Since you seem to know well about Bitcoin I would say invest if you understand everything. Also, if you don't know me, don't invest in crypto, it can be risky for you. Since your father provides a good amount of money every month for your family, it would be better if you save some money from it and invest it in a good fund. Also, you need to understand that the Bitcoin market has a lot of volatility and you need to be patient when investing in Bitcoin. And many times when there is volatility in the market then you can fall into the losers but you should not be emotional then you have to control your emotions. If you understand all the strategies well then invest and if you are not experienced or have good communication skills then avoid investing. I think it will be good since your family asked for some gold and bank deposits and saw the good side of it. And if your family advises to invest in Bitcoin and they ask to invest then you invest in Bitcoin. Your parents don't trust a little virtual currency so you have to patiently convince them for a few more days. But if they don't understand then definitely don't invest with their money but invest with your savings. Since you are related to Bitcoin and have good experience with Bitcoin it is always better to invest your own money.

I will say that none of these three investments are bad, each has its own special worth. For example, if we talk about gold, it is acceptable almost everywhere in the world, plus the volatility in its price is low. And it has been used for ages and its prize is always going up. And the difference between Gold and Bitcoin is that it is a digital cryptocurrency which has become very popular nowadays as well as a medium to earn good profits. Although it has a side of risk and that is it is highly volatile coin, profit can be earned by investing here but you need to have enough knowledge in that case. On the other hand, I would say that buying land is also a good way to secure your funds because as far as I have seen land prices never go down. But you should think about the future and then invest here because there may be risks here because where you are buying the land is what is the natural location of these things. So the decision is your what you can effort and also what you wanna do now.

All 3 are good and potential investments but most people will choose bitcoin. The reason is simply because it is more volatile and has a higher chance of generating returns than the other two assets. Those who deliberately say that gold and real estate are not worth investing in are people who do not have the money to invest in them, they hope that their little capital combined with bitcoin can generate big profits for them. I know bitcoin has many other useful features but profit is the top reason when people compare and choose 1 out of 3.

One that has been around and recognized for thousands of years and one that has only been around for 14 years and is still limited in popularity. So is that comparison fair for bitcoin? Furthermore, low capitalization does not mean that it is inferior to gold, but also shows the great potential of bitcoin and we should not ignore that. But its low capitalization also means it will have greater risk than gold.
Risk now is smaller than a few years ago for Bitcoin. It has been becoming stronger with time and after each year, through each halving cycle, Bitcoin becomes stronger and get more adoption.

The point is with small market cap, Bitcoin is more vulnerable to manipulations and it has more volatility so that if people do wrong trades, take too high risk with leverages, futures, they will be more easily killed by whales' manipulations and exchange liquidations.

Quote
There is no benefit in comparing the two, if you are willing to take risks for high returns then choose bitcoin. If you have become too rich and you need a safe and low-volatility asset, gold is the choice.
It depends on your view. Comparison always has its points and we always need comparisons to keep our thinking as neutral as possible. Without comparisons, we will tend to see a thing is too good or too bad without opposite review.

Investing in bitcoin is good, but not at all time. You have to know exactly when you are making the investment, and the situation of things, to avoid loosing part or all your investment. If it is convincing someone of the positive investment in bitcoin, that is not a guarantee, as anything can happen. For me, anything investment has to be on the basis of personal decision of the person concerned to avoid blame or bad outcome.

Right now I want your important advice on how to convince them.

Basically investing in Bitcoin has high risks. If you use family money then you increase the risk of the investment you make. Just imagine if you fail or lose in your investment, the impact you will get is losing money and maybe your family relationships will become bad. One of the things that can make you lose when investing in Bitcoin is if you sell Bitcoin because of a sudden need and the price of Bitcoin is cheap at that time, but if you plan to hold it for a long time, you will most likely make a profit

However, you need to consider many things because you plan to invest using family money. Maybe it will be safer if you invest in gold. If you have your own money, you can invest in bitcoin. I am not suggesting anything to you, the decision is yours alone

My parents thought that bitcoins that cannot be seen or touched cannot be an asset. They think that investing in physical assets such as gold, bank deposits, land etc. is more profitable than Bitcoin. But even after I convinced them, they are not ready to invest in Bitcoin. They don't want to believe in virtual currency.

