If you ask me ?My answer is Gold,Because it's price keep increasing atleast it don't drop like bitcoin it's private money which becomes permanent insurance and a family heritage. Because it lasts as does nothing else. And because a person of means without gold is taking an imprudent risk entrusting all his or her wealth to outside institutions. We can sell gold whenever we want to.

Yeah gold is good for the future, but if you are looking for the short term then bitcoin is the best option, as the bitcoin price keeps on going up and down so if you are into trading then you will earn good money in short time, so for short term, I prefer bitcoin and for long term there is no competition for gold.

Bitcoin price varies it is not stable now bitcoin is at its peak the next moment we see bitcoin falling very badly . However bitcoin investment is a great plan too.As bitcoin is easy to use , easy to spend .I select bitcoin for some reason like more and more people are getting involved in Bitcoin, It't totally anonymous. It's safe and secure source of money. Bitcoin is freedom be the master of your own money.

it has to be gold. growing at rate of 300%. bitcoin is like gambling at moment.
I agree with you for the moment you hold bitcoin is like gambling, because the price is very volatile, you can lose or gain
its different if in the future

I think bitcoin will be like that forever , you know because that is the true nature of bitcoin.
You would not feel gamble when you know what exactly you hold. I bet you have no clue about what actually Bitcoin it is , you just trade and use it.

Sorry, mobile phone confirm my message when i typing. See here:

This could be a good long term portfolio (5 to 10 years) :

10% Bitcoin
5% Other CryptoCurrency (Doge, Lite etc)
10% Gold
5% Other Precious (Silver, Platinum)
10% ETC on Commodities
7% US Stock (DJ and Nasdaq)
3% OTC US Stock (PinkSheet Market)
5% European Stock (No PIGS)
5% PIGS Stock (Portugal - Italy - Greece - Spain)
5% African Stock
5% South east Asian Stock (no China)
5% Russian Stock (MICEX)
5% Commodity Currencies (AUD, CAD)
10% Euro
5% USD
5% Your Domestic Currency

Stock and ETC or ETC must be in your domestic currency.

Take adjustment (switch and stop/take profit)  every 6 month for no more than 10% of each Asset and no more than 7,5% of complessive investment

too much thing invested in, i don't like in, you're actually asking for losing money if you diversify too much especially with the crrent crisis

i would put my money only on 3 investment at max, no more, and bitcoin deserve much more than 10%, because it has the biggest potential, among the new thing on which you cna invest...

On long terms portfolio (5-10 years) you need to diversify a lot. Bet on 3 asset could be good in short time, but in long time is higly risky. I let out China and Bond. Then, with adjustment (switch and stop/take profit) you could be always on market

Only 10% Bitcoin? And what are your other investments?

I am currently invested in Bitcoin and stocks. 60% Bitcoin and 40% stocks. I am planning to increase my Bitcoin holdings with another 10% within 2 months.

bitcoin is the winner
i choose bitcoin, in future bitcoin will be replace dollar
and if all people in the world using bitcoin the price will be up Roll Eyes
This is still a debate, whether bitcoin will replace the dollar, many pros and cons but all of the key is in the adoption of those people
this time the user of bitcoin maybe only about 2-5% of the population of the earth
still far from expectations

Yes bitcoin is not that popular yet as compared to gold, gold is traditional and widely used and has good customer base where bitcoin fall short when it comes to market cap and customer base, bitcoins needs more customers to make it popular on a global level, so at present bitcoin is only popular in the people who are using it.

I am not thinking it about how it's get dividing and all. To see simply bitcoin price and growth is very much higher than gold. Gold is also the investment but bitcoin  replaced it's place in investment and saving.

You cant compare botcoin growth and gold' growth because this two things are dofferent and gold has been here for hundreds of years while bitcoin has only been known for less than 6 years so the growth of gold should be much more higher than bitcoin and gold attracted alot of people already , the majority of the world unlike bitcoin
Bitcoin and gold can be compared when it comes to short term investment. For long term investment my preference is bitcoin as it has crossed the value of gold in a short term but gold value will be raising and decreasing within a specific range.

Gold is divisible, but it's not easy and it's a cost to do divide gold into smaller pieces. A bitcoin is easy divisible up to 8 decimal places.

For the next 5 years, I strongly believe in gold rather than bitcoin. Gold is historically highly valued. Bitcoin is just now being highly speculated. The fast changing world may adapt bitcoin over gold. That may make the bitcoin more worth for a short term. IMO, gold cannot be compared with bitcoin. You're falsely comparing a physical highly valuable item to a non-existing virtual item. In total, I strongly suggest to believe in gold for a few years until bitcoin stays stronger and better.
