I was hoping to see some sort of scale to define individual ratings in respect to the entire bitcoin innovation but in the absence of any particular scale, I’ll invent one for myself and that be; on a scale of 1 - 10, I’ll rate myself to be 6. Possibly because I don’t want to give myself a 5 but be way above average but then, the technical part about the whole innovation is still unraveling and until then, I’ll rate myself somewhere around average.

On the whole, bitcoin have in many ways impacted the way I approach almost all that concerns me and life itself. It’s teachings about privacy raises a lot of concerns as to how I fill forms online and offline, what details to sort out for on documents, T&C of concerns and how to approach investment opportunities.

As for me, and as with everyone here my journey started with bitcoin. Knew about it from an internet ad and then proceeded to visit this forum back then only for knowledge and proper advices as I try to brave things out (this was still in 2016 and I'm nothing more than a broke high school kid with supportive parents) and when I finally mustered the courage to take the leap and invest in crypto it was with bitcoin and the money I earned from signature programs in the past. From there I grew in knowledge and experience.

I'd say working with cryptocurrency now, My self-rating is around 95%. I know the ins and outs of the industry (except mining which to me is still a general mess even though I dabbled with GPU mining in the past) and as I transition into working for Web3, I'm bound to learn more about the crypto world.

So the big question is,  how will you rate yourself since your involvement and interaction with Bitcoin and bitcoin talk as a community,  have you become more financially educated resulting in your consistency in building a financially free future by accumulating Bitcoin and spending less and investing more,  or have you become more Conservative in your approach taking Bitcoin as get a rich quick scheme that will always end you in frustration?

What have become you financial life and status in the society and how have you managed your privacy using Bitcoin?
On my way to financial freedom in the future, if I  continue to hold on to my bitcoin investment until when the bull run start.
My life has transformed as a result of learning about bitcoin through this forum, whether it be in terms of bitcoin investment or any other kind of investment. The forum has widened my knowledge to now see investing in bitcoin as a strategy that can eventually set someone free financially. If the person is persistent enough to trust the price movement of bitcoin without panicking and selling during a bear market, he will succeed in it when the bull run comes

Bitcoin and Bitcointalk? This pair has made a big impression on me. There are no "get-rich-quick" schemes going on here, mate. I see Bitcoin as a shift in the way money works, and this forum as the driver's seat.

My rating? Let's just say I went from being a crypto-newbie to a crypto-enthusiast faster than Bitcoin's bull run in 2017. But what a ride! Even the crashes taught me something, like the nights I couldn't sleep because I was watching the news.

Educated about money? Check. Every time I add a Satoshi, I feel the weight of being in charge of my own money. It really gives you power. What's my place in the world? Well, let's just say that Bitcoin has helped me go from being Joe Average to being Joe Financially-Aware.

I've learned a lot about privacy from reading about pseudonymity and anarchy. Wallets, mixing devices, Tor... I'm playing the ultimate game of hide and seek because of Bitcoin. So, yeah, a big deal?

Bitcoin  had been one of the best things that have ever happened to me and the same thing also applies  to the forum (bitcointalk.org) in general and I can't even imagine what my life would have been without the forum and bitcoin and there was a thread where someone asked if it was possible  to name one's  child after bitcoin  and the thread discussion just popped up my mind after reading this thread and I think I wouldn't even mind naming my child after bitcoin  if my wife approves of it.

Long story short, bitcoin  has helped my life in several ways especially  via the financial aspect and the forum has shaped me real hard to be a real man and I'm forever grateful to Satoshi and the forum and it's admins and moderators.

90% of my thoughts originate from Bitcoin in terms of investment,  and the other 10% is on related topics that come up here in the forum,  being a Bitcoin maximalist my entire portfolio starts and ends with Bitcoin.
Well, i can't agree more that i have become more knowledgeable and financially stable only because of this platform. Because i have shared my story a hell lot of time here before but here i go again. I started my journey back in 2018 when i started to do Virtual Mining (free of cost) which only wasted my time. Actually i am the one who wasted my time not those mining fake platforms.

