he's using vandroiy logic:

(interest + withdrawals) > 8000

withdrawals = ??

therefore interest > 8000

I suggest that you audit your business, since we apparently know more about what you are making than you do.

Here's how the recent interest payments correspond to entries in the blockchain.  There's a really close correspondence between the calculated interest and the actual interest.  The difference is explained by the fact that BS&T calculates interest from the minute payment is received, but all I see are block timestamps which will be close to but different from the time the transactions were made.

You can follow the whole chain of deposits and withdrawals through the blockchain all the way back to the start.  Transaction 5493e71f8d06de5fd5c28a53583eca930e7b4ea56fdbb37b4e6a3a3f43182da8 pays 15 BTC interest - that's 3% of the balance of 500 BTC deposited as 200 BTC (a9c40ba6f829e538aa5e97fb9cb3e747a57a120d0e8f02addb92e8af55c2375c) and 300 BTC (93f93535cc34038b2ccd2c142e183ea743dc98522ef6272343f41bcd1ab3ffc1).  Interest was 1% per day, paid every 3 days at the start.

is very simple, if pirate is smarter to think of something before everyone else, he would be smart enough to cover up as much as he requires....just a thought.

Also for all the people who talk about pirate being a ponzi, just remember that, we as individuals are limited by our own intelligence. It allows us only to 'digest' whatever is within our own limited capacity to understand.....we only have the ability to think within our mind, if someone else is smarter, they just are....like pirate is....

I don't know, but I guess the calculation goes something like this:

Quote
bitcoin max gets about 9000 BTC per week in interest.

i high-lighted the key word here.

please point out any week, any evidence at all showing i get about 9000 BTC per week in interest Roll Eyes

the guesses keep getting stranger by the minute.

BitcoinMax is not getting 9000 BTC in interest, true, but it's getting over 8000 BTC in interest. With a .8% cut for yourself, you personally made about 950 BTC for yourself this last week. That's over $9000, even if the bitcoin price drops a bit.

Ok, go on then, show us your data Smiley
That will compromise the investigation, so I cannot. Every day, though, we're finding out more about Pirate's scheme.

I really question why you guys are donating anything to Payb.tc, given that he's currently making over $9000 per week off of this. That's about $470k per year, for those of you who are bad at math.
How have you worked that out?

I don't know, but I guess the calculation goes something like this:

Quote

payb.tc is on the 7.7% interest level and pays out 6.9%, so he keeps 9000 * (7.7-6.9) / 7.7 = 935 BTC per week.

935 BTC is over $9000.

Maged knows something we don't...

Everyone pull your coins!  Wink

Though, lots of love for Maged. Don't quite agree with his stance on BS&T, but that's it.
Don't agree with his math either, but he's a good mod

How have you worked that out?

lets see if 9k$ is 0.1%, lets say that is roughly 1k btc. that would mean total sum invested with bitcoinmax would have to be 1 million btc. even in the fud threads the whole "pirate ponzi" is only estimated at 300-500k btc.

lets assume he is bad at math and meant to say $900 a week / 47k a year, assuming 100k btc bitcoinmax volume, which is still a wild guess. still no other pass through is providing as good an offer as this so I think its still ok to say thx and donate if you have too much btc on your hands. I mean wtf... he cant even remotely buy a 911 turbo with that...

I don't want to see important messages of payb.tc get lost in the sea of FUD, because he mainly use this topic as a mean of communication.
I don't want to see important messages of payb.tc get lost in the sea of FUD, or in the even bigger sea of posts in which every user in turn is pointing out how tiresome it is to read those posts.

Now, just opened an account a couple of weeks ago. The site is great and so is the service. Also, appreciate how you keep us informed (eg. Mt.Gox having issues this week), thanks payb.tc!
