According to my opinion, we should stay away from short term trading altogether if we don't have too much experience in trading. Don't just for a little short-term profit at the expense of greater risk, it's better to keep holding and buying more bitcoins every time we have the budget. There is no need to wait for bitcoin to drop to buy as there is no guarantee that bitcoin will fall, and as long as bitcoin has not broken past the old ATH, it is still a good price to buy bitcoin in the long term.
If you trade with minimal capital and then decide to trade short term there will be no guarantee of satisfactory results. Let alone choosing Bitcoin as an option, I personally would not do it except for the long term where the benefits will be more pronounced.

Some people may be good at scalping and indeed their skills are quite capable. But again in long term trading, Bitcoin remains the preferred choice even for experienced traders.

I believe bitcoin can reach more than 100k$ in value this year, not even get between 80k$-90k$. How did I say this?

If in the year 2021, we did not expect bitcoin to reach the highest of 69k$ how much more so now? The fact that this happened just shows that bitcoin is moving where we never thought it could go. The more many disagree that its 100k$ value is impossible, the more bitcoin proves that the impossible always happens to him.

It's impossible for Bitcoin to reach that value before the halving date therefore we aren't getting close to $100k in 2023. I think the Best bitcoin can achieve this year is better $35k+40k. Looking at the news there isn't much going on that can trigger the market to react positivity to that amount. The only major factor affecting the market is the anticipation of the halving of Bitcoin so investors are accumulating.

The OP is been too optimistic but that's a good thing because there has been so many negativity in the market but he shouldn't be over excited as anything can happen that will cause a dip in market. The only time we can be  over optimistic is after the halving as the supply of Bitcoin coming into the market will be reduced.

Yes, trading isn't bad, just because we don't make a profit doesn't mean everyone doesn't profit from trading either. I have a few friends who consider trading as their main source of income, and they have also become rich without having to do any other work. But it must be admitted that the number of people who do that is very small. Trade or hold both have the same purpose of making profits and both are good, choose the one that suits you best.
Trading is not bad, it can be a way of making money, but it can be a means of having huge loss of money which is most likely for most people, especially the future traders.

Some people that could have hold and make profit, but instead, they trade and lost all, when the time to hold came, they having little or nothing left.

In reality, trading is a means some people think they can make fast money, but instead they make fast losses.

Holding will suit most people most.

The graph will continue to move downwards or upwards so you should not be too happy with a momentary rise because there will come a downturn with an amount that will surprise you later. what should you do continue to see good moves to sell.
Avoid short-term trading if you really want to get better results from bitcoin. Rest assured bitcoin will be more profitable in the long term, that means you just have to take advantage of market fluctuations to buy more bitcoins. So buy more bitcoin and hold, I am sure you will really manage to make a lot of profit if you are sure about this.

However, you can also take advantage of short-term fluctuations to make profit. But if you want to get worth it return with the risk of your investment, then hold on to your bitcoin from now on and buy more.
Short term trading is not bad for everyone, it is bad for me and I am sure bad for many newbies and even some veterans but there are some people who can make some serious profits from short term trading as well. Seen many people do x10 in a year, and if you can do that just a few times, you are beyond rich and can't even do that after certain point because you would be at a too much level.

Long story short, we should be focusing on what we can do, I agree long term is great, if you are capable of that, then do it and I mean capable of long term is still hard because even though all you have to do is wait, there are many who fail to wait long enough and panic sell as well.

Great hope to remain patient with the price of Bitcoin later. but have you ever imagined that Bitcoin will just disappear? and there have bought a large amount of these Bitcoins. Can all that just make you calm? I think there will be things that make you sick. but I don't argue that all of your steps are correct to continue to see the development of Bitcoin for a long time.
If people are thinking bitcoin will disappear or its value will get to $0 one day, no one would want to invest, people invest to make some profits from their bitcoin investment. Anything can happen in the future, but we should see bitcoin more as money, decentralized in a way that you have the control as long as you have the keys. We should be positive about bitcoin and about what the price of bitcoin would be in the future. All I think is that in the future, bitcoin prices will get to $1 million and more. About this year, it is getting positive already too.
We are now far from having that kind of imagination and only those who were around in 2010 at that early stage of Bitcoin that may have that kind of fear of bitcoin disappearing, but in this current dispensation and stage of bitcoin price and adoption it is very unlikely that anything can push Bitcoin to become worthless.
-Expexting a $0 bitcoin price is like believing that the earth will stop rotating one day, this is quite impossible and we should expect something better than what we are currently experiencing with bitcoin.
-I am sure shortly,  bitcoin may reach a 1 million dollar price, as Oshoshody rightly predicts not even be above that price in the next couple of years to come.

That's exactly what newbies should do but for those who are in this market for a long time I think they know what to do. Except with those who doesn't have a clue in the market and is a fond of holding instead of buying and selling. DCA is the key until we hit the bull market then it's for sure a profit again.

2023 Bitcoin price might stay at 20k to 30k for a year IMO perhaps when the halving is close we will see the price starting to dump slowly just like a slingshot getting ready to move into the moon. But for now most of the speculation/prediction's answer was 20k to 30k.

