I hope you will make it next season too, I think we had great time with all you guys Smiley.
That is the plan, the pools are here to stay and I plan on running them for as long as we have at least 10 participants.

I will edit the OP with the names of the winners tomorrow evening but you already know who you are. Feel free to start posting your BTC addresses. I will dish out the prizes as soon as I collect all the addresses.

Congrats to winners, must admit that two 4th place finishes are a bit irksome for me  Grin

So, Serie A season ended today too. Milan finnished 2nd after beating Atalanta - this season was rollercoaster for them. Juve jumped into Champion league train on the last round.
Congrats to @Hoody Hoo for winning this pool. Well deserved, you left no chance for others. Congrats to @bigdaddy and @hahay with Top 3 finnish. And same like in La Liga pool, @Trofo finnish 4th and get wooden medal  Tongue
I dropped from 6th to 8th on the last round. Well, before season I didn't had big expecations because Serie A isn't my league, so, this result is somewhat expected. Though, I scored much more points there than in EPL pool. Also, thanks to this pool, I started to follow Serie A more closely and this season was so interesting.
Also, big thanks to @Trofo for making this and La Liga pool. I hope you will make it next season too, I think we had great time with all you guys Smiley.

Thanks for the Euro link. I avoided the Coppa match because it had silly value, and unfortunately, I don't see also any good value in this week's games, so will likely avoid most of them. Germany and Spain are looking good, plus tomorrow's EPL plenty to play for;)

Maybe a very late parlay later if I win a lot in earlier games ha!

But it was a good game everyone, I hope you winners enjoy the prizes when they get finalised soon.

Juventus just won Coppa Italia after beating Atalanta 2:1

This is exactly what i wanted, Gasperini and his usual pissy mood can retaliate against Juve by starting his U17 squad on Sunday, let Milan take the last spot. It's a pointless game, they've already qualified for CL next season, and besides it's a long flight from Europe to Columbia for Muriel and Zapata, just give their entire squad a few days rest before they join their national teams. Copa America and EURO '20 begin in approximately three weeks, and players shouldn't risk injuring themselves at the last possible moment, right? Cheesy  Who doesn't want to see Juventus play MOL Fehervar and Slovan Bratislava, it's box office...lol

It was last game in Juventus for Gigi Buffon. He is 43 years old already, but I still want to see him playing, I hope he won't retire after this season.

From what i'm hearing he will not retire after the season, but certainly not playing for Juve, he wants to leave the club.

Benevento are relegated, officially. I was looking forward to their match with Torino in the last round but Lazio couldn't score/beat them last night. Immobile missed yet another penalty (4 or 5  missed on the season) which is quite a lot for a player of his caliber.

Juventus just won Coppa Italia after beating Atalanta 2:1. If 1st half was more or less equal, then in 2nd half Juventus diminated and fully deserved to win. This season was really bad for Juventus, so, this trophy is just little redemption for them. It was last game in Juventus for Gigi Buffon. Benevento couldn't beat 10 men Crotone, who played with their backup goalkeeper, and this was his first match in Serie A this season. He has probably only played 5-6 full games in the last few years, but he was man of the match with some incredible saves. Crotone has conceded 92 goals this season, the most in Serie A history...93, the minute they equalized. Benevento still has a chance to avoid relegation, all they have to do is beat Torino in the final round and hope Lazio doesn't give them a point in the postponed game between the two on Tuesday.

yeah, Crotone scored in third minute additional time, to crush Benevento, I highly doubt that they will pass Torino in the end, is it score between the two that is the decisive if they have same number of points, since Torino has much better goal difference? Lazio actually does not have anything to play for, so Torino could secure their survival prior to last match

Cagliari secured their next season prior to Milan match, so I was pretty sure that this will end up as home win, but obviously Milan is not up to their business lately

would be interesting between Roma and Sassuolo for last Europa competition spot, or they both will get Europa because Coppa Italia spot could go to Atalanta that is already in CL

will be interesting on Wednesday, Juventus could end up with one trophy in the end, not the shiny one, but it is a trophy after all

Let's recap this round so far:

Calvarese, the referee who officiated the Juventus-Inter game was a complete joke. Every other decision he had to make was incorrect, such as the phantom red card for Bentancur, which he compensated for by gifting Juve a non-existent penalty against Perisic. There were so many mistakes, it is easily the worst reffed match in recent memory.

