I had a friend who held his coins from 2012 upto now. He had about 25kBTC from mining and doing heavy programming services from back then. He forgot about it since 2013 and I only reminded him about a few months ago and he's probably going to hold it out even further until maybe the value reaches $800.
Yes bitcoin is best tech out there to be used as payment processor as well as blockchain tech behind bitcoin can be implemented in many other field. Even big banks have now started researching about blockchain tech.
Bitcointalk is an entire community dedicated to early adopters who are addicted to finances and technology. We've seen pricing go from $50 to $650 since 2012. I agree we should be proud and at the same time be humble
. It was a great opportunity to those early adopters and so they believed in this coin and now they are one of the wealthy elites. Though maybe bitcoin is at a high price by now, there is no knowing how much it will on the nexxt 5 years. Yup, we indeed should be proud because we are including of one of the lucky people in wearing the latest technology that is very beneficial to our lives that always use the internet.

We feel the same way, I was active in many different Forum before and I read about Bitcoin. Of course I did some research, I read negative and positive things about Bitcoin, I chose to just wait because that time the payment system I used was shut down which is Liberty reserve, so I stop from doing online business, then here it is, I am here again because we can't deny the fact that Bitcoin is so popular right now, that's why I am here, learning about Bitcoin and exchanging ideas and knowledge. 
Yeah i'm proud to be a bitcoiner, i'm not an early adopter but wish i could be one. i think i first heard of bitcoin when it was 120$-150$, i didn't invest back then now feel like a fool lol.
Everyone should be proud to see the importance of bitcoin way before the average person. This makes us all pioneers and we will be compensated by history because pioneers always win, but of course, a lot of people will not have the patience to hold and will sell, this will make them suicidal in 10 years once they realize their mistake. Unfortunately, not everyone can make it.
Hmm, seems this is very interesting to do. However I saw an excellent pioneer that will get the award. So we just as the encourager and support for the activities of the bitcoin anywhere. Although we don't get compensation from one of the pioneers, at least we get a tremendous advantage in the future.
Of course yes, bitcoiners should be proud because we know the potential of bitcoin in the future. Shame to the others that are saying bitcoin is a fake or scam. They will regret what they've said to us after some years. Let's just laugh at them inside from our self. Let's show them what really bitcoin is.
Well, I first heard about bitcoins in 2013 I suppose. The price was very high at that time, probably around $900 or more. Anyways, Bitcoin was and is still an amazing idea. Sir satoshi was truly a genius And I'm proud that I'm a bitcoin user

i am not only proud to be here but also i am doing my best to take this opportunity and acumulate as much bitcoin as i can before bitcoin becomes real popular and price goes so high that i can't afford buying it anymore.
Yes, pioneers should be proud because I'm pretty sure that they are in profit especially those who put so much trust in Bitcoin, who invested big amount in this. How I wish that I was one of them, but I believe that it is never too late for us, still great things ahead of us. We just have to believe in.

Yes we must be really proud. I am very proud that I have met bitcoins and I am very thankful to all the opportunities and the friends I made during my bitcoin journey. Though I cannot boast big earnings but bitcoin is a life saver, it provided me income opportunities when I was down and financially troubled. It has helped me lessen my financial burden and constant headache from Financial stress.
I am proud to be one of those who knew/used/trusted bitcoin. Well I've known bitcoin first for quite some time before knowing bitcointalk, but I think it really helps in advertising bitcoin. I do hope that members in the forum(especially newbies) will still be eager to learn and know what's bitcoin, aside from just earning it. Me myself still doesn't know all about it but do learn something new as time passes by. Still hopeful that bitcoin's success will continue for the next years

Selling is also important to take price of bitcoin in future and if everyone will keep on holding their coins then it will make bitcoin much a weaker currency and it will affect its price too.

yeah we all should be proud to be a part of bitcoin history, this reminds of that old topic here saying we are the "wealthy elite" which i also agree with.
nobody knew bitcoin would grow to $1000 one day back in 2008-2009 but it happened anyways and bitcoin still has a long way to go.

Thanks a lot. We are all great and smart people that decided to invest in Bitcoin. We definitely should be proud of all our achievements. We have seen the price go up and down and we have stuck by it the whole time.

Its too late for early adoption right now.We're way beyond of that phase.Neither agree with the second point,people are doing it just because everybody around is,making coins is the only intention.How many even understand the bitcoin protocol here anyway ?The next "x" years,is all bullcrap,reality is everything.We are doing just fine right now.Its still a concept really.
I just missed out on the early stages of bitcoin, I found out and joined the community late 2013 when bitcoin was probably around it's highest price and when it was on the news quite a bit in the UK.
i still see myself as one of the early adopters, as Denker and others have said pretty much everyone who is on this forum should be considered an early adopter regardless of how many bitcoin they have, just being here and active is enough.
