Well, why weren't governments stepping in when ISIS was using the US Dollar or oil to fund their operations?

I wouldn't take those threats too seriously, governments have a way of going back on their word once they figuree out they too can make money doing something.

I don't think that facts are needed for that, what you're posting is a senseless analysis. Like for this one, how can you blame bitcoin for ISIS terrorism? They might have used bitcoin to purchase bombs but they are also using fiats right so what is the sense of posting it here in this forum?

So if you really want to stop terrorism you should start by banning:
the internet, money, cars, firearms, food, cellphones, drones, clothes and don't forget the most important thing, ban people!!!!

Regulation of Bitcoin will not stop terrorism, even if ISIS has bitcoin they still need to convert it to fiat in order for them to spend it elsewhere or if they are using it to purchase munitions then it is not the fault of the coin, what should be regulated is the manufacturer of those things not something that is used to purchase it.

I have merely pointed out very real and very factual issues with Bitcoin that will have a significant impact on the valuation of the coin. All those issues are shown to be real - no-one in here have been able to logically argue against them.