Your parents said this because they don't know much about this bitcoin or cryptocurrency, so I would say first of all they need to know about it. Moreover, I personally think another thing is that it is always not necessary to earn profit by only investing money.
Because there is a different way, you can develop any skill within yourself, later you can earn through that skill. The reason I say that is because running a family with the 400 that comes for your family initially I think this market is going to be tough. Among them Bitcoin is a highly volatile coin, by investing here you can't get profit immediately but it is normal, before investing you have to take strategy for long time. Because short time trading requires learning a lot like technical analysis. So I would say if you want to do bitcoin investment then carry DCA method for a long term strategy to invest. Because if a large fund invests in bitcoins and needs an emergency period, then it is possible that your investment is facing losses as a result.

OP, what @Marvell1 said is true and needed anytime, anywhere and it will be strong evidence and a powerful weapon to get nod from anyone. Regarding what you asked above, I think everyone likes the three of them and especially BTC where Bitcoin continues to grow in terms of adoption, becoming more real and stronger from day to day, even though the volatility is quite good, it will continue to decline in recent times.

All option such as Bitcoin, gold and land are valuable in the future and better for investing our money in third option, its the same don't put egg on one basket because has potential when getting loss all our investing will be loss. I don't think bad ideas when investing our assets in land or gold and not only focus with Bitcoin, its not fault when investing in bitcoin but for getting lower risk in the future when bitcoin price drop we have other investment kinds between gold or land have more profitable or valuable price in the future. You can see progress up of gold or land actually when have good location with land investment, price up drastically few years later and there are not reduce of values when investing in land, we can build up there real estate and get more valuable in the future.

Don't put or invest your money in one investment kinds only, separated on several investment kinds who more profitable in the future such as gold and land.

Right now I want your important advice on how to convince them.
Bitcoin valuable
Gold valuable
Land/property valuable.
Bitcoin, gold and real estate are all very valuable investments, so it depends on your willingness and risk appetite to decide which one to invest in. But my advice would be don't invest all your money on one particular one. If you want to invest exclusively then you will divide your monthly budget into categories like 50%, 30%, 20% etc. You will not only invest in Bitcoin but also in gold and physical property. Gold and physical property especially land deposits are as valuable as Bitcoin and in the future they can also give you more profit than Bitcoin.
Also, if your family guardians forbid you to invest on Bitcoin, you can convince them. If they refuse to invest even after you convince them, then you should refrain from investing in Bitcoin. You invest where family members ask you to invest and it is your responsibility to protect your family relationships.
I agree with you.But since investing in real estate requires a lot of funds. So a person can invest in both Bitcoin and Gold if he wants. Since investing in Bitcoin is risky and investing in gold is much safer, it would be better to invest a little more amount in gold and keep the rest of the investment budget in Bitcoin. This is my personal advice but as investing is a personal matter of a person so I will not force him to invest using my strategy he can invest anywhere based on his personal decision. But he must note that he should never invest in only one thing. If he makes this mistake, he may have to accept many bad experiences

All of them are good, but each has pros and cons. Bitcoin for now is extremely volatile compared to gold and land.
Yeah these assets are good, but in terms of security I think Gold and Land are the best for sure. Since Bitcoin is so volatile, you can't just sell it for the price you want it to sell it for, unlike Gold and Land.

The land is also difficult if you have little capital to buy, and the hassle of getting proper documents to be able to own land under your name is difficult.
In my country, it is sooo hard to process documents for the land, not unless you know someone from the office then it's quite easy, but for some ordinary people with no connections at all, it'll take years to get your papers done.

Bitcoin is still new so we still don't know what will happen in the coming years in Bitcoin especially since some governments are against it.
Gold if you own it physically, you will have a hard time storing it physically but there are already a lot of ways to own gold online now.
Bitcoin is more of inconsistent asset, lucky if you got in time to sell it during bull run hence you'll be waiting for quite some time to be appreciated. We know where is the direction of Bitcoin is going, it is just inconsistent with its pattern especially if more and more institutions gets involve with owning Bitcoin.

