John McAfee is one of the person who gives more positivity to the crypto people. Whether the prediction is gonna come to reality or not, but whenever he comes forward with some statements I feel convinced even when the market is not that progressive. As some users mentioned he's mocking, I suggest let him mock and he isn't creating any negativity around.

Obviously it seems like he is mocking everyone that follows him, first saying that bitcoin will reach 500.000$ in 2020 and now something even more absurd that bitcoin will 100% reach 1 million dollars in 2020. He says it's impossible not to happen so, but I and probably 99% of bitcoin users think exact the opposite since that wouldn't happen even in our dreams what about in reality.

Er, yeah okay. Anyone know where he studied math?How I'd love for him to be right on this one, and I know I would be in good company but this is a delusional prediction, and that is putting it as kindly as I can.
It doesnt matter where he studied maths or how great his previous achievements and possibly even future ones. The statement is already wrong because its not a logical statement even on brief consideration
The dollar is not a fixed value, its entirely free market based now with no set exchange or guarantee so far as I know. That initially supports his idea of 1 million because the dollar could be any value in exchange for those 1 million notes. However then saying its impossible it wont be $1m ignores the fact that dollars can also rise in value, could in 2020 or 2021 be a highly valued asset even much rarer to aquire then now.
I dont believe that will be the case but its a possible scenario and its happened unexpectedly in 2008 so his statement is not saying anything more then hyperbole and it was wrong as soon as he finished it. I dont doubt he knows that

Hahaha, we all know how strong bitcoin his, and I know that we have some people that are extremist and would do anything or say anything nice about BTC. Can you look at his eyes, does he not look like a whale, after accumulating enough BTC, now he wants to create FOMO that will shoot the price of his investment high.
With or without mcafee, bitcoin will reach any ATH it chooses to go, I believe $50000 for 2020 but that price he mentioned is way too outrageous men, I can’t wait to see 2020 and let’s see if he will be truth to his words, since the promise are made openly. Who would believe John Mcafee to begin with. Dude managed to make a great company once and sold it and he is lucky to have that but this is the dude that said he would eat is own penis if bitcoin didn't reach there, anyone that would make any claim on bitcoin like that should not be really listened at all. And it turned out he took money from ICO people to promote their coins and ICO people would profit more from the increase than the payment they made so he is definitely a shady person from all we know about him so far. That is why his "mathematics" is seriously just supportive of what he supports and that is it, I can create a chart that shows bitcoin going to zero and a million all possible if you look at it from the right perspective and he just uses his own favorite ones.

Craig is an absolute lunatic. I am not exactly sure what his end game is, but I'm more and more convinced that he is not interested in Bitcoin itself, but more so to turn this whole ecosystem into one pile of rubbish. It's purely speculation on my end, but it could very well be that he is a government or banking shill.
He obviously, shifted already, specially when he decided to create his BSV and separated himself from Roger Ver. And we still can't forget what they have done to the ecosystem last November, they damage it but at least karma bite them in the ass specially Craig Wright.
I remember how people made fun of Jihan saying that he is a Blockstream spy, but he might actually have a point there.
Everyone really has some motives behind. They might not show them, but it's just a matter of time before these bad actors will really show their true colors and their intentions.

The prediction might be off but certainly in the future bitcoin price may come close to this. No one predicted that the price of bitcoin will hit its ATH back in 2017. Let's just be optimistic that something good will occur again in the near future.
We need lots of large scale adoptions both individually and institution wise, if we can get institutions to come into the cryptocurrency massively within the next 10 years, then in 15 years’ time, we should hit the final peak of about $1,000,000 for BTC, but for now. Let’s stick with something between 50K and 100k.

I predict more than 10 million dollar for BTC units at 2020 
, expert say 75K/100K at 2020 is a very high value for BTC. The increase in value above 50K just hasn't happened yet, I think 1 million dollar is very much money for me to have fun

We all understand that bitcoin is far more better than fiat and paper money and the technology behind it H7as no equal in financial cycles however many governments and society at large has not really see anything about bitcoin and reither than trying to educate themselve and their citizens on this great developments they are there speaking negatively about bitcoin and even called it a ponzi scheme! McAfee is one of a fearless personality of our time and I prefer to agree with his predictions than the warning from our governments.

It's a matter of positive perspectives mate, we must respect all of those ideas although it felt redundant to hear those good words coming from their mouth. That price was too much to expect for, and maybe 2020 was too early to rejoice for it because we can't even reach $20k yet he's speculating a brilliant price as well. Let's remain realistic and believing such stories like that somewhat a fairy tale myth for me.

It depends on how the price reaches such levels. If the US Dollar loses most of its value, and Bitcoin is worth $1 million, then it could just as easily be $100k (or less) in today's purchasing power.Do you remember the USDT mini crash last year? Bitcoin's USDT pairs pumped significantly where people got excited and started speculating about a bull run, while the price based on the USD didn't move that much at all.
It was purely a price adjustment to match the USD value, and the same applies to how everyone considered it to be bullish that the price of Bitcoin in Turkey's Lira reached a new high.

That's directly the main reason for CSW to keep suing people, threaten exchanges to initiate double spend attacks, dump BTC down to $1000, etc. Most people don't like CSW, but they still want to know what he is up to, and news outlets happily tap into that demand and release all sorts of rubbish articles.

Many of us studied mathematics i think so it would not be difficult for us to done or to calculate what John Mcaffe is talking or predicting around. For the second time i don't believe that it may happen as early in the 2020 bitcoin may takes more time to reach that price.