So, i left spending time on crypto after frustrating and then in 2021 i again started my journey and came to know about this platform, spent some time on bounties, then started to take part in discussions which really excites me because i was learning things. So, yeah! in short this platform had taught me a lot. Even, this platform help me to find my passion of Content writing. And also in selection of a niche. I may want to become a developer of blockchain one day. But till then i will learn as much as i can. So, to do that, now i have expended my reach in technical discussions too. Even somethings goes above me, i try to understand it.

I probably learned everything I know about finance after I met bitcoin 10 years ago. It made me a better investor, a better businessman.

Thanks to btc I understood how the central banks are ripping us off by printing money out of thin air. I learned how the US is broke and China/Russia owns the world. I learned the importance of using hard money and that's bitcoin.

Still though, there is still a lot to learn. Bitcoin gave me a huge head-start but a scholar never stops to learn more.

BTC only taught me how to manage my budget
Checking through your posts history I discovered that most of your posts are in one line and without any efforts to make quality contributions,  rather you are just trying to increase your posts counts and activities.

AFAIK, I don't see post quality as one of the things which get users Perm band, Spamming and Plagiarism do that so easily. The only thing one usually get from posting trash is to remain unranked forever as their post can only give them activities and not merits.
But users can get a temp/signature ban if they are putting on signature and continuously posting trash.

My journey with Bitcoin didn't start here on the forum, but this forum opened my eyes and made me understand things about Bitcoin that I was never aware of in the first place. The title of this thread should have been "Bitcoin & Bitcointalk Forum Self-Rating," since most of us can't talk about our experiences without adding the part that the forum has played in them.

My involvement with Bitcoin, together with the knowledge I have acquired here on the forum, has allowed me to boldly say that my finances have increased more than I could ever imagine in a short time. I haven't really harvested Heavily from Bitcoin investment profit, but I have been earning more than double what my country calls a minimum monthly wage with the help of a signature campaign that is being paid with Bitcoin. In summary, I have benefited positively in a lot more ways from Bitcoin and this forum than I can say.

But also the same this posting habit won't take you anywhere since you will eventually get banned at some point due to low-quality posts and your history say it all,  but all together,  bitcoin has indeed helped us in financial budgeting since our mentality towards saving and spending have changed greatly through bitcoin.

What have become you financial life and status in the society and how have you managed your privacy using Bitcoin?

Well, I must say that Bitcoin has been amazing for me and only because of Bitcoin and this community I'm having a better life than I have ever expected. This forum as well as Bitcoin has totally changed my life by showing me the possible ways to earn money, I must say that I'm very thankful to this community and Bitcoin for everything that I currently have.

My financial life has been changed entirely after getting into Bitcoin, and I'm currently living a happy life without any financial issues. I know that I'm by no way a person who is rich, but because of Bitcoin and this forum I have found many good ways to earn enough money to enjoy my life without financial issues. I truly love Bitcoin and Bitcointalk, and I will love those forever because those two have really made my life a better life and I'm very thankful to them.

The versatility of the topic and the relevance of individuals' contributions and experience contributed to my leaving the topic for general discussion instead of self-moderated.
Self moderated topics simply means that the op acts as the moderator in the thread to delete spam, so creating a self moderated thread doesn't stop the thread from being open for discussion to everybody, except you create your own local rule that stops certain members from replying in your topic.
What have become you financial life and status in the society and how have you managed your privacy using Bitcoin?
My status hasn't changed at all, there's no way it was ever going to change because of BTC anyway, i am not an early adopter, neither do i have too much money to buy as much BTC's as i desire. BTC and the forum has helped me a lot in terms of privacy and security, i now value the fact that i can use a currency that is resistant to censorship and also permissionless, before BTC i never cared about where i gave out my data, but now i know the importance of keeping a private financial life and also staying private.

Definitely not the latter.

Financially speaking, I have become more educated. I don't hold any other asset, though. So, my portfolio's worth varies from time to time, according to the price of bitcoin. I wouldn't say bitcoin has taught me to be financially dependent; I think that's rather difficult, and can't come to you without lots of action. No, bitcoin holders from the early days aren't counted.

