In previous halving price moved $10 to $1000 then dropped to $200 & steady for a long time
So, growth = $10 X 20 = $200

Simple calculation

After this halving price will go $200 X 20 = $4000 ?

 Huh Huh Huh Huh

I am happy to see people as optimistic as me and looking forward to the increase of bitcoins price this coming halving. Seriously this halving has become a major event in the bitcoin history. There are many things to expect but I hope it will go up more than 10,000$ that way I can pay all my debts and will have a celebration after the halving. More power to us bitcoin users.

Nobody knows what will happen to bitcoin after halving but at my opinin  price will start decreasing, cause it was so high before halving, around $750.

Bitcoin is full of surprises and its really difficult to predict what will be the price at halving or after halving, just prefer to hold my coins and hoping for the best at halving.

I don't think that bitcoin can even achieve the price of 1000 usd at halving or even after the halving, so dreaming of $4k is something waste of time.
Don't be so negative about your thoughts friend. Did you knew that price would bump from 400$ to 800$ in a span of just 2-3 weeks ? NO, then how you can even think that something which has so much more potential can not cross
1000$ ? In my perspective it may go beyond $5000 also.

i think you are surely right, no one can actually predict the price in my opinion and in the future nearly anything might possibly happen, its the main thing why i cant make money of trading

i think that bitcoin price wont reach the 4000 dollar price soon after halving though in my opinion it can definitely jump to a new all time high what would make me some money

Nah, there is no way that I can think of that can lead to an all time high this year. If it doesn't happen just before the block halving, then it will be very difficult this year. Maybe that we can go up till the $800s before going down again. One thing is sure, with this volatility there is enough money to be maid as trader.

If the price of bitcoin stand at 700 dollars I believe its more then safe and sure, last year they pumped bitcoin very soon because the halving they said, no news that made bitcoin get such value of 400 dollars, soo we may be at the halving price . About the 4000 dollars value it may happen but for sure we wont be live to see such value.

I thought it was an impossible thing to happen. halving will not change the price of more than 15-fold in recent days Lol
The most likely is the price towards $ 800

hey you, yeah you, fuck you!!!
$4k sounds way absurd. when we cant even reach $800 within 10 days for the actual event.

please, put your feet on the ground and look at it realistically that needs to get there.

It needs a ton of buy orders from the other side to reach this point.
Yes sounds very unlikely to be able to touch the $ 4k as well as $ 800 because of the time leaving only a few more days to halving occurs.

No,I am not convinced of this price.Bitcoin needs to show stability in price and more adoption and acceptance.Which is much more important than quick increases. We will not see even half of this price neither before nor after halving.maximum another 200 $ can be seen in current prices.

Your calculation is broken Cheesy  Don't forget the dump factor.  There is some thread here about Fund house.  So this is the group who holds a huge amount of BTC.  Your calculation will easily be broken if this house decide to dump all their holdings Cheesy  And don't forget the exploit factor plus bad press too.  So basically it is really hard to calculate the Bitcoin price after the halving for it is all speculations.

I dont think anyone seriously expects it to go above 1k immediately after the halving, its going to be a gradual increase. Hell, I wouldn't expect 4k even this year.

Doing the same too, in addition to these I am also buying the maximum number of bitcoins possible with my savings, earnings and anything possible for me. So, wish me the best and hope we all earn with halving that would be very big surprises for almost all the bitcoiners.

I think it is a very possible case that it starts decreasing after halving although no one can ensure about it easily but considering the demand it is possible.

You cannot calculate the bitcoin price of the future as the price change is very frequent and unexpected.

I think it would be very difficult, and maybe you're wrong when calculating it. I feel that the price of bitcoin will not reach $ 4,000 within a few years, maybe even the maximum price that could happen two years from now may be the price of bitcoin is not more than $ 2,000

I agree, it's like surprising people that it will make a big jump from $600 to $4000. It's really unrealistic. Even $750 is already doubtful this upcoming days.

Yeah and if it touches to the price of $750 at halving then I would be very much satisfied and prefer to sell the coins that I hold, as of now I am not expecting too much from halving.

There will be no pump. Live with it. Not saying that you're part of the issue, I'm just outlining this for everyone.

The big speculators and investors already know how much the miners are going to be selling their Bitcoin for in order to cover their costs, and that value is most likely what we are seeing right now. $630 will more than likely be the $300 of a year and a half ago; the baseline for Bitcoin and more than likely the minimum value it will hold, unless everyone dumps it.

Seeing anything above a $70-$100 pump after the halving will be surprise to everyone, and even a $100 pump is unlikely to occur.

Lol this is such a funny thing to see how many people thinks that the halving will affect the price of the bitcoin in a positive way i can help
you out of your dream the halving will only affect people who are mining so dont be sad that is does not affect the price it is just the truth.

the speculation and hype around the block halving are driving the price. at the end the lower block rewards will make sure the influx of new coins entering the market will be reduced. right now there is more supply than actual demand. if there was no block halving upcoming, then the price would definitely not manage to stay above the $600 price level.

Exactly people bought so many coins in last month and that is the reason we are seeing this price, but now price is stable and not expecting major pump at halving.

The OP is just day dreaming about the price after halving as most of them have seen the last halving jump but no one notes that in that halving their were only 10% users of bitcoin so this jump was possible but now more than 50% are in bitcoins and are also expecting the same jump of the price after halving but as i have said before also before halving what ever the pump is good but after halving their will be full selling pressure and so then we can even see the major crash of price also after halving as 90% will be trying to sell after halving.
