It is already an international currency. People are using it instead of boring bank transfers to get their money across the globe.

Bitcoin is designed to be an international currency and it has all the criteria to be an international currency. I can't see why it won't be.

bitcoin is already considered to be the international currency, although I think this is not yet fully supported by some state or government. so that the function of bitcoin is still difficult to use as payment, because of the scarcity of stores that accept bitcoin.

It will take long time to happen especially in poor countries, entire world is not digital yet and I don't think it will be possible in future.

Yes you are right!

Francois Harris, founder Bitcoinzar, an information site for Bitcoin-users in South Africa, confirmed a small number of users all over the African continent.

"Real users the Bitcoin, which are used daily by Bitcoin network, and understand how the technology works, probably, they are less than 1,000 people.
The more smartphones and the wider the coverage of the Internet on the continent, the greater grows the potential cryptocurrency Bitcoin, because it means a large customer base. "

If bitcoin to be international currency, what do you think?
You can use it every where and anywhere, without exchange it.
And how to use transaction with it, if bitcoin just crypto currency?
How many people like with this thread?

I think Bitcoin is already international currency, you can see that most of the people of the different countries are using the bitcoins and also earning the bitcoins, in the different ways like investment or trading, so they exchange it, and transaction it. in this time, bitcoin is a Crypto currency, we exchange it into dollar and we use it anywhere and we have no problem in it. otherwise i like your thread but you third line i can't understand.
sorry, i know if bitcoin was international currency, i mean everyone doesn't knowed bitcoin as well. And third line mean is when everyone know bitcoin and use it, how to buy something? Is there need machine like atm or something else?
There will be no ATM machine if that will happen because we all go digital, all we need is a gadget like computers and smartphones and with internet to transact. Imagine how life become easy, I hope it will happen soon.

But some village doesn't support internet like in some place in my village. If impossible, it will need so longer time. And there is some people just trust with barter

In my opinion Bitcoin has to obtain a legal exchange rate in the Central Banks of every nation to become a worldwide cryptocurrency. Yes, it will still be a cryptocurrency. With the development of internet and world's globalization, all businesses from offline are going online and vice versa. Those businesses are interested in cross-border trading and Bitcoin can become a great way to fill that niche. If Bitcoin will be accepted in every online business (be that shops, casinos, service providers and etc.) it will become much easier for people across the world to cooperate on daily basis.

We, users of bitcoin I think, is already considering it as an international currency...But, if it will be legally accepted as an international currency anywhere, then, I think the use of it will be like those foreign currencies and being used locally, still needed exchanges...We all know that merchants might still prefer to be paid in their local currency, maybe due to the ease of use...But of course, I'll be glad even if it will work just like that, by that I could roam around the town without carrying much fiat in my pocket..

Yes indeed it can be called global currency because bitcoin is globally used by any nationalities in whole globe and it is like other currency it has trading site like forex and you can do whatever you want with bitcoin and i really see different races using and staking bitcoin hoping they can earn money although its not really known for all people but  it is slowly known and can be called rising star of currency in the world and it has a high chance to surpass fiat because of its achievements for todays

Bitcoin could be an international currency if enough countries started to see it and respect it as a major currency and something worth identifying as a valuable commodity.

It could be the reserve currency if enough countries wanted the USD gone and wanted to move towards something not controlled by anyone specifically. That day, if it ever comes around, though, it's still a far ways away and we won't see any legislature or movements happening related to that for a long time.
That is all it comes down to in my opinion. Is too have respect for it as a currency.

I wouldnt consider it a currency.

It can be viewed as a something like a carrier service though, just like how its servicing now in other countries for exchange.

More of a money service if anything else.
I had been introduce to it as a virtual currency so that is what I am going to view it as. Nothing will change me from viewing it that way.

The popularity of bitcoin is not too high, its limited to a certain extent so we cannot consider it as a international currency at a moment.

True, bitcoin is still unknown in different countries, need to start PR it, i don't know how cause it's still and also illegal in some countries. Hard situation.

Most developing countries are new to innovation and with that to bitcoin. Which is not really bad. just remember paypal is also new in many countries. To build a reputation you need time.
Time bitcoin is getting so there is no problem. Just be patient.
If they believe in bitcoin they will start to use it,we can advice them to give a try but never force them to use it.Even when some countries doesnt know bitcoin that wont make it international because of that, for me as long two or more person able to trade or deal with bitcoin its a transaction internacional.
Bitcoin need to be at every merchant as option ,and be mass adopter soo it can grow and become a currencie very active.

What is up with your question bro?

As far as I know, Bitcoin is already an international currency for each and every country on this planet  Grin
Yes, virtually already an international currency. But we can assume it so, only after many people around the world are using bitcoin for their day-to-day life. The higher volume and everywhere acceptance by many merchants would be the indicators for that.
