There are plenty of lists that are showing the differences of each bitcoin poker site. But it's surprising to see that while most of the people here is suggesting swcpoker.
Those lists that you can search on google doesn't include it, those lists that are on the top searches. So if you go and search for them, you're likely to see the others that haven't been mentioned yet.

yes, I know its possible to simply google it and check but it's a good idea to ask the opinion of other users since lists on google could be biased or promoted (users too but I think we will find more independent thinkers here than on some random google website)
Yes.
Just as what I've said earlier, it's better to have all of them checked before proceeding on what you've chosen as your poker site to go. Always be picky and get to research what's with these lists. If it's unfamiliar, check their background and the bias articles could be just paid by those scam poker sites that have a negative background and history of scamming.

totally agree with that
there are clear signals of scams too you can look on websites and that appear over and over
sometimes the website is clearly scammy, other times it's just shady (and of course some other times it is ok)

always a good idea to do your own research to verify and ask people that used it

Why are you just now wanting to learn Bitcoin, where have you been all this time, Bitcoin has almost been running for 14 years, but it's good if you want to learn it.

Are you serious about wanting to bet on gambling especially 'poker' if you like you can see in the thread below.

Topic: Withdrawal Fees and Withdrawal Amounts on Crypto Casinos

There you will find gambling sites that offer trusted poker rooms, either here or outside, you just look there and choose 1-5 gambling sites that offer top poker bets.
Are you saying that there still individual who are yet to know about around the world again. I was wondering why you should asked where he has been all the while for up to 24 years of Bitcoin existence. If everyone around the world are now aware of Bitcoin we shouldn't have been talking of Bitcoin price around $64k again if we are to be truthful to our selves.

I don't think everyone in the world will ever know about bitcoin (but that's another case)
In case everyone in the world knows about bitcoin then it will be the primary mission of countries in power to take over bitcoin, Which they can till now easily but still haven't, i wonder why.

Around me most of the people i see play cards using real cash and pay some fee in clubs which they won't be playing online.

SwC is a very good platform,

Let's say it again: SwC is dead. Those who bought the site from previous owners is not interested in anything except making money from rake and fees. So SwC decreased in numbers of players. No one from old players I know doesn't still play on this site. It's an end game for SwC.

Previously i have played many poker tournaments on SwC and was lucky to win some rounds also and participated in the free bitcointalk freerolls also but after that i also take a break from all this and have not visited the site from long time and no discussion about them as well so most probably the user base has declined for them as well. This is the rule that if you don't go with the trend you will not survive the market for long term and usually will end up your business.

I only got to play SwC for a short time before it got shut down but it was amazing to see a poker site with a strong fan base dedicated to crypto - nowhere else seems to have come close and maybe the skyrocketing price of Bitcoin puts very strategic thinking poker players off gambling with their coins. Somewhere really needs to make it easy to buy Bitcoin with fiat as easy as an exchange and that would break down one barrier stopping players. However it will cost a lot of money or some very savvy marketing to draw in enough players to keep going - poker sites can very quickly die off unless you can keep them busy 24/7.

If I were you, I would not rely on random information that you can find on google. I'm not sure which list you are talking about but I did quick search and find a list of Top 5 Bitcoin Poker Sites where 1xbit is on the list. Are you referring to the list? Coming up to why most people here is suggesting swcpoker, simply because it is one of the oldest and popular bitcoin poker site in this forum.
Yeah, I know that swcpoker is the most popular and one of the oldest and is still operating to date. I'm just surprised that these lists that shows up upon search don't include swcpoker.
You're right that there are newbies that might be referring to these lists on google and that's why they're ending up using those poker sites on that list that shows first on results.

Hi everyone, I just created a new account here to learn more about bitcoin. I also like to play poker and I'm wondering if there are any good and trustworthy online bitcoin poker room out there? Thank you in advance!  Smiley
Hey @Saterday_to_da_moon, welcome to the forum!

Well, I would like to share some information with you.

