I played my first game (free-roll) about an hour ago among 6 people, 2 of which weren't there. I won the game and got somewhere under 2 chips. How does the distribution work?

Yeah sometimes players have a habit of registering then not being on when it starts.

The 3mBTC Freerolls are set to pay top 2 out. 1st place is 61% and 2nd place is 59%.

LOL.  1st place is 61% and 2nd place is 59%? Total 120%??

Nice to see freeroll is back, I can gather 20 chips to withdraw.  Grin Cheesy  Thanks

Which one is correct? You say 2mbtc hourly freeroll, but in the lobby I see 3mbtc hourly freeroll.

Anyway, already registered in this new hourly freeroll, need 2 more players to play..

Sorry was a typo. It is 3mBTC Hourly freeroll. Top 2 spots paid at 61% and 39%.

Some free (unsolicited) advice to Admin.

You got a commodity product and facing a dozen-odd competitors. In order to build a franchise you'll need to consistently run a regular schedule of games, and be prepared to lose x-amount of BTC building a player base. Take a look at how Luckyflop combines hourly FR, with GTD tourneys and FR that can only be entered with points earned on the cash tables. It is a good combination of games that will keep players coming back.

You're not going to get anywhere announcing one game at at time here on Bitcointalk ...

+1000!!!! i so agree in this!!!

8hours left for the first 25mbtc GTD tourney, and there are only 3 registered players so far.
big chance to get at least 5mbtc..what are you waiting for?

Niceone for bumping the thread to remind of the 25mbtc GTD, i will be sure to join you just took a look and the site looks good, very similar software the new sites that have come out recently. Looks like the successful will be the one with the best promotion to attract the players if there is little difference in the software. Anyway see you there!

We have implemented the following NEW Micro Stakes ring game tables:

  • Micro Ring Game 0.01/0.02 Chips - Minimum to sit down is 0.5 Chip
  • Micro Ring Game 0.10/0.20 Chips - Minimum to sit down is 1 Chip
  • Micro Ring Game 0.25/0.50 Chips - Minimum to sit down is 5 Chips

Please let us know what type of "micro" tournaments you would like to see.

Thanks everyone!!

Great, but where are hourly 5 mbtc freerolls? You said you would hold hourly 5 mbtc freerolls again after micro stakes ring games.

Talk about being keen for freerolls  Cheesy I see you on another thread winning some money on freerolls then instantly withdrawing, is that what you do just go around all sites play freerolls and withdraw without having any other games to help the site become active like the site helps you make some coin?

That is a little tight maan freeroll winning should be used for freerolling the other paid games on the site to create traffic and maybe a bigger income but each to their own. I will start a table real soon admin.

LOL, i am a freeroller and GTDer because I have played texas hold'em for only 2 months, I need to train my skills in freerolls. I am afraid lost money in ring games because I am a poker newbie.  Tongue And I also join GTD, just don't like ring games.

Okie that is a valid enough reason i guess, and wow! just 2 months you have made a good start into Texas hold-em and i am sure you will train your skills well! Again for a newbie you are doing good, keep it up.. You will join GTD that is good hopefully i see you in these micro GTDs coming up.

You'll get to liking them eventually, I'd wager.  Ring games are great for when you're relaxing and not wanting to play fast---when you've got time.  In a ring game you just be patient and watch until your moment comes.  No raising of blinds so no rush to get ahead, just slow and fun.

Just a quick update.

We are still waiting on our developer to implement the changes needed to offer micro ring games/tournaments.

We will let you know once its implemented and the tables are created.

Thanks!

Our developer is working on the code as we speak to implement "micro" or fractional chip tables. This should be up and going sometime in the next few hours.

Once it is up and the tables have been created I will update this thread.

Thanks!

Good news, so the previous freeroll winners can spend their winning chips in the new ring games.

Just wanna invite you all guys to try this new ring games, I'll be there if you wanna play with me.

Especially to @fox @waterpile @indamuck...when you're ready to play, just shot me a PM  Grin

I'm sitting at micro stakes ring table, but I'm the only one logged in!  Head on over!

I sat at a ring table for like 2 hours yesterday, 3 other people logged on, no one cared to join.

I've played several hands with pawel yesterday, but unfortunately I've to leave him alone because of bed time. Smiley

Have you registered in the 25mbtc GTD tourney?

Hope to see you all there, and lets have fun on it.. Wink

It's good to see players wanting to play on the micro stakes tables. If there is anything else we can do please let us know.

I know one of the most difficult things in poker is trying to get players on at the same time, otherwise there is nobody to play against.

Would you be interested in micro tournament as well? If so please let us know which ones.

Thanks.

As what I said before, you need to add GTD buy-in tournaments.
Players prefer to play on this kind of tournament rather than on sit & go tournament or other tournament that the prize is determined by total registered players.
But of course, don't forget some freerolls  Grin

Guaranteed prize money is definitely a good idea. Players don't necessarily prefer it over sit and go but the possibility of dead money helps.

We have had a lot of requests for a GTD tournament and will be setting one up very soon.

What type of buy-in would everyone like to see for a GTD? We can base what we add to the GTD tournaments once we get an idea of what a good buy-in amount is?

Maybe something like 5 or 10mBTC with a GTD of 100mBTC?

Let us know!

5mbtc buy-in with guaranteed 100mBtc is a good idea, but you need to take a look at BetVIPpoker, they give 100mbtc freeroll everyday. I dont ask you to give something the same with other sites, but you should create more innovative idea.
Its better to try lower buy-in first, lets say 1mbtc for 25mbtc.

Thank you for the information.

Im not trying to advertise another site here, but at the other sites which I usually play, there is always 150 mbtc GTD there daily with 5mbtc buy in + 1 mbtc house fee, and 5 mbtc for the rebuy option and there are like 5-10 players for each of the game with lot of rebuys. You can either make this daily or atleast 1x / 3 days for now to get more interest to your site.
Combine this GTD with hourly freerolls of small amounts, the purposes of this small amounts is to encourage people to use it for the GTD

Thank you for the information.

We have added a 25mBTC GTD Daily Tournament to start on Monday, April 20 2015 at 8:00PM Eastern Time. I will post all of this information on OP as well but here is the tournament info:

Buy-in: 1 chip + 0.1 chip fee
Rebuy: 1 chip
Guaranteed at least 25mBTC in prize pool
Tournament pays out Top 3 no matter how many players enter into the tournament
No-show timer is set to 15 minutes
Late registration is set to 15 minutes

Thanks everyone for the feedback. We will see how this goes and go from there. Please let us know if you have any suggestions.

Also keep an eye out for our 5mBTC hourly freerolls to start up again soon.

Just registered on it,and like to see that you set the maximum rebuy to 5x (it will reduce the number of "always all-in" players) lol
I hope there will be more players come to play with me.

Awesome. Yes i think a maximum rebuy of 5x per person is reasonable.

We will also be sending out an email here very soon to let everyone know to register for the tournament.
