Price goes up and down, just part of the game =) I think people are cashing out to pay bills after the holidays. But there are many factors.

You are right I think people are just transferring there money to have some money on their bank account or something.
Its always a question when the price drops to a lower amount, I think it will only be for a while and than the price will go to higher amount again.
The bitcoin price can lower because of a lot of aspects and its always unpredictable, but one thing thing that is sure is that the price always is getting back up, sometimes its taking a lot of time and sometimes only a day.

It is not falling now. It is just starting to rise. You can see now that the people that has invest last week that they have now already profit.
But they are waiting for a higher value and that is very good. We all hope that more people will have some profit later.

Nope, price is rising now, not falling, it's 403$ now, and when halving will happen soon, price will rise even more

Yeah, and I think we can consider this price as stable, as there is no major pump or dump in bitcoin at a moment, so holding at a moment and selling after halving is the right thing to do.

Even though the price rise or go down more than 10% a week, it is very normal. The market cap is too small.

Price ups and downs not new in bitcoin, we all are used to it, the good thing would be to hold our bitcoins for the future and sell when we see a major pump in the value of bitcoins.
Let's just guess what will the new floor be. Price swings like these are nothing new unless you're new to bitcoin or new to watching its price day after day.

The bitcoin price has already  crossed the $400 mark and I strongly believe it is on its way up.
Yes it showing strong uptrend right now when we see small volume making large pumps. It is sign of strong holding.

Yeah the price of bitcoin is gaining a pace at a moment, and it is going high, we should not surprise if bitcoin crosses $500 in coming months, as it is expected that price would climb up after block halving.

It will fall a bit, but it will rise again soon, it might fall to 350$ now, but they will back to 500$ or even more

can't see the price fall back to the $350 level. it may go down to $380 again, but not much lower than that. i am already happy if we manage to stay around $400-$430 for another month. that will give us enough time to build a more than solid support above $400. i think in march we may see the price go towards $500.

I don't think it will be falling to a very low point.
The bitcoin has a good future and the most people believe in the bitcoin.
Also the halving will be here very soon so the bitcoin will rise up to a better price.

No i mistyped bitcoin & typed ballcoin..

And nope its down again today to $375

I think the price will not decrease much. Because people now see it as a good time to buy because they are thinking that it will be worth more later, so they get more money for it.

Again, I disagree. This isn't only normal fluctuation. The temporary altcoin boom does also reflect the sentiment in the market that Bitcoin does not scale. If this is a serious concern or not doesn't matter here. Price is all about mood and mass-psychology and the mood isn't positive now. In fact, it's negative. Bitcoin developers and community should have solved this problem long ago. They (we) have chosen to not act but to blabla about it for over a year. This will not kill Bitcoin but it can and does hurt the price on a short-term basis. Keep in mind that halving isn't fully calculated in but that miners are making more than enough profit at current prices anyway.

I'm expecting further down-trend until LN news in April. Fine by me, I will buy a bit more in February and March then.

shouldn't this be in the altcoin forums?

I couldn't find ballcoin on coinmarketcap... are there even exchanges that trades this coin? Cheesy
LOL. OP means Bitcoin, he said ballcoin because the price is going up and down. xD

Yeah the comparison to a ball is spot on. The price has been fluctuating for hours up and down $10 every minute or so it's crazy oO