The continuation of the 2023 macroeconomic downturn makes me think bitcoin will have a hard time entering the next bull season.  Ideally, there should be a recovery leg, after bitcoin built strong momentum in January – 15k bottom formation structure.  It is an optimistic signal but it is difficult for new money to come in, or in other words, confidence needs to be re-created in the market.  So what more can we expect???  The worst case would be a fresh bottom of 12k but a strong bounce or bitcoin moving sideways and correcting slightly, with less volatility at 20-30k.
Now the bounce is starting to show again in Bitcoin as it did today in the market. So you don't need to doubt about the increase in the price of Bitcoin this year, because new money will enter the market in this year after investors are no longer in trouble with the economic influences that they may have often faced so far. I even believe that Bitcoin can manage to pass $ 25K in this month, the possibility to go to $ 30K is wide open for Bitcoin in the first quarter of this year.

The graph will continue to move downwards or upwards so you should not be too happy with a momentary rise because there will come a downturn with an amount that will surprise you later. what should you do continue to see good moves to sell.

$20,000 - $30,000 will be a safe prediction since we came from a bear market and I can’t expect Bitcoin to rise instantly after a devastating year, most probably it will take 2-3 years before we finally see the huge pump. There’s nothing to worry though, you can just continue buying while its cheap and increase your holdings, many are doing this already and they know it will be worth it.

People are actually missing the last point that you mentioned here mate. If we think and worry about the price too much, then definitely we miss the best price to buy the Bitcoins. According to me, now when the price is cheap, buy as many Bitcoins as you can and just wait. Bitcoins due to the limited number of supply of coins, will definitely rise in its price in future. As in order to maintain the demand, the coins price will automatically increase. For this year, I am guessing BTC will cross 40k and will try to maintain the price. Not hoping high, but atleast Bitcoins will recover this year.

The price of bitcoin will continue to rise even though there are occasional corrections like in 2022, and in my opinion whoever is patient to hold then he is a winner, many people have successfully gone through the test and temptation to sell immediately, on the internet there are stories of people who bought bitcoin at a price below $ 100 in in 2012, and he became a rich man because he sold 10% of bitcoin stock in 2017, then sold 10% of stock in 2021, and now he still has tens of thousands of bitcoins and will sell when the price is $ 100k.
Is this just a story you made up yourself? Because if a Bitcoin owner with tens of thousands of bitcoins is not an arbitrary person and you should know what his name is because usually the media that makes stories like that also pin the names of the owners of that many Bitcoins.

So you also have to mention the name of the Bitcoin owner with that amount here so that the story you wrote is true and it doesn't seem like you made it up yourself. Because between 2012 and 2017, of course, the journey is not short and from 2017 to 2021 as well, you need to explain a more complete truth about this.
Haha spear him mate,  Grin whichever way his story was motivating but then full of inconsistency from the beginning of the story till the end one will notice how unrealistic this story is, but all the same, the point the op is trying to make is in the area of holding for long and how to take opportunities to buy when bitcoin is at a discount price.
- Doing a dollar cost averaging is something we should pay close attention to at every moment be it buy time or sell off time.
-But DCA is more appropriate only at the sell and buys point and aside from that, one can easily continue to hold bitcoin without constantly checking its dollar value.

But people should realize that bitcoin is not yet a store of value more than being a speculative asset, bitcoin falls most to being a speculative asset. It has a time to buy bitcoin and it has a time not to buy it. During a very massive bull run, it is not good to buy bitcoin again for many months. I am still wondering how those that buy above $50000 will feel now. It is certain that bitcoin will get back above $50000 but it would take time before that will occur. The best time to buy bitcoin is after a massive bull run followed by a massive bear market, any further unrealized loss at that time will not cause panic if you buy at low price already.

The increase that has occurred to date has made many users sure as a trap, but I think the opposite, a very large transaction volume makes me sure that there is no way there are people or companies who want to bet with Bitcoin, and if you look at the market trend that occurs then I'm sure In 2023 it will be closed with a significant increase compared to 2022, maybe the price that can be achieved is approaching ATH in 2021 which is around $ 60K.

Maybe it happened, but the upswing and the graph going forward may not be obvious to people who invest small amounts but if some millionaires sell Bitcoin assets they might experience a shocking drop down the road. So whatever happens, continue to invest large amounts. if possible

Investors who have millions of dollars in assets will of course find it difficult to calm down if they look at the current market, it is very difficult to predict, when in January the price rose by more than 40% but in February there was a decrease of around 10%, for those of us who have bitcoin with small amounts of course not too concerned with short-term price movements, it is better to focus on long-term hold.

I don't think so, investors have millions of dollars in assets, which means they have a lot of experience to be able to earn such large amounts of money. They know what they are doing in this market, and a 10% drop is sometimes their opportunity to buy in. Unlike retail investors who always want their assets to grow quickly, those who don't have too much money but want to get rich quick when they see bitcoin's price drop will panic and dump.
