It was meant to be a online payment system, not some trading instrument, and most of these people wrongly assume that they are trading Bitcoin.
They are not, they mostly trade leveraged CFD's and other derivatives which is usually contracts for difference and it does not even involve one real satoshi.
If it's really Bitcoin then their transactions will have to be visible on the blockchain and in that case its a one way ticket because it will only be 'going long' since you can not short coins on the blockchain so that should tell you something about the incompatibility of the 'currency' from a market's perspective, the blockchain makes all the difference here because every transaction get's logged 'eternally' and brokers can not avoid, or manipulate it.
It baffled me to find that very little people understand this and they claim that they are trading real bitcoins and when i tell them that they are not they get angry at me and try to convince me otherwise.
I never wanted it to evolve like this so i hope that it will soon become a boring investment so that we can focus and continue on making it the best payment system

I think your statement is filled with a bunch of conjecture. I don't think "many" people have bitcoin at all and I sure don't think that many have half of their portfolio invested inside bitcoin. That would be foolish, especially considering bitcoin is not an investment inherently.

I do not agree that Bitcoin will be a boring investment, because the price movement of Bitcoin is very volatile, so it is interesting to analyze.
And most importantly as long as investing in Bitcoin is still profitable, it won't be boring. Many interesting things to learn from Bitcoin, even
Satoshi Nakamoto as the creator of Bitcoin became an interesting and mysterious figure, and his identity is unknown. One more thing Bitcoin
is not yet known and owned by many people, so it hasn't become common thing.

I do not feel bored after because I can make money even if the trend of bitcoin is in bearish trend. For those who are bored in bitcoin investment, be careful because you can incur huge losses especially if you are really bored to study and improve your skills as a trader and investor.

You can gain Bitcoin even without having a financial capital and just your time. Every people should be open to new opportunities and don't rush to closing open doors.

If that person think about it (boring investment), yeah, his thinking differently from us. Why a lot of people jump into Bitcoin investment? It is probably because they saw its market potential, not a boring investment. We already saw how Bitcoin rallying in the market for $0 to $9k, it something to tell us how this form of investment will work in the future. Yes, we are not sure about it because of its volatility but not a thing to worried that it becomes out from the market and turns back to nothing.

Anyway, if you are thinking Bitcoin is a boring investment, then better to forget that you've been in crypto at once.

I think you mean if the people in this industry? Because if not, then you are completely wrong. Bitcoins aren't even mainstream yet how could it become boring? Even the people who are in this industry for years never said it bluntly as you did. It may be boring sometimes in the bear seasons but that only happens for people who only stack and never trade. And if that isn't enough, ll the bitcoins ns haven't been mined completely yet. So that just means it will take a lot of time before the supply gets fully mined. Seriously, most of the population in this industry alone have a hard time getting even a single bitcoin. I just don't understand why you think Bitcoin will soon become a boring investment.

I don't know why you're thinking that and I don't think that's likely to happen. The total supply of Bitcoin is a certain amount and its demand is constantly increasing day by day. More and more people are becoming aware of Bitcoin than ever before and are showing interest in investing in it. Moreover, as the market price of Bitcoin has always been volatile, traders are making a profit by trading in it and it has become a topic of attraction for investors at every moment. Boring in what sense? You merely speculated throughout this post of yours, and no tenable facts. Well, for your information, what gives a thing its value is scarcity in the face of demand. This is what gives Bitcoin the spice. So many people are chasing it, price will continue to spike. This isn't going to be boring in any way at all.

It looks like TS has to learn more about the bitcoin ecosystem and economic law. Conversely, if a product is increasingly known by the general public then it is very good for wider adoption.

To be honest, I would prefer that Bitcoin become a boring currency. Now it is at a fairly high price level.
If it was completely stable, many projects could more easily raise funds and enter the market, altcoins could receive free pricing and would no longer be dependent on bitcoin.
But it’s obvious that this can only happen if the price of bitcoin drops to 0.

That's correct, BTC is so volatile so it will always attract investors and the like. The fact that major cryptocurrencies like BTC and ETH have even been added to platforms like eToro used for regular investment in stock and shares, bonds etc just shows that crypto investment is becoming more popular or at least is attracting more curious people. How can people find investing into Bitcoin as a boring one when everyone is dreaming, wishing and wanting to earn or gain even just 1 Bitcoin into their portfolio because admit it or not, people treat it as a very valuable investment having Bitcoin in your portfolio. Even though Bitcoin is getting common and more popular on each day, still people are seeking ways to obtain Bitcoin because of its value.

Bitcoin investment will not become boring because people will just continue to gain and earn Bitcoin into the extent of what they can give just to have Bitcoin. The popularity or sense of being common of Bitcoin is not a threat on it instead it is a booster to rise up the price because as long as many people bid and want to obtain Bitcoin, it will live and remain active for a long period of time which clarifies that it will not be a boring investment.
