It might go that high but we can not assure that. We can't predict furture, can we? No one knew back then that the price would go that high. If someone wrong happens we might see the price fall down to $350 instead which is highly unlikely to happen though. Yes I do believe that nothing was going wrong and the prices were going very much high with creating a confidence to the users. Especially after the japans announcement of accepting the Bitcoin and then from nowhere somehow the prices dropped. There is definitely a chance, but afterall the price has to be supported by "something". With that "something" being unknown, the market actually predicted a price of $1726.70... That's why the current price.
I see that you guys are on the positive side and with hope in the huge future of the Crypto-currency. I, too, share your opinion, but there is certainly some kind of apprehension about the risks and other aspects of the activity in the field of crypto currency.
Who knows, We are talking about Bitcoin here the price speculation of 3,500$ this month might hit. One thing good about Bitcoin is it is very unstable you'll just wake up one day price is sky rocketing and sometimes you'll wake up its going down. But as a user of Bitcoin for many many years i believed in Bitcoin that the longer it survives the higher the price it can get.
I have no doubt it will reach above 3-4k$ because we have entered an era of widespread adoption with news coming out of bitcoins acceptance right around the world. If the ETF is also approved this year even 5k+ is possible.
Well etf will be a big factor for the value to keep rising up i like this speculation since we are almost in 2k$ already and we only in a first quarter so there's a lots of time and with many adoptions and new investors which gaining attention btc will increase to that stage. sr. member

in my point of view that the possibility price on this year approximately $2000 could be less or more and very hard to reach $3500 but i think sometimes in bitcoin world there is an situations that when it is impossible to became an possible so lets wait for next peak in this year
I think we could see those prices in the coming weeks actually. It might kiss 3k before correcting but it'll probably hover around 2 to 3k before the end of the year.
I'm sorry dude but I don't agree with you. To touch $3000 I think we need to solved the issue on the scaling problem. Transaction fees are going up to the roof as well making people to not choose bitcoin as mode of bitcoin. With that said, I highly doubt that $3000 this year is possible.

It cannot reached that price cause it so very high and bitcoin only have 6 months to reached that 3500$ before 2018 which is impossible right now. Bitcoin spend years to reached the current price today ,and going to 3500$ price this year is only a dream that will never come true.Most of the trader will probably sell once it hits the peak by the end of the day. But who know what will happen. If it did happen on ripple with billions of supply, it may also be possible. Maybe banks are also considering bitcoin and not just xRP.

It is absolutely true that the price of bitcoin will increase to $3500 in this year because now the price of bitcoin once again started to increase and we all know that when the price start to increase then it take no time to reach the highest levels so within a few months I am sure that it will reach to the level of $3000 and will then forward to $3500.

I think realistic speculation would be 2500$ rather than 3500$. Its only may right now and we still have 6+ months till end of this year so price can easily go way higher than $2000. 
My prediction on December 31, 2017: $10,000+ per BTC 
With Bitcoin it makes more sense to predict 10,000+ than below that, indeed

That price seems unlikely, but I also didn't expect the price to rise to $1900 this year either. I also expected a bigger correction in price which we could still have.
Yes, we can more than 2000$ in the year 2017, but 3500$ is the really very high amount it is not possible to predict easily. As the bitcoin community keeps increasing but the chances of increasing more than 3500$ in coming years it is possible may be.
With countries like Japan and Australia (July 1 will recognize Bitcoin as money) take it seriously AND worldwide debt based fiat money crashes making 2008 look like a speed bump ... the only places of safety will be precious metals and the most trusted crypto: Bitcoin
