Its tends to pick up in February of the preceding year.

The price of bitcoin already reach that price and i think that it is still a hard price for bitcoin to maintain and the price can dump after the hard fork because of the profit taking of the holders of bitcoin that will surely sell it close or closer from the price of $5000. Altcoins will still dump because of the pump of bitcoin but if bitcoin will have some dump then it is the time for them to pump.

The earlier the alt coins start performing on their own without absolute dependence on bitcoin, the better. When the price of bitcoin falls, we are quick to see threads such as 'what will be the effect on alts' now that the price is increasing now we are seeing threads such as this. Yet every alt is claiming or intending to be the next bitcoin at the same time relying on bitcoin. Such contradictions seems to be something I am yet to understand.
As bitcoin begins to skyrocket, people will have less to invest in alts. The ever expanding alt market will become supersaturated and nearly untradable as bitcoin approaches 500,000$/btc. Then the crypto market will be backbones onto a tenable system that limits how value can be dissipated through alts. Bitcoin will crash as something that truly solves the crypto>value problem

i think so too. so if you don't want to follow the herd you should look for good/cheap buy-options for altcoins right now and sell btc when the fork comes and when it fell then buy in again in btc and don't forget to sell the altcoins when they will have had their rise;)
In this period, it is a mistake to believe that Bitcoin's evaluation process is complete. We will witness that it will become much more valuable. With this limited supply for bitcoin, $4-5K is nothing in the price sense. If we can see the pricing of $100K, then maybe we can say "Bitcoin is done, it is complete". The increased in price of bitcoin in the last days is as a result of the fork and the speculators who want to earn free bitcoin gold money. I like the situation because it return us back to where we were before China took us back below 4000. I think 4000 is the floor price now. It's inevitable that it will reach and exceed it at some point in the future. It's also a mental number barrier just like $10K, etc. Once breached there could be some strong buying at that level.
Its all about getting free bitcoin gold on actober 25 so everyone converting altcoins into bitcoin . Now its the right time to grab some good altcoins may the worth more than Bitcoingold after fork . Most of the millionaires in crypto world because of altcoins not because of bitcoin.
