LTC was popular in 2013, maybe a bit in 2014. After that, it's importance died, being one of the first bitcoin clones can't help for so long. There's no room for public cryptocurrencies that aim to become payment system in the game right now, not even bitcoin reached mainstream adoption after 8 years.

I will ask a very straight forward and simple question.

By 2019 (exactly 2 years from today). What is more likely ?

Bitcoin @ $7,500 per coin

Or

Litecoin @ $150 per coin

P.S. Offer an explanation for your choices too.
P.S.S. One of these 2 predictions WILL come to fruition.

I guess $150 for ltc is more realistic. Litecoin is a 'btc clone'. But it's one of the first ones. And if we speak about casinos, it's among the most popular altcoins. People have been talking about the death of litecoin for years but it is still on the stage and I believe it will have better times than it has now, because at least there are no major security isssues with it and it is protected from inflation.

I think above factor of bitcoin is more right to say because here in the internet world every newbie who want and is entering is only due to the name of the bitcoin . So here use of bitcoin is more than use of litecoin , and it is also a truth that litecoin is a altcoin and most of the altcoins are like the children in front of the bitcoin , so it may be possible that both of should have the same difference in the year 2019 with increase in the price .

I doubt both of the prediction will come true, 7500$ is too high for bitcoin to achieve in 2 years, if your prediction about 3000$ then it is still possible, for litecoin I don't think it will happened, there are no great price movement from lite coin since last year and no great news that it is going to invest by some big company, litecoin will stay stable like now in the next 2 years

Bitcoin will not be $7500 in 2 years unless something happens that can speed up the process of adoption. we can not predict that part but it will still be adopted and more people will invest in it because it is the ONLY trusted cryptocurrency with no bullshit and no bug and no premine. that is why i predict a price around $2500 to $3000 in 2 years.

litecoin however is still small and an altcoin. it will rise as it is the only altcoin i know which has real usage and people are actually using it as a currency in very small scale. it is being developed and the developers are in fact good not just some random guy pushing useless code like 90% of the altcoins.
again it is hard to predict, i expect if litecoin activates SegWit it can literary go to the moon. as in rise up to $100 in a couple of months and if not it can still grow. in two years i expect at least $10-$50 specially because all other useless junk has disappeared by then.

BTC falling to $200 would completly destroy the "store of value" notion. And not to forget the build up back to a new ATH would take 5 years at least, if ever at all.
So im guessing Litecoin is the better bet ?

Well, one thing you got right so far. Yes, bitcoin and litecoin will most likely compete eachother for a top 10spot in market cap in few months. About prices per coin, ltc will probably  be between 3-4$, and bitcoin <200$ when the civil war betwen BU and core will escalate.
