Bitcoin itself won't last forever. It will stay up until when all 21 million coins are mined. So yeah, but I am sure Bitcoin will stay on top of upto that only, as long as it's there because major investors and institutions have put more money in bitcoins than any other coins

If you think about it, Bitcoin is the King of all of it because everything is basically a FORK and main idea from BTC.

Even if it other cryptocurrencies are not forks, it was thought the same way as Bitcoin.
To work just as him, on a regular basis, pure network transactions, decentralized / centralized, using an address.

All of that makes that cryptocurrency tradeable but with different price from Bitcoin.
Not only that but all other currencies that followed BTC closely want to reuse his base technology for several new others.

See if you are calling Bitcoin a king on the basis of profits and price movement. Then yes, because Bitcoin has got that dominance and name that whenever any new trader comes in the crypto space, it prefers Bitcoin because of the associated trust. Also, the traders who have been into the space for a time now, prefer Bitcoin in case of bear market. This gives Bitcoin volume stability and hence outperforms the altcoins when it comes to bear market.

When it comes to feature actually there are so many coins that have better features than bitcoin, some of them have a faster confirmation, offering low fees, higher anonymity levels, and many more. But none of them can beat bitcoin at least until this point, I guess it's about originality and also people trust bitcoin more than those coins, that's why bitcoin still being the king of the crypto.

You cant compare Bitcoin with altcoins. If you see the popularity and adoption of bitcoin and the length of being a reality in the market, altcoins wont stand a chance against Bitcoin. There are coins which have potential and can be adopted in mass but it will be harder to beat the King.

if what you said is true about expensive price then why do you think the price still falls hard ? it should go up in the first place right ? . crypto being influencial will depend on who sponsored them or depends on thier backer ..

i see new cryptos on the past that became verry influencial despite that they are only new while other old cryptos dont shine like that because lack of support . aside from that , i agree that bitcoin is the parent of all cryptos because it all started with btc .

Let us think of the reason why Gold is still increasing its value despite of not having any upgrades, just pure metal, the same way as bitcoin, as long at it can preserve its function, despite of being slow in transaction speed, it will still dominate the market of investment as people see it comparable to Gold, which has the potential to provide allot of profits even in the next 20 years, One thing I am having doubt is when all miners already mine the remaining bitcoins, how could the transactions be processed. at the current rate of 196 billion usd marketcap, btc is holding 66.2% of that, this clearly tells that BTC is the king, and even if BTC drop its rate to 40% but still hold the number 1 spot, still its the king.

The last bull market was due to the bull run of BTC, if btc didn't achieve a new ATH that time, we would not see altcoins grow higher than BTC, so everything relies for BTC from before until now.
