Fiat exists for thousnads of years, bitcoin maybe for a decade.
It is way too early to award bitcoin to the same level as a fiat.
And one day all bitcoins will be mined, I do not think that something similar can happen to fiat.
So from how I see it bitcoin won't be able to replace money.

Fiat are, in various ways, the center of our nation's power.
Losing control on something for them is really bad because it lowers their power. Figures THIS kind of power.
And honestly, I don't even know if the future will be "bitcoin" or another cryptocurrency. I don't have any idea how it will be possible to solve the problem of the centralization and complexity of the blockchains...

I don't think bitcoin will replace the fiat money but... in future will have more popularity and more people being attracted for cryptos because they give the oportunity to make some thing that fiat don't that why i guess bitcoin is very popular rigth now
The popularity of bitcoin is nothing compared to the popularity of fiat, and the popularity of bitcoin is because as you said it fluctuates and that can generate profits for someone who invests but if it moves in a positive way, if it moves negatively then it can be a disaster for the investors.

Me either. I do not think that it can and will replace fiat currency. People are more familiar with fiat currency and there is no hard time to use it. Also there is no electricity, computer, internet connection, and password needed to complete a transaction of buying things on the store or supermarket. But like what you said it could be possible but not as of the moment and not so soon. It will take time for it to happen. But it could be possible.

People have to be persuaded to use bitcoin, but for most of them fiat money is sufficient enough for what they are doing.
They see no reason why to try something like bitcoin, when their old way of handling money just works fine.
Besides, using bitcoin needs some technical interest of the people, I think a lot of them do not have that.

people don't need to understand bitcoin to be able to use it. just the same way they don't even understand what money and other money related things they are using like paypal and credit cards work.
they only need to understand the benefits of using bitcoin.
for example if sites like Amazon start accepting bitcoin everybody will start using bitcoin right away because they will be saving up on a lot of fees and in smaller transactions it is a lot helpful.

Anyways, not with the satisfaction but fiat exist for many years now and it's hard for people to change their financial views. It's better to just enjoy the advantage of using bitcoin today rather to think of a replacement.

I don't know if bitcoin will ever replace fiat currencies because central banks and governments like to keep a control over people but it may become more significant and important as people wake up to the reality that fiat currency is trash at the end of the day when it keeps devaluing.

For me its impossible to replace money because we already a tradition to use money instead of bitcoin.. bitcoin is just good for alternative in online.. they are expecting more about bitcoin but i am sure bitcoin will stay long..I don't see such a thing happening. too. In a way it's what we want to see, but it makes no sense. that the whole world will pay with bitcoin. Just imagine your nana and his friend sending money by bitcoins. It's not impossible but they would not do that.
This is just possible to happen if the government of a country adopted bitcoin is going to allow this to happen. But if they are not going to allow it and sees it as a threat.
Then this adoption and replacement of fiat money is not going to happen anymore because they don't have control in bitcoin.
