Gold is more of a stabilizing element in your investment portfolio. Bitcoin is a much more risky investment, but Bitcoin can also bring a much higher percentage of profit. The main question is the period for which you are ready to invest your money. If you are trading short-haul this is one thing, if you are investing long-term this is much better for you. Whatever happens, both will only grow in the future.
if you choose bitcoin, you must be prepared with a big risk, because the volatility is very high.  the price of btc always changes from time to time, even just because rumors can create waves.  that is why the opportunity for profit is also large because price movements are very dynamic.  While gold prices tend to be stable, price changes are slower than BTC, but have a value that continues to increase, although not as fast as BTC.  for those who like the safe way, gold is more effective.  btw, gold and btc are both profitable, the choice depends on where we can manage risk effectively.

No matter how popular bitcoin has become, it will be very difficult to replace gold. Gold is the most trusted investment tool for many people. a very strong competitor of gold bitcoin. but bitcoin is as valuable as gold. The difference between them is for some reason gold has always been viewed as a guaranteed investment tool. bitcoin, on the other hand, has not yet gained as much trust as gold.
Age is the best explanation for the beliefs of many who are still low in bitcoin, bitcoin represents the face of a young project, young talent is only too attentive to individual performance and lacks steady maturity while gold represents a stable trend over the centuries, generations in our family have seen the mission it accomplished, don't crash and keep the original quality of an investment intact. Unique qualities will not allow for complete replacements, the needs of investors will choose the right qualities for them.

Yeah, I agree with that, gold has a lot of assurance because it is a physical representation so you have something that you could hold on to and ensure that you're not going to lose it unless you actually lose your gold.

I still think that gold is overrated so for sure in just a few years bitcoin is going to surpass the market cap of gold after a big drop in the market price of bitcoin it could easily triple its market cap when it came back from a big drop just like what happened when it drops to 3000$ and then pump up to 45k$ in just a short amount of time.

You can say that gold is less risky than investing in bitcoin for sure, but bitcoin is solving a big problem in a fiat currency, and the growth of bitcoin is just ridiculous and probably the safest crypto investment that you could make.

Bitcoin has often been proclaimed to be "digital Gold" since it shares many similarities to the precious metal we know and love today. Yet, not everyone find Bitcoin to be quite an attractive store of value. Despite Bitcoin and Blockchain tech's success, Gold is still used as a sort of "hedge" against inflation. Up to this point, Gold's market cap is much bigger than Bitcoin's. Things might change in the future if popularity continues at an upward trend.

This makes me wonder, which of the aforementioned assets are better as a long term store of value? Is it Bitcoin, Gold, or both? Why do you think such asset is better? Do you think at some point in the future Bitcoin will replace Gold? Or will Gold eventually adapt itself to the digital era (tokenization of Gold)? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much Smiley

If you do believe in coincidences and ready to face it go with btc otherwise i prefer gold for you... Hehehe.... BTW, an investment 100% defend on your study.

Bitcoin and Gold are assets that everyone would love to have. similar but not the same. bitcoin in cyberspace and gold in the real world. what distinguishes it is only the category of users, in general, Gold is owned by everyone in this world in different amounts. whereas Bitcoin is only owned by people who are in the crypto world.
if possible I want to have both as assets for the future  Grin

From my opinion, Bitcoin.
If we look at the previous history, we can see that people have gained a lot from BTC. It is more than gold. The world is becoming more modern day by day.  We can expect more uses of cryptocurrency especially for BTC.

Gold is a more reliable and demanded asset in the industry. I dn't think that one day the holders of cryptocurrencies can lose everything, because the total capitalization of bitcoin has already reached more than a trillion dollars.  As long as bitcoin is in demand in dollars, it will be a good asset for others now.
most ordinary people still prefer to invest in gold, because they don't know that bitcoin is actually an investment that can increase many times over. However, people still don't know that.

Bitcoin lately is very popular, bitcoin is also starting to enter many institutions, but speaking of comparisons between gold and bitcoin, I will stick to gold, Gold is really the work of nature that we can not make even the new type, Bitcoin is limited but has hundreds of rivals very much in coinmarketcap. Therefore I think bitcoin is medium term and gold is very long term.

I have a gold account and physical gold, and I also bought some bitcoins over a year ago. I have not touched all these assets since then and I think I will not touch it for more than a year, since I decided it right away when I bought it. They have already yielded good interest to date. But this does not force me to take profit. I believe in long-term investments and I am sure that it is right. Daily trading is not for me, although my friends do it every day. My time and freedom are dear to me.

Gold or bitcoin, I think it's a difficult choice, because they live side by side, and have their own role, gold has good investment properties in some cases compared to bitcoin, but bitcoin is the same for gold,
Both of these assets can be used as assets that complement an investment portfolio

if you are a person who dares to risk for big returns, bitcoin is very good for investing, considering the development of bitcoin is very good from year to year .. meanwhile, if you just want to play it safe, gold can be an option for you ... the risk is small but the results are also small ... it all depends on you.

After a point, Bitcoin's marketcap will leave gold's behind I believe. For now, gold has a marketcap which is 11 times Bitcoin's. And if we look from the aspect of long-term investment, my choice would be definitely Bitcoin. Because when we see a bull market, Bitcoin reaches incredibly high levels. And it becomes hard to make the same profit via gold in such conditions.

Since gold is more stable for long-term holding, investors will prefer to go for gold against bitcoin.

Bitcoin is new, just a decade-old currency, but gold has been around for so many years over 100 years. So the two can not be compared, but again bitcoin has grown magnificently, so it offers quick returns.

If you are talking about a long-term investment (20 years, 30 years) with less risk, GOLD is the best choice but if you wanted to earn more and with also have an absolute risk, it gonna be Bitcoin.

Well, I don't think that people would able to wait for 20 years just to see their portfolio will grow. Because as what I observe in these new generation, almost all of them are in the hurry I don't know why but they are impatient. But for me, I have to choice both of them for a better assurance, it was just like putting an eggs to 2 baskets.
