No it is not true. bitcoin can replace other online currencies and payment soruces. like paypal, payza, skrill pefectmoney etc. but bitcoin will never replace paper money. paper money will be exist.

Bitcoin is no substitute for the major currencies on the market. The first reason is that we need a real and material unit for communication between people.
I think no matter what the form of money, or digital cash. if it is used by many people and the currency was becoming mainstream I think it could be used as the main currency. I think the future even later as bitcoin digital currency will be in the interest