What I do acknowledge, though, is that bitcoin has given me the interest to study money. As a politically neutral currency, it raises you concerns of whether the financial system is working as envisioned, and pinpoints its flaws.

Before Bitcoin I was a humble middle class employees in India. I followed what everyone in my country did and was proud about it. Untill I found that everything the government said was a myth and everything to date is to make rich more rich and the poor to remain a poor.

The recent tax on our earning is the best example. Without any regulations the government went ahead and placed a tax on our earnings. These tax rules are not clear and are harsh. As the government is governed by burecrats these ministers are now being questioned. We will never achieve our full potential as the government has been only promoting.those who are in to software. They never thought about trading, social media promotion & etc. They are still in the old age and they will still be the same. Unless the government rethink.

First of all I want to say that this forum is very useful for all of us, because here we can learn a lot about bitcoin and other crypto and educate us to be more mature in doing or planning good things regarding all discussions or knowledge about this industry in this forum. And we would never get this forum before even in the real world, so this forum is a very valuable teacher.

and anyone who engages with bitcoin with this forum is sure to get a decent profit, thanks to the knowledge and good advice one gets on this forum.
and financially bitcoin is very helpful and can also change someone's life for the better than before. And the financial freedom that we get from bitcoin doesn't mean we have to use it often because in the future bitcoin is much more profitable and we have to be more efficient and also keep buying to cover what we used before so that in the future we still have lots of bitcoin.

The forum has improved my approach to saving and spending. Financial terms like long-term investment, Dollar Cost Average (DCA), Hodl, FUD, and others have made more meaning to me. The forum has instilled the attitude of longtime investments and the need to be patient and wait for your investment to mature. DCA average has made investing quite easy for me and my investment don't have so much impact on my finance. I have also been exposed to the concept of Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt and how institutions and influential individuals use it to manipulate the market, so I have learned bravery and focus. My taste or desire to invest in money-doubling schemes has been quenched by this forum.

Financially the forum has been good to me. My engagement in this forum has been fruitful financially. Regarding the change of social status, I am still that young man working quietly in the street of a developing nation. I have always kept the financial part of my life secret hence my social status is still the same. I have learned so much about privacy and security so I don't want to attract criminals to myself by telling people about my relationship with bitcoin and the forum. My phones and laptops have better security and I am more conscious about not using my phone in public spaces. I am also conscious now about clicking on links to avoid hacks and privacy invasion strategies.

At this state I'm still not a financially free even though I've been committed into bitcoin, I see bitcoin to some of my friend those are the one who teach and enlighten me about the things I need and I come up with the bitcointalk community members shows up the things I need to learn and to avoid to my path those experience came from different people makes me more aware about the bitcoin itself, still currently I'm building myself to the innovations and changes of the bitcoin, so for the upcoming halving and ATH I'm prepared and not getting FOMO for the situation. Keep learning and striving to learn more hoping this coming years I will immediately achieve the financial freedom I need.

First and foremost I would say thank you for signature campaign, maybe if I not joined a signature campaign, I will not have any Bitcoin until now. The reason is simple, when you want to try something new, you fear if you will do something wrong. However since I get paid in Bitcoin and just hold it, I feel the volatility of Bitcoin isn't a problem and I can deal with it.

Accumulating Bitcoin and hold it to make big profit in the future will make you think you will become rich, yeah you're rich but financially free is when you can still earn money without need to work. If you not have at least 100 Bitcoins, I don't think someone is financially free.

Getting to know bitcoin makes it attractive to invest. Getting to know bitcoin financially is very helpful.
As a country boy, getting to know bitcoin opens up more awareness of the world economic system.
By getting to know bitcoin makes a sense of affection to spend it [exchange to fiat].
Getting to know bitcoin made me know how fiat money works.

Getting to know bitcoin has a very positive impact. That's what I want to say.
Not using bitcoin as a get-rich-quick scheme but with bitcoin it's very "easy".
