I think that in 2020 the volatility will be very different from today.
The fact that there will be more people and shops accepting the currency will give more stability to the price.

If bitcoin network reaches a increased user profile around 25% from the current number of users bitcoin has the possibility to give a stable price by 2020.
i still dont think that it will be possible to achieve great stability in bitcoins because all the time there will be pumps and dumps
We cant predict anything, anything may happen within four years, I think even if it see pumps and dumps the price will be good than now satisfying user expectations.

Clueless!

Well the way my life works, it will go something like this.

It's 2020 and I'm looking at my 100 btc worth xxxx $$$.

Craig Wright who claims to be Satoshi says he will have access to the 'supposed' BTC Trust.

With my luck it will be true and he will dump his probably at that time 1 Billon $$$ of BTC and

Also as he has stated implimented now that he proved he is Satoshi his 400 patents on BTC thru

his 'supposed' institution is accumulating as I type here.

FML. Just scared the crap out of myself. Sad

I do not know if the Bitcoin is going to be stable in 2020 I think so but not for a long time, every year the price is stable for some time.
So I do think that it is going to be stable for a little bit.

In 2020, the market capitalization of the bitcoin can be just $500 billion, it is still too small to be stable.

The bitcoin will be stable soon or later but I do not think its gonna be stable in that year due to the fact of a halving.
Most likely there will occur another halving in that year, every 4 years its happening mostly.

I also think that it will not be stable in that year, it will not come to stability until all of the bitcoins are not mined and until every person of the world do not adopt it for their use. after when this mining and adoption happen the price will reach to a highest value and will remain there forever with slight stability.

2020 seems a long time ahead, but still I don't think we will see stability. The whales have a big role in the price and they won't let it go so easily.

The price is someday going to be stable again that is just how it goes with Bitcoin but we never know when the price is going to be stable.
I do not like it when the price is stable for to long because that means just more waiting.

The bitcoin price is already quite stable compared to 3 years ago. I think it will be more stable in the future.

while i agree that the current volatility is much lower/weaker compared to how it was years ago, i must also say that the higher the price will go, the less stable the price will be. especially when firm holder keep holding the coins that they bought at current prices till the price is around $1000-$2000 in the far future. buy support will decrease while whales get bigger and bigger.

If bitcoin continues to become more mainstream in use, then the price should keep rising and will be more stable (fewer large fluctuations). Hopefully by 2020 that will be the case. I think it is already becoming more stable now.

If we need a large  daily volume, there must be parity among convertible currencies.Still, there will be a problem. Will there be enough amount of BTC for speculators?

The bitcoin price in 2020 could be $10,000 each, so the market cap could be around $170 billion, more difficult to manipulate.

Tbhe price of the bitcoin will never be sttable and that is only better because otherwise i think there are not very many people want to invest into the bitcoin anymore just because
the price wont be higher then he was before. So there will be allot of people dumping their coins and that will mean the end of bitcoin.

I do not think so. There were lots of dump in the bitcoin in the last 7 years. The bitcoin price dropped from $1200 to 200, but it is still recovering.

i think you are right that bitcoin will be stable one day, i hope this will happen as soon as possible and we will not be losing our money because of wild fluctuations really soon as im fed up with it
I think Bitcoin will be on an upward trend for the rest of it's lifespan, at least until the overall decline of everything if that happens at some point. It all depends on the future of Bitcoin and how everything turns out.

The fluctuations are temporary, and so far everything has been going well overall. Aside from the drop from $1,000, Bitcoin has actually been a heavily investment for the past year and a half, probably two years no I guess. The average is going up a large majority of the time.
