Bitcoin is already said to be banned in both of these countries from the government level. But the government has not done any real crackdown except from stopping banks and exchanges from trading it. One of the reason is they just can't. Bitcoin is hard to track and a waste of tax money unless they comes to banking channel.

There's no ban! Either most of you can't read or you're trolling. Even all those articles that you're quoting are saying it and you keep repeating it in your own way ignoring the facts.

Quote
Anybody in India dealing in cryptocurrencies will be sent to jail for 10 years, says a proposal in the draft of Banning of Cryptocurrency and Regulation of Official Digital Currency Bill

It's a proposal. There were proposals like this in the EU, the US, Japan and Korea. None of these proposals got approved in these countries. What makes you think that it will go through in India?

Didnt know this well known bollywood star there started a bitcoin company. Embarrassed
Have to check and see what it is was all about before the ban happened and what will happen to his companies customers will have to do now. Undecided

10-year jail for buying, selling cryptocurrency in India: Report Selling, buying and/or mining cryptocurrencies will be considered a non-bailable offence, according to the new bill.

No friend. I meant what the bitcoin company was which Amitabh Bachchan created not about the ban itself. Embarrassed
Something about him owning a part of Ziddu.com which is a blockchain research company. Smiley
While checking about the company found that cashcoin was part of another bollywood by the name of Shahbaz Khan over his involvement in a cryptocurrency scam.

So, cryptocurrency is banned in India, but do you think Indian people will stop using Bitcoin? No way! A lot of people took cryptocurrency as their income source. In India, millions of people are jobless, they do online earning things to lead their life! They are enough smart to use VPN and other secret deal. Though I am not suggesting these things, but I saw people, even some of my Bangladeshi friends do these things to use Bitcoin! For your kind information, most of the big miners live in China! China banned ICO, STO, and other investment materials, not cryptocurrency! So, your opinion is worthless here! Bitcoin is not dependent on these two countries!

no way. actually one of the main characteristics of bitcoin is to be resistant to government bans.
they can make the trade complicated but won't stop it.

in India maybe yes but in China only the ico were banned not the bitcoins and then i don't think that this will influence the bitcoin value in the rest of the world, maybe there will be a slight decrease but only for a short time...

Nothing bad will happen to Bitcoin even if more countries ban it. It seems that in Russia, all the activities connected with the cryptocurrencies can be also illegal soon, but it will not affect crypto in the whole world.

Make your decision. If Bitcoin gets banned people will lose all their people in Bitcoin. $7000 will be $0.
You know what, If bitcoin will have a chance to get in 0$ for sure the users of it is just a few. Bitcoin will never reach that value even though that country will banned bitcoin. It's just the country after all, if you really love crypto you will make way like using VPN. Even big funding coutries banned bitcoin it will never reach 0$ that's for sure. decimals are countless.

I wouldn't really say that it would be trash or junk after being ban in 2 big countries.
Have you seen the effect when the FUD hits the market due to the fake news about China banning Bitcoin but the truth was they only ban ICO.
But even if 2 Big Countries ban it don't you think that the whole world is already aware of Bitcoin surely the market would crash but it wouldn't end there the Bitcoin would surely survive and make it's way to get high again.

this is bad news.  the decision of the Chinese and Indian governments will make BTC's popularity fall.  I know that China and India have different reasons when they ban BTC.  but i believe.  Crypto users will have many ways to make BTC legal.  maybe demonstrations can make the Indian government change their decisions.
The value of bitcoin is directly proportional to its popularity and the legitimacy is still there in other major countries in the world such as the EU, G7 ... They will still help bitcoin become popular and growing stronger in value. I think that agreeing and supporting bitcoin is still everywhere in the world. It does not affect the bitcoin value as you think.

Bitcoin will never be banned worldwide. I believe it is an experiment started by the banking elite, or possibly some disenchanted employees, and it is now being embraced by them as a major asset.
I must agreed on this mate

Banking elites are the most haters of cryptocurrency (well I guess I don’t need to mention that since it’s obvious)they will do anything to spread fud and negativity to bring this community down

But suddenly even how hard they do,yet bitcoin is continuously growing and they cannot stop this

For OP better to wait another long for th finalization will be on yours, but for now?just keep your mouth shut

Bitcoin got banned in India and China so Bitcoin is worthless in these 2 countries. People of India will lose $10,000 or $100,000 if they do not get buyers in other countries at $7000.

But who will buy 1 Bitcoin for $7000 ??  Grin  Insider's Information for Gold and Silver

Bollywood superstar "Amitabh Bachchan" earned multi-million dollars by starting a Bitcoin company.

India? wtf
this country does not have a big role in cryptocurrency
but china yes, because most bitcoin hashs are owned by Chinese miners
so if bitcoin is banned by China goverment of course this will have an impact on bitcoin/cryptocurrency
but india? are you kidding me??
Yes,  they aren't big but they contribute something into the community in bringing crypto into their country.  Though they aren't that big but its still a lose of crypto.

But China will surely give a huge impact into the market, might we be able to see huge decrease if they'll be banning crypto. They announce it before(banning) but somehow their people are still taking a part of this making a way to hold back crypto into moving up again.

China is the biggest country and has the biggest population, there is no doubt that it is a big loss if the government will fully ban crypto currencies.

In India, I am not yet sure if the bill has been approved that fully banned the use of crypto currency in their country. But bitcoin is still alive and kicking even if the two countries are absent right now, that means that bitcoin has been spread widely already and there is a very less chance that it can be stop in the future.

This is somewhat new for me. Please share some relevant information reference. I have never heard of Amitabh Bachchan is in this space.
In India, bitcoin isn't banned. If it was, people would have got trouble to exchange. Banks are not assisting Indian in this field.

Bitcoin has never been worth $0 not even when it was being traded by just a few thousand people around the world back in the early days. Even without Bitcoin being listed on an exchange it at least had some form monetary value.

We're at a point where if countries ban Bitcoin, it will more than ever stimulate peer to peer transactions, and governments are aware of that. Instead of being stupid enough to ban it, they'll try to find a mid-way 'solution' which is to regulate the market.

The fact that you don't seem to understand that shows you little you know about Bitcoin or the state of the whole movement/ecosystem.

Op was trying  hard to scare few members around. Veteran traders and investors know that there are much more whale traders from China from the rest of the world combined. And I don't get why people always mislead others like this India proposal to ban bitcoin issue but the context that they spread seems like its already decided. I think China and India will stay in the crypto space for a long time and this is just one of the small bumps on their path.

What are you even saying, was btc legalized in India before? if it wasn't, then how do you ban what was not legalize? people in India already get involve in btc even without the consent of their government, even if they decide to make the ban official am sure people will still find a way to get involve so don't get your hopes up of buying cheap btc and wipe that grin off your face because btc ain't going no where, if you want to buy btc at $1 then try go back to 2009 maybe you will be lucky Grin

Bitcoin was never banned in China. Domestic ICOs and exchange businesses were. There is still a robust OTC market there. Weekly Localbitcoins volume alone is in the 30 million CNY range. Not to mention the mining industry.

Some Indian legislators have proposed a bill. Nothing has happened yet.

Bear season or just the beginning
The two countries are indeed very large because they have a very large number of users. surely this will have a major impact on the development of bitcoin globally, but I still believe that bitcoin can show its existence well. Bitcoin is very much influenced by how people perceive bitcoin. so as long as we continue to put positive pressure on bitcoin and the development of digital currencies will improve.

India have many bitcoin holders but not much whales. The Chinese have the most whales but they don't care much on their government restrictions since many Chinese millionaires have other country cintizenships or probably have businesses and assets worldwide.
