Almost 1 year since this topic opened and the price of the bitcoin not down at what you expected because the lower value that bitcoin reached is only $3000 it is not good because more than 80 percent of the total highest price of yhe bitcoin already down but it still hope that I see because this time the market are stable and I think the next movement will up the value again and maybe your expectation will become 10 times for the next few months.
The collapse wasn't quite so drastic it turns out but it has trended down to the $3,000 range now and may take a little while to recover back to a more desirable level but it shouldn't be too long before it picks up again regardless of how much volatility there may be in other traditional markets globally

Me i betting NO because more and more people are aware of the great potentials of crypto and the adoption to crypto is still in good momentum
I think with just about 2 days to the end of 2018 we can actually say that most of the predictions were just well, "Predictions" where the people were hoping that what they predicted will come true and at least it also give some insight to we don't really know where the market will end up. We heard the Btc price hitting $50k and dropping as low as $1k but none of this happened. As at when writing this Btc is at $3,842.56 Binance and I believe will hover around here come 2019. Let's just hope the coming year holds better market prices for cryptos than this one.
It's funny to read such predictions. And there are still new ones. None of this comes true. These "predictors" do not care about their reputation at all.
I don't think so. Right now, bitcoin is a little below 3800$ and I think it will remain on that stage for the first month of 2019. Surely 2018 is one of the worst year for bitcoin and for crypto in general. Its one of the longest bear market I've experienced and until now, it shows no sign of uprising. I just hope and for sure everyone hopes that 2019 will be a good year for crypto.
Never could be lower price under $1,000 for bitcoin at this year, more impossible could make bitcoin drop price under $1,000. Maybe bitcoin under $4,000 and will be higher above $10,000 at the next year.

Woa, look at back your topic now, I see that those predictions are really exactly, Bitcoin's price has really fell to 3000 USD and may be reach 1000 USD. But I think no one at that time can think this is the truth
See prediction, some of you guys here are even more volatile and unstable than Bitcoin. If Bitcoin goes up a little bit, you guys will predict that it's going to reach 5000 and if it does the other, another swift prediction of gloomy price will comes up.

I am very happy that the OP’s prediction has not come true. Bitcoin reached a minimum price of $3,500 this year and did not reach $1,000. So what now? Is it already in the $1k barrier? I guess you did not see your expectations about Bitcoin price. Now it is around $4k and going strong to hopefully reach $5k by next year.

I also once thought that bitcoin would continue to fall but it turned out to stop at around 3000, the reason I said that it stopped was because now bitcoin is starting to stabilize and keep increasing, although it's still possible to fall again but I think the possibilities are very small

I agree because Bitcoin always bounce back every time it reach near $2000 so Bitcoin falling in $1000 this year will not happen since we have only a few days until the new year
Also we experience a green market recently which is a good sign that the bull market is coming. 
Base on BTC charts we are still on wave 3, the wave 5 will show livestock price this year. It can hit less 2k.
It is highly unlikely this will happen this year as Bitcoin is already rallying and experiencing intervals of price push. It wouldn't be long before it actually expriences a proper rebound setting it up for another fully effective price run. There is a strong indication that bitcoin will drop steeply but not to as low as 1000usd. Once this bear is over, it could set a tune for a proper appreciation of Bitcoin with some major events to come next year, it might just be the propelling force needed for a proper bullish run not just for bitcoin, but the entire market.
