Ok guys I woke up today and still same problem so I decided to say forget it and pay 30$ to have it accelerator at btc.com and believe it or not 20 mins later it was confirmed now the site I was trying to send it to I believe needs 2x confirms do I have to bow wait this process all over to just get 2 or no will the confirmations start coming in now
Once the transaction gets its first confirmation, the subsequent blocks mined would count as an additional transaction. Transactions are only included in a block once and every block after it is considered a confirmation.

Like I said earlier... it looks like it was just "Bad Timing"™ Undecided

I usually send with 1 sat/byte... when the market and the network are slightly less chaotic, it usually goes through in hours. A fee of 9.8 sats/byte would "normally" be 'next block' or very close to it... but sadly, things just ain't normal at the moment! Tongue

Generally, if I need a quick confirmation (actually a rare event), then I'll check https://jochen-hoenicke.de/queue/#0,24h see how busy the network is and then look at the bottom graph and see what fee rate is at 0.5MB from the tip... as I type this, it says around 100 sats/byte!!?! Shocked Shocked Shocked

It should be noted that even doing that is no guarantee... if you get caught in a massive flood of new transactions paying really high fees... or it takes miners a while to find a block, even starting at the 0.5MB fee level might not be enough to get in the next block.

However, generally, I'm not in a hurry and can wait days if necessary... so I just go with 1 sat/byte and go find other things to do while waiting for it to confirm Tongue Wink

Damn last night it was down to like 15000 unconfirmed transactions  and said eta like 5 blocks 50 minutes now this thing has skyrocketed 80,000 unconfirmed at this point I think I'm going to never get this confirmed if the bitcoin price doesn't have another surge so you guys think it will be confirmed like late tonight I am not trying to pay 30$ for that viabtc accelerator  and the other btc accelerator  is just as high if not higher I only got around 15$ to get it confirmed can someone find me a miner what about kano I heard he's good.

don't worry bitcoin price is stabilizing for now which means it is time for all those who bought bitcoin to withdraw their coins from exchanges but the network traffic will shrink again soon. but FWIW the number of unconfirmed transactions is not important. the only important thing to look at them in groups categorized by the amount of fee/byte they pay and based on their "size".
for example the number of unconfrimed transactions could be 100k but 99.9k of them could be paying 1 satoshi/byte and paying anything higher than that like 2 could be high priority.
or we could have 16000 txs but they could take a very small size (61 bytes) and take up only 1 block.

Thanks for the info so mine still has yet to confirm It seems as the network is starting to die down it says there are around 49000  txs so that's not important on blockchair it says I'm 29918/49365 priority so damn I guess my fee rate is low low low I had did the transaction before all this price surge so I'm thinking it was normal at the time then literally minutes later the crap surged it's not that low right 9.8sat I believe

My tx I'd is 988dcada5983cc002d7ea3b3c9f291078d6a5029e230fe942f291ec1b7ed5a32

I can see the transaction is still pending.

Keep in mind that whenever there is big price movement, Network congestion always happens.

In that case its always better to decide recommended fee before doing transaction

For example: https://bitcoinfees.earn.com/
However, You should wait a bit.  After a while your transaction will start getting confirmation. I got mine at 10 sat/byte confirmed after 6 hours

Yes next time I definitely  am going to check on the fees but I did it at like 8am yesterday morning right before that surge price literally like minutes before you say yours confirmed in 6hrs? At 10 I think mines at 9.7 sat and it's been well over 25hrs it seems like last night it was getting down to like lower miner fees were being taken up but i guess early this morning when ppl were waking up there was a lot of transaction that took place because there was like 18000 unconfirmed txs now it's way back up there so in your opinion its better to just wait it out and so you believe it'll be confirmed in another 24hrs if the rush starts to die down

You could try the services section, like this thread:

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/freepay-bitcoin-transaction-accelerator-5034315

I've never used it, but it looks like others have.

Kano pool is one of the smallest pool around, they only mined a block in the past few months. You're better off just waiting if you're asking them.

We've given you all the possible solutions and it's up to you whether you want to choose either of them. If you want to find someone else, chances are, you would get scammed. $15 is probably not worth the time for most of the miners, if you want your transaction to be confirmed the soonest, either of the 2 sites being suggested is your solution.

