You transfer funds to the escrow.
escrow confirm, and command seller to send you bitcoin.
seller send you bitcoin, you tell to escrow that you received bitcoin.

You do that via any exchange or localbitcoins, where you buy/sell BTC for FIAT with other people (localbitcoins offers escrow so transactions there are secure). I wouldn't recommend selling Bitcoin using Skrill, Neteller, PayPal or any other ewallet since transactions there can be reversed and you might find yourself getting scammed. If you want to sell to another member of the forum, be sure to check their trust rating.