These are some of the sites I know (although I've never used them)
SwC Poker - https://swcpoker.club/
Real Poker - https://realpoker.net/
CoinPoker - https://coinpoker.com/

Don't make a decision about what I said, I'm not an expert on this subject, but I think it's interesting that you also consider the opinion of other users, because consequently, they have a much more in-depth knowledge than I do.

I hope I helped you!  Smiley

I only participated in SwC once since I haven't visited there because I didn't find anything interesting happening there. I would like to go back to poker to build my skills. It is something I love , I wouldn't like to let my interest to reduce.
There's quite good number of online players on swcpoker and I think they're the bitcoin poker site that has this much. Like the others who keeps on talking about swcpoker.
There have been a quite good number of active players and if the company decides to have another marketing, I think that they can increase the numbers in due time.

can we find a ranking and comparison with many of the poker websites that accept crypto or where you can compete for cryptocurrencies? (bitcoin or others)
are these all with Texas Hold'em or other game styles too?

For some of us, it's definitely dead! But what's left then? Where to play casual only-crypto poker?

Top poker sites accepting bitcoin that serve U.S. players, other offshore customers, and players in every country of the world:
Ignition Poker
BetOnline / SB Poker
Bovada
Bodog.eu
Intertops
Americas Cardroom / BlackChip / True Poker
SwCPoker
Nitrogen Poker
Juicy Stakes
Blockchain Poker

A few of them are not available in my region (Ignition, Bovada, Bodog), Nitrogen and SWC are not so interesting... BetOnline poker was good before, but I didn't play a lot there for some reason, anyone knows how it's there now? Probably Americas Cardroom is the best option at the moment...
Juicy Stakes is a new name for me, anyone tried this casino?

I immadietely thought of a good gambling room when you asked that. there are some good ones but I like SwC poker the most and I think many also like this gambling room. it's the first room I know in doing gambling and I think it's pretty good. some people have suggested you a good gambling room, you can choose it. My advice is to choose one that is safe and reliable and makes it easier for us to do gambling so that we are also calm in doing it.

You are right, for me the main thing is security, it is not pleasant to play on platforms that turn out to be a scam and you lose money and time, SwC is a very good platform, although as I say, sometimes I do not find a platform totally like it What I want and that I had mentioned before how betcoinpoker was, some time ago a casino that unfortunately things went wrong, they made a good tournament where many members of the forum were part of it, but I do not know what happened that later became a fraud, These things usually happen when something goes wrong, perhaps it is for this reason that I always trust the most reputable casinos, whenever I want to play I go to stake and play videopoker, but honestly you need a good site where PVP is always played and has many options to enter, with money or not.

Maybe one casino can announce a bitcoin poker game in their site and invite all gamblers from here to register and start playing poker. Besides announce the poker game on their site, they can make a thread with the player list from here so we will know who is that the poker player. I think that will be excited if we can invite them as we know that we have a pro poker player here to join on that events. Who knows, we can learn from them to improve skills in poker game.

Betwrong do you play poker these days? Where? I am like on some break from poker, I can't find an attractive place...

I'm kinda on a break too, because I play once in two weeks, or even more rarely, but one $10-$15 buy-in tournament per week is in my plans for the nearest future. SwCpoker is the place.

It would be nice if we have a regular poker tournament for bitcointalk members, but for sure there should be a sponsor from a specific bitcoin poker site like the one held by betnomi some time ago. I did not participate unfortunately due to timezone difference that makes the starting time not really friendly to me.

We also had four, if I'm not mistaken, great Bitcointalk Poker Series sponsored by SwC Poker last year. Those were great times! I hope they will return again.

~ Alternatively, if there are poker rooms with low stakes, you might spend your time there before moving on to the higher stakes rooms to build or recover your poker knowledge and mechanics.

Yeah, low stakes rooms are the closest thing to "real poker" imo. Actually, I've never seen a poker site without some low stakes cash games or tournaments with low buy-ins. So, they are always there for beginners to practice.
