Bitcoin can be regarded as an international currency based on its coverage. I believe it is used globally even though it is not recognized by the authorities. My own country declared it illegal a few months ago. But they have now realized that it is gaining popularity and therefore they announced that they are planning to put up regulations on its use. Once this is done, I think it will be one of the few countries that will recognize bitcoin and accept it as legal tender

Bitcoin will become an international currency if all countries adopt the relevant laws. Bitcoin is to be adopted by the Government. If there is no support, it will not spread around the world
There's no law, and that makes bitcoin to be the best currency as we have freedom in using it. The fact that we can transact all over the world it already means that we are using a currency that has a feature of an international currency.
its already adopted by many country just like what we have here inside the forum i guess not everyone of us is part of just selected countries as long as there's a adoption coming from a country bitcoin will spread and will grow for sure.

Bitcoin now can be considered as an international currency. For him, there are no borders, religions and nations. It can be used regardless of any factors

You might be right. You can use the bitcoin to buy things from another country. That is international trade.

It is intermational currency since the begining, we can use it anywhere on the globe to buy something that accepts bitcoin as payment. Its making progress everyday.

Sure bitcoin has achieve those on the day more then one person from different countries has made a transaction between, but bitcoin isnt recognized as currencie from the countries, even when some big companies does accept already bitcoin, but lets give them time to follow and join crypto world.
Bitcoin is a currency every person accept it and every government accept it, the proof is that the governments does not charge any penalty for its use and they are neural for it the only thing due to which governments does not start it for their states is that bitcoin is not controllable by them.
Governments of the world may accept the existence of bitcoin but I think when we think of the word acceptance in the bitcoin community we are thinking on being able to spend or use or coins on a particular place so governments right now don’t accept bitcoins.

Once the government involved in bitcoins we will be expecting a lot of changes. Even if it's going to be good or not we must be ready for these changes. For now, let's enjoy the benefits of having a bitcoin.  Grin
Personally I don’t think we are going to see active development ion the government’s front, just a few laws here and there, what I think it will happen is the development by governments of their own coins.

If bitcoin to be international currency, what do you think?
You can use it every where and anywhere, without exchange it.
And how to use transaction with it, if bitcoin just crypto currency?
How many people like with this thread?

Bitcoin is already an international currency and is considered as one of the alternative payment system I think the reason why some people don't feel that it is an international currency is because it is not widely accepted.  As of now the number of merchants that accepts bitcoin is still selected and many people are still unaware of it.

But don't worry,  Bitcoin is still new and developing thats why the time will come when bitcoin will be widely accepted.

Yes, everyone know that bitcoin is an internation crpto currency, but still bitcoin is not achieve a popularity that every countries people know about it, but only for lack of publicity, But still i believe in the coming years bitcoin would be got it.
And it is right, bitcoin really help us, when ever we need transfer amount, and many many other ways where bitcoin helpful for us not only for earning wise.

Yeah we've all benefitted from bitcoin and i already consider it as an international currency as i've tried sending btc's to other countries. It may not be as widely used now as we'd like but definitely in time, it will be

hard to realize offline store not yet ready to have bitcoin as payment
even online store having a slow development to accept bitcoin
this is the reason why bitcoin far away from become international currency OFFICIALLY
but basically bitcoin have became an international currence as it's used globally around the world.
In some countries, some people have been using bitcoin for buying their stuffs and even using it on real life shops. The main point is adoption, which more people using it, then more shops will accept bitcoin as payment tool.

With its current status, I think Bitcoin is already an international currency. Well, I guess it is because it is now popular worldwide and merchants as well as investors are now taking a serious look at Bitcoin. Soon, this cryptocurrency can be as popular as the fiat money and can be used and accessed anywhere just like the plastic money we are using. The future is really good with Bitcoin and with it also other popular cryptos. Smiley

Well, bitcoin is without a doubt an international currency since it can be used  anywhere in the world you can move it around freely without worrying about national borders and is an extremely liquid currency, so I think it fits the definition.
I think so, wherever you are, in any country you are in, if they accept bitcoin or any internet connection in this place, then you can use bitcoin

so we are agree that bitcoin is already to be international currency for every people in every country but not yet for the legacy of bitcoin because there are still many country which not make statement about bitcoin. i hope bitcoin is more to be adopt by more people in future so bitcoin will be more growth again.
I think do not need a statement from a state that the society in their countries are already using bitcoin, when bitcoin already operating on the internet then it can be sure that bitcoin can be used wherever you are included in all countries, because the Internet can be accessed from all countries, so I think bitcoin has become an international currency
yeah today bitcoin can be used in every transaction especially in online transaction. But if you want to spend it on shops of real life, you need to obey government rules which most governments surely want their people to use fiat as official currency in the country. So, if you want to use bitcoin in real life, then the legacy of bitcoin is a must.

I am not in favor of the idea. Due to many reasons. Like how it is limited, Bitcoin that can be circulated virtually is up to 21,000,000 which at first is big but all of us 7 Billion plus sharing it would not be enough to be considered as a global currency.
Actually bitcoin being limited is a very good thing for us. Scarcity gives value. The more limited one thing is and the more demand that it has, the price will be higher. It's the basic supply and demand law. Not sure why would you want to have an unlimited amount of bitcoins. If it's like that, then bitcoin will probably have very low to no value at all.

Also another big thing is the lack of internet for some people in which Bitcoin transactions takes place.
That is their problem to deal with. If you can't afford to have an Internet connection, then you're probably broke even in fiat.
If bitcoin will be popular and people will be compel you use it then I guess internet and computer or any electronic device that can be use to access bitcoin will become a necessity then, I am afraid that time will come as for sure life would not be easy for the majority.

Hence, I am already contented on the current market we are standing now.

We must also consider that confirmation of transactions is long, the shortest I had is 45 minutes which is long if you are buying something from a store.
