It's sad that you just realized they are scammers after sending them money. Always do due diligence before using any service. If you have any doubts you can always try asking members here to help you investigate a website or service you are trying.

I just got caught too. Got exact same email reply.  Angry

I HAVE saved myself $100's,
Sorry, i guess it was a lesson at a price. The fact is never rely on random online reviews. Scammers use them to list their scam websites

For whoever is looking for bitcoin mixing, we are giving solution by converting bitcoins into monero on our market, in traditional way but safe, BTC to XMR. It's free anonymous market on the tor network, it can be accessed by the tor browser. Here you can exchange bitcoins to monero, you decide the amount of bitcoins that you want to exchange with monero. The exchange commission rate is 0.50. You can always contact the admin of the market for any issue.

A random mixing service from a newbie account sounds a little shady to me. Be careful folks!

I HAVE saved myself $100's, several times, simply through checking for scam reports beforehand.

So the reports DO help.

This time I just got lazy. That's all. Lost $220, a lot for me.

Lesson is - don't get lazy.
   Don't assume.
Don't rely on those comparing websites with glowing reviews.

Check the forums, check Reddit.

Sorry to head that out thats why we shouldnt really be that lazy because each wrong move to be made would really cost us money.
I dont know why people do still got confused nor lost when using up a mixer?  Chipmixer is there and been mainly suggested when it comes to
mixer but people still got lost on using unknown ones. Googling doesnt really cost an arm and leg though.

Ah looks like they got me too.  I don't remember where I saw the referral, but I'm sure it was a related scam.  Oh well, $400 gone, lesson learned.
It's an old scam bitcoin mixer. I even listed them on the very first position of the List of Bitcoin Mixer or tumbler SCAM/CLONE websites
I still wonder how you could fall for such a scam website yet there are some legit ones being advertised around the forum. If you can google about the best bitcoin mixer to use, then it would also be wise to google about the existing scam accusations and reviews about the mixer

Limited in number. Limitless in potential.

Ugh, why just people rush and don't have second thoughts to ask or to research even to google first before using a website that needs of sending funds  Undecided
Hope you get your lesson as well as op.

I did get a response back from bitcoinmixer.eu email today, although I'm not hopeful.  Cex.io told me the bitcoin was still in the destination wallet.

~

I don't see any risk in providing the info requested, does anyone else?
I wouldn't trust them. Mabe they are just trying to fool you again with some "mix again and you will receive everything", or ask for some important and private information later. We never know.

They can't do anything from knowing your OS and wallet software. So why would they ask you this if it's all an "issue on their databaseb"? They are probably just trying to act innocent to make you trust them or get more time to scam more people without you publicly accussing them.

Here was the response:
Hi,

We are sorry to have been slow to answer but our system move your email to the spam folder.
On the other hand, we have had some problems with our internal transactions database and we need you to provide us some information in order to solve your problem as soon as possible.

Scammed today as well...
Was trying to use the search function on the forum but it requires being logged, and registering from TOR does not work so I gave it a try.
Damn, will learn from this error.

Slava Ukraini!
Now two big mixer websites - Bestmixer.io and Bitblender.io is out of business. It probably means that we will see more new unknown mixer websites. People will have to look for alternatives and it's great opportunity for scammers to make some nice money. OP story shows that people aren't careful with their money and they trust they money to random unknown website. Sorry for your loss, I hope you didn't lost much.

Once a man, twice a child!
Where did you hear about this website?

The messages at the bottom left corner of the page are fake. This means that this mixer is much likely a scam. Also, I’ve never heard about it before (not even here on btt).

Never use a mixer/service that has no reviews or isn’t known.

They are on several articles for top mixers https://bestbitcoinmixer.org/ being one of them.
...And Chipmixer isn't on that list. I give up because that site is obviously a scam!

Me too. I got done trying to mix on bestcoinmixer.eu AND coinmixer on TOR. Noob mistake but I was on review sites that reviewed bestmixer.io which I had no issues with. When they closed I just moved to the next in the list - cost me a bit given the minimum deposits are all 0.1 BTC!!

Going through the 2019 list on bitcointalk.org and will test smaller amounts first!!

OP, How you ended up with this random bitcoin mixer website?

Here's your answer:

They are on several articles for top mixers https://bestbitcoinmixer.org/ being one of them.

Seems like Google is not his friend when he tried to search best bitcoin mixer or something similar. I'm pretty sure he ended up on that site via Google.

Actually, we got a list of legit mixers/tumblers here in this board but it got buried under 10 pages, external websites aren't reliable because those aren't regularly updated.
Here's the link: 2019 List Bitcoin Mixers Bitcoin Tumblers Websites in case you need a mixing service in the future.

It could use a bump  Wink
