This isn't going to happen.  There won't be an ATH run up until after the halving, if ever.  Sorry moon kids.  Cry

Come one man!
Nobody knows what will happen.
Therefore your negativity makes no sense.
Or are doing this on purpose because you hope the opposite will happen? Wink
You know like some kind of superstition. Cheesy

You're right, nobody knows for sure, but my opinion is that we won't be seeing a new ATH until after the halving, if ever.

I have been following Bitcoin since late 2011 and was a miner through the first halving, and that's the experience I have in forming my opinion.   I'd like to be wrong, but I'd bet a BTC or two that I'm not.

i would love to see this happening in two years but i am afraid for reaching 3000-4000 USD bitcoin needs a lot more investors and a lot more adoption. but $1000-1500 is more realistic at this point.

Bitcoin price rise will occur before halving in my opinion.Miners need to stay profitable.I see a spike to $1500-$2000 by halving then a collapse to $800.A steady rise back to $1500 by end of year. It will hit $4k in 2017.
It will not happen. If it does then it will be just a bubble that will eventually pop and just drop back to a more realistic price.
We need more time and more investors for bitcoin to reach that price

very difficult to explain. bitcoin is very good in the internet, but I think it's still too soon to bitcoin up to $ 3000 to $ 4000 in one year. indeed in the world there is no word impossible, but in my opinion the highest price to be achieved in 2017 is $ 1,500 for a single bitcoin, but I hope it will really happen, because I am also going to get a lot of profit from it

That could happen. The $4k price for each bitcoin is not high if a small pension fund invest in bitcoin.

If the bitcoin price is around $4000. The total market cap is about $80 billion. It is very small for many pension funds to invest.

We all hope the same occur, in the start when I heard about the halving and read more about it, I got the same idea and expectation about the price of bitcoin but after that when i read some people posts here, I started to run on the idea that it is not possible to reach up to $2000, so have a hope yet.

Damn then I should maybe hurry and buy a few more coins as long as they are that ridiculous cheap! Cheesy

What's the reason other than it being a swell idea? I can't think of much.

The same speculation like year earlier and the price reached not the high most expected. I think we will keep the same price between 380 and 450 most of time. Sometimes we will see pump and dump but we will always go back to the same price.

basically 2013-2015 all over again?

spike to 2k-->collapse to 800 = 60% decrease(not equal to the almost 80% decrese from 1200 to 200 but still...) and again a return to the main

i'm not a fan of predicting the same pattern of the past, but we weill see
