I think it will hit 1000-1199

I agree with some people here that the bitcoin resistance will be at $600 - $799. I do believe that bitcoin is able to reach over $1000 next year but that won't be the resistance level. I think for it to be at a resistance at $1000, it should reach it a couple of times before that. Just like right now, bitcoin is not reaching $500 just yet, last week bitcoin was very close to reaching $500 once again this year and then the price went down.

I think that the halving alone won't push us to $1k price. That is not enough. In case the halving is accompanied by some important developments, then yes. First opportunity is the blockchain workshop in February 2016. Let's see if we get some help from there. Otherwise my price target is $500-600 for 2016.

For the next year i speculate that the beginning will be somewhere $500 - $600 and maybe after the halving and at the end of the year somewhere to $800

The price won't rise 300% before an hour to halving ,but instead it gets in effect months before.Right now the price is just below the profit mark for miners after halving and maybe it will never rise again cause mining is not a guaranteed profit.

Yeah. I did as well. I truely believe that Bitcoin will rise over $1000. With halving around the corner, the price will be going up soon.

That’s right Its decreasing from last 4 days. I am wishing bitcoin to go atleast 550$ but going to down face nowadays is not a good symbol for bitcoin price. I have to many commitment after 3 months. I need sell bitcoin fiat on that time. If its go high only I can do that.

I will choose 600-799 for 2016 and i hope that the price fluctuate will raise above 600.
I will pray for it and stay holding some of my bitcoins..
But for i see that the price is gradually decreasing and theres a possibility that the price will back to normal price around 340-370.

I agree with you here. In order to build up resistance, the price would have to touched that resistance a couple of times already and going down again.
With what you're saying I completely agree and I believe that this is going to happen as well.
So my vote goes to $600 - $799

I think the new resistance will be between $600 - $799.

I do believe bitcoin can reach a new ATH though but I don't think it will stay there for long.

Bitcoin hasn't really been up there yet to be at a resistance of $1000+

I spec that it goes to 1200 to 1500 dollar. The problem with that it won't be stable it that high amount.
So I am just fine if the new bottom of bitcoin will just be 500 dollars or something. We will see what well happen.

well the main thing that will happen with bitcoins in year 2016 is bitcoin halving it will surely have a huge impact on the price i hope that the price will go up a lot and that it will make me rich

 

I think it will stabalize between $400-$550. The future of bitcoin, at least my future of bitcoin, will be for sure the overall spread of it in all the world. And for sure its use from most of them which will know it. That mean big demand which will be increased in time. And hopefully big price. At least theoretically. The problem is if this use and this demand will be legit and exist and accepted in the light of the Sun or it will be in the black market and in the "darkness" of the black market. Everything will depend from the approach which will have all the countries of the world in confront of bitcoin. Especially the mos developed or important ones.

If they will be hostile with it then the black market will flourish. The most significant example is Russia. To many knows that bitcoin is banned there. Even, that have proposal from one member of Government to put in jail who use bitcoin. But yet the bitcoin black market there flourish every day more. If this happen in one developed country as it is Russia, everyone can imagine what can happen at the other ones which are less developed compared to it and with Authorities less effective.

If the countries (or at least the most developed and important ones) will regulate bitcoin then everything will be ok for everyone (country included). The most significant example is USA when bitcoin is regulated and flourish hundred and hundred bitcoin businesses which create employment, money for everyone involved with those (Authorities included which have its taxes) and freedom to act and to accumulate for them who use it.

Bitcoiners, especially in this forum, tend to exaggerate and overestimate the real value of the Bitcoin.
The question is, how many will get really disappointed when their hyper-predictions won't meet the reality.

It is possible Bitcoins will reach more than $1.2k for sure next year, but that ain't a guarantee that it will be stable and stop there, as the range where I see the probability of stability of BTC will be ~$600 - $800...

The value of bitcoin in 2016 will never know what will happen. I just believe that we can reach 1500 dollars.
Then it will just be around 800 or 900 dollars I just don't spect that high amount that it will be stable.

I have also voted for 1200+. Actually I believe it will increase to 2-2.5 k USD just beore 1-2 months before the halving. Then it will be stabilized around 1-1.2 k USD.

It will still play bitween 350-450 at the least but it may not go over 600 in the comings months but maybe it will when chinese new year hits.

I think bitcoin is able to reach at least $1000 again next year but I don't think that will be the new resistance.
After bitcoin has touched $1000 I think it will come down again to between $600 - $800 as a resistance.
