The chart shows the movement in a fairly long time frame, so it makes it clear that the progress of the BTC movement is better than other altcoins. Even if the time frame is reduced, it will appear that there are some altcoins whose movements are more than BTC. Consider the following explanation.
Ripple in 2017 already overtook Bitcoin and there was no special miracle. The total capitalization of Ripple was $ 350 billion, and the value of Ripple was then $ 3.5. I advise you to conduct an economic analysis of trends in the cryptocurrency market.
However, bitcoin as the initiator of cryptocurrency has a very strong market capacity. In general, ordinary people assume that cryptocurrency is the only bitcoin, even though there are many types of altcoins that also have potential.

This chart is showing you the top 200 coins performance against bitcoin. It's clearly who is outperforming here. Bitcoin is the king of crypto. Alts got rekt specially when bitcoin made a move like Jagger on the 1st April. But that wasn't april's fools day! Or was it?

They say that a picture is worth a thousand words and it is true, the truth is that unless you invested in some of the most successful icos like ethereum the chances that you are going to get profits by holding altcoins long term is almost nonexistent, some altcoins can outperform bitcoin but only for a short while after that they lose their value and anyone holding those coins will lose their money, still many think the risk is worth it and keep investing in altcoins despite the evidence of their lack of performance.

Actually bitcoin is and will always be the number one cryptocurrency. It's not because it is better but I think its because it has the first mover advantage which has given it a pump in adoption. Most of the people know cryptocurrency just by the name of BTC. This is the reason why all other coins irrespective of their volume or market cap are called altcoins.

That's a pretty brutal chart. If you look at the top 10 coins against Bitcoin, you still see the clear path of devaluation of the coins that should be an alternative safe haven to Bitcoin, but there is just no such thing:

If the top 10 can't deliver, then the rest are just a mess, and fiat valuations don't matter due lack of liquidity.

I think this is really fascinating because once at the time of bull run we just thought that BTC dominance has vanished because it dropped until 35% but it has proved that it still is king of crypto.

Much evidence has been shown that from the first time Bitcoin was born until now, no coins can beat bitcoin. On the coin market looks the most bitcoin
dominant, also the volume of bitcoin is always a lot. And now the top 200 coins performance chart Bitcoin againts are another proof, showing that bitcoin is king of crypto. The results are clear that bitcoin is superior, even though other coins show good potential for the market but bitcoin will remain the most powerful.

No, Ripple (XRP) never overtook Bitcoin as the top cryptocurrency in the market, it would need a huge pump for that to happen. Ripple did overtake ETH as the second top crypto-currency though.

Overtook/overtake is a poor choice of words. XRP did surpass Bitcoin in market capitalization twice some time ago, but only when you calculate its value against the 100 billion XRP tokens in circulation, and not the 35 billion a lot of index sites use. This is the prime example of how tokens try to look bigger than they actually are.

This whole crypto market is a crock of shit with how people only pay attention to fake volumes and fake market caps. Try to dump $5 million worth of XRP on any liquid exchange. You'll manage to vanish 15-20% of its market cap if bots and algos on other exchanges follow through.

I'm not surprised with this comparison. Bitcoin is surely more stable even with future years than these altcoins which tends to follow a down trend. The market for altcoins is crowded, and altcoins have higher chance of failing than what the bitcoin already had done. But I believe that one day, there'll be an altcoin that would replace bitcoin, or another technology that would revolutionize and improve the crypto-industry. But not as of now, bitcoin remains solid and we're still in the early-mid stage of growth with the continuous adoption in different sectors.

Well, it is not surprising to see that chart. Bitcoin will always be the most dominant cryptocurrency available. It will take almost a miracle for some coin to overtake bitcoin. It is for the reason that being the first successful coin, people felt that it is bitcoin that is the more reliable coin. Also, companies and the likes had adopted bitcoin more than other coins.

It is the king of crypto has you have rightly highlighted above. Once Bitcoin is on the move, other alternatives coins get rekt. This will not be short-form being the one that paces the way for what we called digital currency today

We cannot this fact that most altcoins rely on Bitcoin, but not all, as we can see in CMC some altcoins are doing a nice trend or in stable despite the fact that Bitcoin's price is dropping. But, when we do have massive adaption we can see a good trend in every coin, depends how they are going to work out and market their coins, as some are aiming not to be affected by Bitcoin, that they can stand on their own.
Adoption hasn't always equaled certain price rises, seeing coins being accepted by major retailers is pretty commonplace now and rarely causes a huge change in the market.

I have heard that, if Bitcoin is king, ETH will be queen, which makes me think about the growth of these two coins. Bitcoin only reduces the ROI by about -x3 compared to the highest value. However, for ETH has decreased ROI -x7 compared to the highest value. I am not talking about altcoins, their declines are too great. This proves that BTC is always in the first place.

This diagram does not really show anything different  than what we already know about Bitcoin and its not even really clear. There is no doubt that bitcoin is the king of cryptocurrencies in all aspects.  In as much that some crypto coins are showing a lot of potentials in relation to their market volume and market cap, Bitcoin will always be the king and father..

Yes it is indeed true that ripple overtook Bitcoin last 2017 but did Ripple stay on top, Ripple I get is one strong altcoin and already proven that he can beat bitcoin if just enough support will be behind ripple but Bitcoin still get the upperhand in the long run making itself as the king and the number 1 again. So it's to need to argue on what is the king it will always be bitcoin.

It's not a new topic dude, We always observe that Bitcoin is the father of cryptocurrency because of most of the people know the first Bitcoin and then another cryptocurrency, not only that but also Bitcoin has introduced us this platform, In terms of price, it also takes the lead always, I think Bitcoin has got popular already around the world and it's going to be the biggest factor in the coming future, not only that but also Bitcoin is not comparable to another crypto because every cryptocurrency is created based on Bitcoin price, they are just following its footstep in every aspect, so Bitcoin is must be the king within this platform. it will take also lead to the conventional monetary world in the future for a lot of certain reasons.

Yes indeed Bitcoin is the king and father of all cryptocurrency. Bitcoin is the reason why there are existence of all other cryptocurrencies in the crypto space. Even if the market value of Bitcoin drops, its market cap and volume will also be superior among all the remaining crypto coins.
The reason remains as bitcoin is the first one who's been recognized by the community and whatever coins is just trying to achieved the same achievements that bitcoin ever have. Being the first crypto inside the space gathered the interest of most people to invest their money. By holding this coin the chance to
earned is much possible than trying some luck with alts which don't have any clear directions. Bitcoin will be there and continue to stay on top.

yeah, indeed from the beginning bitcoin was the top crypto currency. the main reason is Bitcoin as a pioneer of crypto currencies. secondly, Bitcoin is the most referring to altcoin. (in pairs) and altcoin growth is from the source code developed by crypto developers. so altcoin is under Bitcoin.

This is one such reason due to which when there is a sudden pump or dump in BTC price altcoins fall to hell. BTC stands as backbone. Cool
