I want to believe what the OP consider boring as the long wait for profit in cryptocurrency, watching the slow growth in price sometimes. For almost all asset class bitcoin seem to create one of the shortest period to pick profit. Even in the bear some have made 5x when they pick at the bottom. Sticking with bitcoin reduces the risk in investment in cryptocurrency but doesnt mean no chance at all in altcoins.
I can't continue reading your post because in your first and 2nd sentence, is already a misleading and untrue. It shows how unknowledgeable you are in terms of cryptocurrency in general.

No logic at all, value still depends from demands and supplies, once there are usages that be addedand introduced, value will pumped high.
There are so many reason but this is mainly not because of the reason you have said.

Going with that sense, people have been investing in gold and stocks for years now. Have they become "boring"? Nope, they still are booming. Rather most seasoned traders prefer to stick to their familiar markets instead for their own. Everyday new traders are entering every market trying their luck or skills.So your idea of "boring" is false here.
People love security, even if it´s just a perceived one. Same goes for not wanting to go out the comfort zone. If Bitcoin becomes just as risky as a random blue chip, it might won´t move so erratic as it does in the past but more people will use it which in return is actually a good thing for the crypto movement. If it becomes "boring", it will help bring new people into cryptos and help fighting fiats and their manipulation by printers go brr .
If you want to bet on certain assets with much volatility and a high chance of making high gains (and losses), you can always trade penny stocks, random obscure altcoins or even go to Binary Options. The later are a guarantee that you lose your money though. No advise here!

I don't think so. Eventhough lots of people might enter or acquire bitcoin, it doesn't necessarily means that it will be a boring investment and might as well decrease the value in the market because as far as I know when the bitcoin faces a scarcity the value tends to be much higher than it is that is why investing in it will be interesting because you never know what price it will hold later on.

Maybe OP meant boring in a way that bitcoin does not feature new things real fast, I might be wrong though. Bitcoin offers so many things and with its further use, innovations are integrating bitcoin in their technology and I do not think that can be a boring thing because that is a stepping stone for the further advancement of bitcoin and blockchain technology.

It's no way that Bitcoin will become a boring investment, the fluctuations of the price gives a lot of opportunities for people to make profit, but I see the enthusiasm of Bitcoin is slowing down, I think this is the cause of alt coins, but Bitcoin still one of the most traded crypto
You are right that the main reason why Bitcoin price is not quick to rise just like the old times is because too many altcoins are already in the market with a good volume. OP is just to naive to consider that if BTC will distribute to all people then it will be stagnant since no one will want to own more which absurd. The main goal of BTC is for mass adoption and it is the exact thing that OP mention.
Imagine if everyone owns it. There will be scarcity in the supply which will result to a huge price fluctuation. I hate to see same as OP analysis especially when creating a thread without further research about it.

Investment or money making is never been considered as a boring thing and come to think that Bitcoin isnt really just for investment stuff but rather talks about its utility or usage and you should have put that in your mind.
People are just making it as an investment since they do saw that money making is possible when prices do move due to demand but overall this isnt solely created for profit making.I dont know where you do get that
boring thing because its unlikely for people to see it that way.There are factors which is indeed worth to mention when we do talk about threat for BTC but its an another topic to tackle on.

The more people adopt bitcoin, the more exciting investing in bitcoin will become. The only thing that will make bitcoin boring is persistent bear and volatile market and possibly when majority of the people abandon the use of bitcoin. The more people use bitcoin, the more freedom to financial services everyone will jave access to not to mention the possible investment opportunities

This will something to tell that and we are not even reaching half of the total population in just one country and it seems possible to the other especially those poor countries.

Bitcoin are never been boring because most of the people use this coin to make more investment and get a lot of market income if you do not appreciate the market volatile of this coin and becomes stable you can now freely stop using this if it won't give you any market profit still this is not a loss to the market because there are some people make a huge investment.

Bitcoin was never developed to be an investment, Satoshi Nakamoto created it to be used as a Currency. As you might know, some people use currencies as investments, like Forex trading and that is a lot more boring than trading in Crypto currencies, because other currencies have a lot less volatility.
It was designed to be a currency yet we are here making it as an investment, not because it is a new form from digital but because of its volatility. However I might disagree with bitcoin to be a boring investmentcoz as long as there is speculation towards bitcoin, as long as there are traders, as long as the price keeps moving from day to day it will never be a boring investment. Decentralization is what makes the bitcoin unique and great investment.
People should just use Bitcoin as a currency and see how much better it is to use online with pseudo anonymity. I just donated to a controversial cause and nobody knows who I am. (Other payment options blocked donations to this cause) 
lol you can just say that to them, " hey, use this instead of cash'' there' s no way you could easily make them jump with bitcoin. One thing is that cash is still more convenient than bitcoin or any cryptocurrency, as you see now there are just a few merchants that accepts crypto payments.

The movement of the market price of bitcoin in the past months? bull run etc. That's not even boring at all. Maybe since the market is sustained in 9k$ at this past month you are already calling it boring.
If the market price pumps again or even at ATH would you still call it boring?
