I got a recommendation from one of my friends, there's an APP called CONNECT. I've tried some days and I like it.

No. Spread it onto multiple devices. Optimally you'd hold the wallet with the most amount of money on an offline machine.

Electrum for desktop wallet and Electrum for phone wallet if you have an Android, not yet released for iOS. Electrum is a desktop wallet and is more secure then online web wallets. Same applies for it when you have it in your phone, it's perfect for mobility without you missing out a single deal.

That is all you will need as a beginner to intermediate user, once you become an advanced user only a hardware wallet is good to use without having to worry about anything regarding security.

If you're looking for something easy, I recommend the Blockchain wallet, but no online wallet is ideal and anyone could steal your Bitcoin if there's a security compromise in their system.
Otherwise, you could try a hardware wallet like Trezor, or a more secure than online wallet like Electrum which is sort of a mixed wallet.

Electrum (for Windows desktop) or Mycellium (for Android) may be a good choice, since from what i've read they are offline wallet (correct me if i'm wrong). However, there is a synchronization process that takes place when updating your BTC in your wallet and when having a transaction, so does Electrum or Mycellium be considered safe (I'm planning on using Electrum)? I'm just curios since i'm also a newbie here and i want my wallet to be secured.

At present, there two types of bitcoin wallet options you can choose. 1. Online & 2. Offline
If we're talking about security, safest and most recommended bitcoin wallet options to keep some bitcoins for secure bitcoin storage were paper or hardware wallet. This will much more recommended than any other online wallet.
For you the best option is blockchain.info, you will have the control of your coins but remember activate all the security measures to stay safe. If you are very paranoid with security you will can buy a hardware wallet later and transfer your bitcoins there.
Yes blockchain is much safer when compared to other wallets but you need to make sure you remember your credentials or else you will lose access to your bitcoins and also it depends on the amount of bitcoin you have to store if it is huge then the best way is going for hardware wallet rather that digital wallet if you want to be on safer end. But in general blockchain is very safe and i use coinbase because of it's user friendly feature without compromising on the level of security.

It will not be the safest thing on Earth, please keep that in mind, so keep only some change you need with you and not the big bucks.

1. If "with you" means a laptop, I'd say Electrum. It helps you set the fees easily. It's as safe as your laptop is.
2. There's Electrum or Mycellium for Android, if you have android phone. I guess that there are wallets for iPhone too, but I don't know. Keep in mind that smartphones tend to be less safe than computers.
3. Online wallet. Keeping money in other's hands is not the best option, but it's there. Keep in mind that online businesses are now and then "hacked". Keep in mind that there's a lot of phishing at least for blockchain.info wallet. Keep in mind that some online wallets (Xapo) and the exchange wallets may not send the transaction exactly in the same minute you want, which may be important if you buy things with Bitcoin.

"Real money"? What is Bitcoin then, "fake money"? You do realize that your precious Philippine trash currency is backed by thin air?

If you own large amounts of bitcoins and you want to store them safely while continuing in using them on a daily basis then I suggest Ledger Nano S as a hardware wallets otherwise you should go with Electrum (Desktop wallets) as It doesn't require downloading blockchain and It's lightweight .

i recommend core, the best for me, you can download the blockchain once and then do good with prune to 4GB or higher to have the possibility to use more than one wallet in a certain time frame

I downloaded blockchain once and it's not friendly used here. It's running very slow.
