Numbered char will take a longer time having a larger difficulty than alphabets. For instance, 1Teddy or 1teddy would be much easier to find than 1Teddy5145 and you might get the former ones via donations.

I thought after calculation it will generate a whole set of new keys which cannot be used by anybody except me. Also that public key will not be a vanity one like 1bump, just a random wallet. Am I correct?

If you combine the above key with another private key you will get a different address, yes. It is very unlikely that it would have a meaningful prefix.
