very difficult to predict the bitcoin prices even though i do expect the prices will reach to $4000 someday but actually I am very grateful for the current situations because even the prices seems stuck but at least will not going down and still above $600 is good situations for me but i was hoping that after these halving bitcoin prices will reach the highest prices throughout history but i don't know on what year it would be happened

It is never really bad to be optimistic but being TOO optimistic is something else. It's like this quote "too much good stuff is bad stuff." Right?
Anyway, I think the price might probably dwell around $800 in a few days to come. Let's just wait and see.

Look bitcoin has no limit, the sky is the limit, this year bitcoin can reach 700-800 dollars and find support at that value, till bitcoin reach 1000dollars again, it need to be more accepted online, meaning merchants add it as payment option.

Thinking of $700 to $800 in bitcoin price is realistic since it's just need a less push from the big whales.

For the $1000 price mark, big investors must start a big and hudge panic so that we can reached that price. If ever the price will reached to $1000, I will assume that the correction price will be on around $900.

its good to see steady increase in price rather than rapid growth because if the price increases too quickly, the safe assumption is that a correction will occur in the short term.

I think the bitcoin price will rise a lot in the next 12 to 24 months. There are active development of bitcoin.

Yes we should give bitcoin time of at least 1 more year to show its true colors to us and price will be definitely above $1k in next year.

I do not think that the price is going to be that high after the halving because we have not seen the thousand for a while an for it to suddenly jump to $4000 is pretty unlikely.
If it happens then that does not mean that I find it bad because I will sell if the price is that high.

Well you just quoted a reply that's already a month ago when the price was still at $570.
Although there isn't really that big leap of price from back then.

Anyway, it's already a few days after the halving and we're not seeing any movement from the value of bitcoin. I'd say to just give it more time and it will rise but not to $4k. That's just nearly impossible right now.

I would be happy if the price stays around $700 and hasn't fallen back to under $500 around Christmas this year. If there haven't been any major movements on the Bitcoin market until the end of 2016 I think I will be selling some of my coins to purchase stuff with them either during the winter holiday season or early 2017. It looks like all the bold claims of doubling up the price after the halving and surpassing the $1000 threshold aren't happening any time soon.
