell it and it's be still worthy no matter what happens.

Meaning to that is that, bitcoin can be best viewed for short-term investing and gaining profit in a short period of time while gold can be a long-term investment without thinking twice.
Invest in Gold will help you have a saving money for your life, unlike Bitcoin is just an investment funds and can loss all in someday. To be honest, nowadays, Gold is the best way to keep our money for long term instead of saving my money in bank or anything.

It seems to me that investing money in bitcoin for a long time is also a very good idea. And it will give a lot more profit than investing in gold. So I prefer to invest in gold
You are contradicting yourself. I assume you meant to say that you prefer to invest in Bitcoin based on your post. But as already mentioned, that comes at a substantially increased risk. So it's important to be careful and to keep up with the news.

I prefer to hold bitcoin. Because, if i keep until 1 year ahead. At least i can earn more than 30% (meaning bigger than gold profit). Day to day demand for bitcoin increased when the value now very high compared to last year.

I would choose bitcoin because the advantages in bitcoin more than gold let alone for a long time
A good choice indeed you have made here. Bitcoin is far better than gold. Let’s start with the profit given by both. Bitcoin prices rise up very quickly which means its holders don’t have to wait long for doubling their capital whereas gold changes its value at a very slow speed due to which, no big profits are earned in a short time

It cuts both ways

Bitcoin has been able to offer higher profits but you should keep in mind that these profits come along with insane amount of risk (and yes, I mean exactly that, i.e. insane amount of risk). In other words, as high as Bitcoin has risen today, it may fall as low tomorrow. On the other hand, gold moves slowly (as you said yourself), but it means as well that it can't go down as fast. As to me, Bitcoin and gold are two entirely different assets and instruments serving different purposes and comparing them directly (say, in terms of profits possible) doesn't make a lot of sense
Spot on analysis. Gold is aching more towards a safety asset, of which you want to hold some if you have a high net worth and want to make sure that you will never find yourself in a situation where you are economically in a bad position. Basically it's a hedge against economic collapse, large scale natural disasters, or wars.
Bitcoin on the other hand is more of a wealth building asset, albeit with the aforementioned insane risk levels due to the absurd volatility.

The best choice is 20% in BTC and 80% in gold. It would be stupid just to choose something one Smiley
