I would like to setup an account, here is my private withdrawal address so anyone can track how much I have taken out.  Also I will post here every time I make a deposit so you guys know how much I have sent in too, the general time, and with some deductions can track every transaction.

Kthnx.

I feel that my coins are secured @ BitcoinMax more than @ GLBSE,
Well, in the end it all boils down to the reliability of Pirate's business Smiley

The site is fantastic! Functionalities rock! What I like the most about BitcoinMax.com is its security! I feel that my coins are secured @ BitcoinMax more than @ GLBSE, for one simple reason; that the withdraw address is fixed and can not be changed without a request+prove of ownership of the withdrawal address. It is such point that made me choose BitcoinMax over any PPT bonds @ GLBSE.

members can now cancel their own withdrawal requests from within the login area, if they change their mind or circumstances change. no need to PM me anymore to cancel a withdrawal request.

I think everyones making this overly complicated unnecessarily

the system has payb.tc has been originally designed is working  perfect for withdrawls and deposits IMO

it may take up to 24 hrs but it may only take a few minutes if u get lucky
+1 here too

With a savings account paying this interest (that's 6.9 friggin' percent A WEEK guys!), I have absolutely NO problem whatsoever waiting 24 hrs for a withdrawal.

its beyond me that people are designing more complicated withdrawl programs when the current ones are fine

its probably a good thing that payb.tc has to glance over the withdrawls manually and then them approve them as doing by script would be another way fraud coould happen if the site was hacked when he was sleeping and someone managed to steal the coins

i understand where you're coming from, but using a data structure like a priority queue only makes things more complicated (a bit of programming) in order to ultimately make things less complicated

and i'd hope he'd still use a manual withdrawal system, it would just help smooth things out before he even looks at them

It's interesting, it appears to me that people are more willing to donate BTC than actual money in some instances.  Perhaps it's because BTC feels less real?  Or perhaps it's just easier?  I dunno.  Sending 5 BTC to someone, say an app developer, seems easier and less actual money than sending the actual cash.  Anyone else see it that way?

Obligatory: Bitcoin is actual money.

To my experience, the valuation is quite the opposite. Most people value their coins more than they value their paper cash. It has to do with difficulties in getting Bitcoin, and the prospect of future exchange rate increases.

In my opinion, the reason we see a lot of donations going around is because this is a community formed around a new kind of money that is easily transferable, all aspects of which cause inclination to donate. It's more like a tradition.

It is easier and small donations does not clog your credit card statements unnecessarily.  Wink

Definitely easier.
Or to be honest, paypal might be as easy, but I don't use them more than absolutely necessary out of principle.
