I think bitcoin will long last because in our universe, there is many users, so it's impossible that Bitcoin will die. Bitcoin has a big help to us in our financial needs and can provide our daily needs. Bitcoin will have a many test to face in the future, but it will not go down. No one can stop this site.

I am worried it’s dying already.

The network status, I mean confirmation time, if no confirmation means no BTC.

What can you do with a BTC in your wallet if you can’t send it?

Anybody did a transaction recently and got a confirmation?

There were several controversial statements prevailing around the community based on the growth happening between bitcoin as well bitcoin cash. This is all because of the miners support gain as well the growth which is to take place according to the systematic development. Nothing to fear about the same. Maybe to reach $10000 it might take time, but the price surely increases.

of course not. The price of bitcoin mostly as of now depends on the law of supply and demand and we can all say that bitcoin is the most used cryptocurrency as of today and that alone is enough to make it stable for a very long time.
The cryptocurrency market has no rules restricting the freedom of speculators. This leads to the fact that they can easily undermine the situation. The demand is only affected for a long period. Immediate price fluctuations do not depend on demand. The volatility of cryptocurrencies will always be. For such conditions we need to adapt then it will not interfere.

Hello,

Looking at graphs from fork.lol (https://fork.lol/pow/hashrate) website, Bitcoin cash hashrate just doubled vs the Bitcoin core. It is currently at over 65% of total hashrate and growing...
This is very concerning because it will be very hard or even impossible to confirm transactions if this keeps going at this rate and more miners will switch to Bitcoin cash.
You might say that there will be 400% difficulty increase in BCH and all miners will switch back, but keep in mind there will be a fork tomorrow to fix just that.

So... I start wondering if this will be the end of bitcoin as we know it?

Seriously? is there a fork coming our way? But well, this is beginning to become a dirty game now, which I won't be surprised at all because the greedy players are getting inside every noob's head. Honestly, if the community won't sell BTC, everything is under our control.

A big and dirty game is going on by the sharks and we are just trying to guess what may be the reason. But we don't have any clue. With the recent price increase of BCH, I expected that many miners will move to mining BCH as the difficulty is low compared to bitcoin and the price is also skyrocketing. So many people get to earn some good amount of money till the time difficulty is manageable. However, I don't think bitcoin will die in any way. It is just having some difficult time and we all have to survive it together. The current bitcoin price looks tempting to me for buying more but I just want to wait and watch for some more time to properly understand the trend.

We used to call them whales, but they're the sharks now. They take huge risks and they will be rich at the end. We only watch the market. To me, it's not a permanent thing. They do this to make their BCH argument much stronger. That's all for this week's action.

that was the thing that we are gonna do as of now but i dont even know that bitcoin will die this is just temporary and everything will be back soon we know that such a huge of pumping happen now in BCH , i may take the opportunity now to have some bitcoin but not totally because we cant say what will happen next after this happening of BCH and bitcoin.
Jihan Wu and his company Bitmain were trying to play the big game for switching to bitcoin cash mining.
There were over $700 million transactions stuck for hours on bitcoin network waiting to be processed as a result of that, but don't worry everything will be over soon.

My position stays the same at this point - bitcoin will not die, everything is going to it's mass adoption and acceptance, so there are no talks about it's death. Yes, the price is dropping, but all of hat is just a speculators games, don't be hooked on it and don't panic Wink 10000$ per BTC by the end of the year!

Some people were asking about the downfall of bitcoins or desth of bitcoins as per my own opinion there is a possibility that the bitcoins will die but as of now it would take alongbperiod of time for it to die.

I think you are wrong for that, Bitcoin will never die, because if you experience something like this with Bitcoin do not worry, because this is only temporary and just an investor game, so in my opinion bitcoin will show the highest point in December or January. . 2018, so let's see how Bitcoin works for the future.

You can consider that you have the answer to your worries as in fact, the fork didn't happen.

Still, you can claim that further fork may happen in the future.

But actually, this is the way btc is. Constantly changing, evolving, offering new "forms" of itself...

I think that we are still far from using all the technical appliances possible to mine btc. Just leave it some time to get started and further forks shall not worry you!  Wink

i dont think so ... because no one can predict that because bitcoin have an own life the life of bitcoin is on supply and demand so if some one buy a bitcoin mean bitcoin is alive

Supply and demand are gold for trade, but what will be the demand for less? Bitcoin was so strong against the manipulations that his confidence was shaken by the manipulations.

the dying of bitcoin will not draw in my mind. if you see the history of it everytime its fluctuating and every time the price is dropping low many of them were panic and they used it to sell. but others regret it . bitcoin have many problem was encountered and its always survive. as of now the bitcoin is number one among all the cryptos taht was really have an expensive value and its have faster transaction so i dont think that bitoinc will die and i hope that someday bitcoin was a mainstream

Miners move to where it is profitable. BTC will be more profitable for them again at some point, so they will abandon BCH. This is a temporary thing, do not worry about it.

BTC is back on top btw. BCH was artificially pumped and was therefore doomed to fail.

Bitcoin life is as long there is someone to mine it and include transactions in mined blocks for confirmation.
If 90%+ of miners move to another coin like BCH in this case, I see only cloudy days even maybe end of it *hopefully not*.

We have now 177k unconfirmed transactions and growing by the minute...

Put simply, bitcoin can't die. Perhaps speculators are no longer seeing potential in a further price rise for now, and hence profit taking has started applying selling pressure. However, bitcoin doesn't cease to be a useful utility with quite a bit of demand from real users backing it up. Even if the price falls a great deal that doesn't mean that bitcoin would die.

Well I will give you a clue, Chinese! This is a big and dirty game, you are right about that! What they doing is moving the money and hash power from bitcoin to bitcoin cash, now that slows down transactions making them more expensive and that is a long term trouble if mining power continue to fall down.
https://www.coindesk.com/confusion-euphoria-bitcoin-cash-30-billion-2000/amp/
Look at the names in this article, Chinese are creators of this and they are making huge attack on bitcoin, they did awesome move with joining miners and companies and they are very serious in pushing this trough. What can we do, what is smart to do? I really don't know.