Oops. Seems to require a https on that one. Working fine for me with it.
https://pushtx.btc.com.
Ahhh... the old "don't automatically redirect to HTTPS but just spit out a nonfunctional page website" design fail! Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

I hate sites that are configured like this... it's like websites that freak out when you just put "name.com" instead of "www.name.com" Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

pushtx.btc.com is an alternative and they might be cheaper.
Unfortunately, this also seems to be defunct... I'm getting a blank page on that one. Undecided

The only thing left to do is wait patiently, on a side note I was able to submit it to the Antpool too:
I don't think the Antpool accelerator has been functional for months (years?) now... It will happily list your transaction in the "Accelerated Transactions" column after you submit it, but the transaction never seems to get included in Antpool blocks. Undecided

Sadly for the OP, the mempool has ballooned back out to over 55k transactions again... it's going to be a long wait. Undecided

Does anyone know how to tag macbook-air or coolseekers moderators I read that they could help me mine my transaction but they don't accept message from newbies it says I don't have but about 15 bucks to send them or else I would just do the viabtc accelerator thing but they want 35$ it seems like it's going to take forever at waiting the eta goes from 80 mins to 60 mins back to 80
Both of them have access to F2Pool which allows them to insert the transaction into the block that F2Pool is mining so either of them would work. I wouldn't bother with contacting either of them; it's more of a hassle than just paying one of the sites right now and there's no guarantees that it would be any cheaper given the current situation.

pushtx.btc.com is an alternative and they might be cheaper.

One last question what the antpool and thanks again
Antpool is a mining pool. By submitting the transaction to that site, they're telling the pool to help to prioritise the transaction in the block that they're mining. Antpool will then include your transaction into a block that they're trying to solve now. If and only if they manage to find a block, your transaction would likely to be confirmed in their block. If not, nothing changes.

Thanks guys I appreciate everyone's help and input I guess my only suitable option is to stick around and wait and next time pay attention to the fees or just pay extra fee I mean I am willing to pay like 10 to 15 bucks to accelerate but the via bitc site the paid service that is wants like 30 bucks that's a bit high for only a 300$ transaction also yes thanks for the person who also tried to put it in the free via bitc too I did it as well said fee too low thanks guys it seems like everything is slowing down earlier today there was 45000+ unconfirmed now down to 20000 hopefully I get confirmed within like 12 hrs

Hey everyone earlier this morning I tried to send around 345$ somewhere it's been about 12 hours and it still isn't confirmed at all I checked out a couple sites and they are saying my fee is very low that it's going to take awhile but I used electrum and just did the normal 5block fee option here is the I'd 988dcada5983cc002d7ea3b3c9f291078d6a5029e230fe942f291ec1b7ed5a32
I sent it without replacement on electrum so I don't believe I can resend it with a higher fee rate also the address I sent to is a one time address so I don't want to take the risk I've put it into a free transaction accelerator and it said it was sent to 10 bitcoin nodes relisted or something  what is the advice and when do you guys honestly think it's going to confirm is my fee very very low that its just being passed up? Maybe because the network is so busy right now please someone enlighten. Me

Take a look here:

https://mempool.space/tx/988dcada5983cc002d7ea3b3c9f291078d6a5029e230fe942f291ec1b7ed5a32

ETA   ~60 minutes (6 blocks) <-------- Very low fee @ $0.29, you'll be able to see the status of the blocks.

The Blockchain is very busy lately:

Unconfirmed transactions: 20,141 (at the time of this post).

The only thing left to do is wait patiently, on a side note I was able to submit it to the Antpool too:

please don't recommend this site to anyone ever, it is just so terrible. they inflate the fees by up to 100% just because they want to always be correct with the value they report. basically they take the minimum fee for a high priority transaction and add a certain percentage to it and report that as "fastest and cheapest".
got example right now the reported value is 48 satoshi/byte whereas the absolute minimum is 23 which makes their reported value about 2x higher!
worse case scenario if you want to be safest you pay 30 which puts you at 0.2 MB and is still a lot lower than 48.

see the chart at the bottom of this page (total size not total count): https://jochen-hoenicke.de/queue/#0,24h

Thanks where can I see the current priority fee is there a live ticker
You can use Electrum (since that's your client) but select "mempool" in the settings.

"Tools->Preferences->'Fees' tab", in the "Fee estimation" drop-down menu, select "mempool".
Then go to 'send' tab and slide the fee slider until you see the "1.0 MB from tip" fee or lower, that's the priority.

BTW, the post above is useful if you want to see the graph.