I got into Bitcoin as a college student though I am not involved in earning yet but I have a lot of interest in Bitcoin and I am planning to hold Bitcoin. My father is a Malaysian expatriate. He receives a salary of $500 per month and sends $400 per month to support my family. I collect all the money from my father's salary and spend it for family support. Recently I have made a plan to invest a certain part of my father's salary remittance in Bitcoin but in this case I don't understand whether it should be invested in Bitcoin. I paid attention to invest in bitcoin seeing the popularity and future importance of bitcoin but my father and mother from my family have no knowledge of bitcoin so they keep persuading me to invest in bitcoin.
Since you are practically in charge of the funds, I will suggest you draw up a monthly DCA of $50 to $100 from the money and see how the rest of the money can be used to run the family. You can show your your family where a portion of the money is going so they are relaxed and convinced you are not misusing the funds.

Probably when you graduate and get a nice job, you can increase the investment as well as the support for the family. In addition, you learn one of the digital skills that can earn you morning even while you are still in the school. In that way, you will have a cash flow that will enable you feel comfortable investing in Bitcoin.

My parents thought that bitcoins that cannot be seen or touched cannot be an asset. If you are having a hard time convincing them, I will suggest you give them a break as they have not seen reason to invest in Bitcoin. Alternatively, you can invest in Bitcoin while keeping them in the loop so that when they see the results, that will speak louder than voice.

Tell them Bitcoins are like gold but in Digital form only. To be more precise tell them Bitcoins are like digital gold. The investment procedure is same as of Digital gold. But why you should invest in Bitcoins is due to the decentralised nature of the coin. You will completely own the Bitcoins under you, and you don’t have to pay unnecessary taxes for the holdings. Moreover Bitcoins have grown at very high rate if you compare with gold. So definitely Bitcoins should be prioritised more than Gold when it comes about investments.

Well, I think this is the best way to explain Bitcoin to them by just comparing them to gold. Cause for sure even in the past, many people are already aware on how gold system works especially that you can invest into them. By just telling them that it's like gold, then they could have an idea that Bitcoin can be use as investment. The only problem is, some wouldn't trust the internet, which is pretty normal since there's a lot of cases where there's a scam, hacks and stealing. Just tell them both sides of the Bitcoin and let's not be biased, we all know that despite the benefits like decentralization, there's still risk involved. Cause they would like to invest or risk their funds into something they could see physically.

Even if you explain it hundreds of times, they will never believe in bitcoin, simply because their knowledge is limited and they are too familiar with gold, while bitcoin is still too new and unfamiliar to them. There is no better explanation or comparison than showing them proof of what you gain by investing in bitcoin. If you just talk and talk, no one will believe you.

But if it were me, I would respect my parents' decision and would find a way to invest with my own money. If we think bitcoin is good, let's prove it instead of explaining it.

The wisest thing for you to do is teach them about bitcoin, because it is very natural that they are afraid to invest in bitcoin because they previously did not believe in bitcoin as a long-term investment.

The average parent in any part of the world is like that, they prefer to invest in what can be seen with the naked eye, such as land and gold. So, your job is only to educate parents first, then leave it to them to make their choice. Actually, your parents and your dreams both have good goals, it's just that the lack of education for your parents makes them doubtful about Bitcoin.

My advice is that it is better for you to follow your parent's wishes to invest in gold. They are more familiar with gold than Bitcoin so you do what they want. But you can still explain to them about the benefits of investing in Bitcoin, especially in this technological era.

You cannot force your desire to invest in Bitcoin on them. After all, they are your parents and you receive money from your father's salary, which concerns your family's daily living needs. So you have to do priority things first before other things.

Moreover, if you later work for yourself and receive a salary, you can invest in Bitcoin without disturbing your family's finances. Wouldn't that be better because you can prepare for your future? And when you start investing in Bitcoin, you can show your parents the benefits you receive from Bitcoin. Maybe it can open their minds about Bitcoin.

My advice to you is don't convince your parents to invest in anything because it's their hard-earned money. Let them decide what to do with that money, besides, you are just a student and have no investment experience. You are not fit to give investment advice to anyone.

Bitcoin is indeed a potential investment compared to gold and land, but if they don't like it, don't force them to invest in something they don't like. If possible, it would be better to use your own money.

What answer did you expect? Of course, you should go with Bitcoin! Keep in mind that you asked this question in a Bitcoin forum, so naturally, the responses here will lean towards supporting Bitcoin. Nobody is likely to advise choosing land or gold because we're here because we believe in Bitcoin, unless, of course, someone is a spy trying to gather information to create FUD.

I think it's essential to use the following tools to analyze your decision carefully. At least, when you make a choice, you can say that you've based it on real figures and not just followed blindly.

So, here are the tools to check:
