last night i asked the host about SNI (for the SSL stuff) but then went to bed, then i wake up and see all this drama, but they say they don't support SNI so I need a new IP address.

so i'm not sure exactly if the two events are related or not yet, still talking to them.
Obviously you haven't read the part about installing some self signed certificate for all your domains at once.
People just don't feel comfortable sending around unencrypted passwords.

i have read that part, but i don't really know enough about it, and would rather just pay for a new IP address than spend the time to learn at this point.
i had a quick search on the subject but it doesn't look that straight forward.

Obviously you haven't read the part about installing some self signed certificate for all your domains at once - assuming you have access to the system.
People just don't feel comfortable sending around unencrypted passwords and reading back unencrypted data. Self signed certificate will be much better than nothing.

From the outside, the "outage" issue looks like a routing one.. I can't get more than 1 hop into "national-net.com" trying to reach anything in the /20 (69.50.128.0/20)  his site is hosted in.

I'm not having the same luck as you, and I still cannot access it. Hopefully he's aware of the issue though and already on it Cheesy

And it is down for me again.  Undecided

It shows his last forum activity at like 5-6AM EST so he was probably up late.  Hopefully we hear something from him in a bit.

Wasn't working for me for a bit when I saw people saying it was down.

It appears to be up and running again now though.  Signed in just fine and the interest payments for the week have been calculated.

I am the one who knocks
July 11, 2012, 11:48:12 AM
Probably his VPS got knocked out. Even http://payb.tc does not work.

works for me here in thailand, both sites load...
It just started loading for me here in Singapore. I swear it was both out just now.  Wink

It is out for me... I would guess that he is upgrading to SSL as the IPs do not match www.thrucoin.com anymore, which he had previously stated was on the same server.

I can confirm http://payb.tc/ and http://bitcoinmax.com/ work, but it seems only from far-off proxies.

I can connect to it via singapore vpn exit, but not from EU or US exits.
