Well JAPAN has legally adopted Bitcoin and China is in love with LITECOIN so you might have a nice surge in both of them as more and more people are coming into the digital currency space and many do like to hold more than Bitcoin in their portfolios. By 2019 we might see us all travelling to MARS if we get mass adoption for both, but I prefer the Pleiades star system myself.  Grin
I think most the chines also interested in bitcoin. if china is going to legalize a online currency, I am hopeful that they will also legalize bitcoin and only then they will be thinking about any other altcoin to turn it as legal currency or not.

This is all just guessing; here is mine: I don't expect either of those targets to be hit. Comparing the two cryptocoins, my guess is LTC will outperform BTC over the next two years.

It's all just a prediction could be one better to other, but it all depends the market as well

Sound. Fury. Signifying.
If the current trend continues, it'll be LTC $150.

If BTC can ever settle on a scaling solution, then LTC will go back to its dormant state, sitting in waiting for bitcoin to fuck things up in some new way.

Both predictions are optimistic and probably non of this two predictions will come true in 2 years from now. Don`t get me wrong I have some litecoins and I would love ltc to cost much more then now, but its impossible. I would be satisfied if ltc come to 30-40 dollars in next couple years.
Btc is something else, but I wonder how OP find this 7500 dollars, from where? Like someone said that price in two years can be just some pump, and after few minutes of that price we can expect big crash.

I will ask a very straight forward and simple question.

By 2019 (exactly 2 years from today). What is more likely ?

Bitcoin @ $7,500 per coin

Or

Litecoin @ $150 per coin

P.S. Offer an explanation for your choices too.
P.S.S. One of these 2 predictions WILL come to fruition.

imo i do not see any of them coming true because $7500 per bitcoin would not last a day and would spark many hodlers to dump all their coins and buy cheap btc when prices are dragged back down

and as for litecoin which has been around for quite a long time, has failed to convince investors to support the alt but as seen a few pumps of late.

$7500 dollars in two years time from now for BTC is quite an ambitious prediction Smiley also for litecoin its an ambitious too as there are  less development I think for this altcoin. But litecoin has more room for growth. This has a follower already.

But since Op wants us to choose one, I would choose Bitcoin $7500 Smiley. Well if that happens, I can sell my BTC happily.

I really think that neither will happen. I believe that BTC will continue to gain more media attention, will become even more popular, but I don't think that will break trough the $5000 level.
LTC, if don't show more than is doing right now (functionality wise), won't have much more room to have more value than today. I think that is more a question if LTC will bring more to the game than everything else.
If bitcoin will run segwit successfully and LN will deliver all the promises without unexpected fuck ups bitcoin can break 5000 and even 50000, since real world usage in retail without 1 hour confirmations finally became possible. Litecoin, as only fairly launched coin, with adoption of bitcoin segwit and related software can have untraceable transactions, can process more volume, can do atomic swaps with bitcoin without centralized exchanges, gain some huge slice of bitcoin volume, etc.
It's really depends on blockstream and their software so much, if segwit fuck ups as BU guys tell us both coins can be doomed into oblivion, since SegWit is more like irreversible update. If bitcoin will not adapt SegWit for years and blockstream developers will move to Litecoin it will be funny and litecoin can even surpass bitcoin in capitalization.

Here's my prediction:

Within 2 years, ATH for bitcoin will exceed $7,500.

Within 2 years, Litecoin will trade below $10.

Why?  Litecoin is an also ran.  It offers nothing of value over bitcoin.  Sure litecoin is a well run coin, gotta give them props for that, but it's not innovating... and the bitcoin space is already covered by bitcoin.

Ethereum, with all its problems, is at least trying to offer something different.

All lite coin offered was non-asic mining, and that has gone away.

It's looking like LTC will activate SegWit, which means they'll have Lightning!

BTC likely won't because there are two opposing camps that will never come to an agreement on how to scale.

Once LTC has something of unique value it will provide a huge boost in price, which is something miners, whales and blockstream ALL want. It will provide fast, cheap transactions on a coin with good reputation and liquidity in the top 10.

LTC will correct back to $4.5 to $5 before April (within 48hrs).
Then IF and only IF segwit activates. I am guessing we will see the MOON (i.e : $70 to $110)
IF segwit is not adopted, then we will hover under $7 until CHARLIE LEE thinks of something to "add" to the LTC protocol.
Thanks for your reply i will wait till this issue of segwit get resolve.

I think the priority will be more for the litecoin that is $150 per litecoin.  I am saying this because in the bitcoin we are seeing that the current condition is directly saying that the bitcoin is no more limited to 21 millions , so here no more chances for the bitcoin to increase the price but here the litecoin has limit to generate for particular .
Do I think probability for the lite coin is more than for the bitcoin , that is regardless that bitcoin is king of the all other coins and altcoins .

Now if we have to answer one or the either I would say neither. If we are going to talk which one would be closer to your estimates I  think bitcoin would be. Litecoin was the big deal once upon a time.

Gold of bitcoin to silver of litecoin, but now we can see litecoin has been passed by couple of coins mainly by eth, so that means Litecoin is not peoples choice of silver. It won’t go as big as you think it will. However bitcoin is another subject, 7.500 is a lot of rise in the price, I think it will definitely rise from what is today but not that much.

Coinbase needs to start supporting LTC for any price movement to happen for ltc
ltc used to be #2, but it has slipped away.. https://www.coingecko.com/en i would ofcourse want it back up  Cry

The fact that coinbase applied and received the first license for Litecoin of any exchange in New York indicates they definitely are interested in supporting LTC. Litecoin can now be traded on GDAX in NY as a result. If this translates into improved volume LTC being available on Coinbase is just a matter of time.