Benevento couldn't beat 10 men Crotone, who played with their backup goalkeeper, and this was his first match in Serie A this season. He has probably only played 5-6 full games in the last few years, but he was man of the match with some incredible saves. Milan has to beat Atalanta in Bergamo to qualify for the CL, after 0:0 draw just now with a highly motivated Cagliari team. lol

^ Eh I actually got bored by the first 15 mins f I'm honest and switched to not football after Leicester got their win, nothing else really interesting. Did anyone else think Inter let Juve win or are they finally being found out and maybe playing with too much Moretti in their belly heh.

P.S. Good on Copa, def in, I love throwing money away in short comps too;)

You sure about that? I remember that season when Leicster lifted the trophy, they just bought Kramaric and he was far away from first team and quickly went on a loan deal. I always thought he got the medal for that anyway. He played maybe 3 games max, probably even less.

I actually only knew last season when Liverpool won the league (yeah, yeah I know, but who needs to know things when their team doesn't win, right?). Klopp complained quite a lot because he apparently also didn't know about the rules that you need to play 5 games or you don't get the winners' medal. I don't know who didn't get it though because of the rule.

This confirms it: https://www.premierleague.com/news/1608983

They are just cheap, I would give the medal to anyone who played at least a couple of minutes, even if it was cameo in the last game of the season Smiley

Looking forward to late games today. Should be fun in Juve - Inter encounter as well as in Roma derby. My money will be on BTTS as usual.

Not sure about the rules in Serie A but will be surprised if Conte doesn't let fringe players get more game time just to get a winner's medal. It's only 2 games left so it wouldn't have mattered to most in EPL where you need 5 games, but maybe it's different in Serie A?

I was surprised how well Inter played after winning the league, usually there is few strange results in situations like that. At least BTTS kept on coming so my bets were winning anyway.

Had an awful week in the pool and all players around me did well. Time to get serious fast or loose my paid position Smiley

I also had an average week and slipped a position and it's seem BigDaddy is sealing is 2nd position and as well as reach in on Hoody Hoo in the top spot.

It's probably going to get really trick in the last two (thinking of a few upsets) to stand a chance or hoping to get the exact scores.

Juventus still has quite a fixtures at hand themselves, they're playing Inter Milan, and Inter doesn't seem to care one bit about winning the league already, they're still going about every game like business as usual. If Juventus can win both their fixtures then, they'll have a good chance because Atalanta vs AC Milan would face each other in the last round.

Good for Inter, but I totally get it. You've got no more pressure, and just want to set more records and more goals and more playing time. Forgot also that Atalanta/Milan meet again, but even if Milan loses, they're still above Juve on H2H, so really it's Napoli that Juve need to at least draw once, so Juve yeah, just need to win everything left and hope pray for a slip.

Juventus sweating with 2 games to go I guess now, I don't see any of the top 4 losing any games now that they probably all want Juve to NOT qualify haha. Will be a cool mix of forward-thinking teams in UCL next season, eh guys?

Serie A actually saved my acca last night, I went quite big on HT wins from most of the favourites, and then did something idiotic and parlayed it with an "easy" exotic league game. But got my bet back as insurance.

Who got the exact score on Juve/Milan derby?  Grin

...and i thought Juventus' situation couldn't get any worse than it already was, Kings of Europa League next season haha, competing with farmers and shoemakers. What a beautiful Sunday evening man, i couldn't be happier right now...(watch us lose to Torino midweek lmao).

I don't think I'd ever bet on Juve getting three goals against them. Ronaldo must be feeling right pissed about where they are now. Continue to play like this though and they might not even get Europa, Lazio for sure would deserve it far more than them.

Or Roma the big surprise if they manage to sneak into that spot haha;) Gotta get past Inter tonight first though. Mou must be licking his chops. Worth 4.7?

it is a pity that season is coming to an end, I just started to be better in the pool, well, there is always next year
Quite the opposite for me in this round. My plan was to attack 2nd position and now I am not even "secure" on the third. I guess that kind of round has to happen sooner or latter since I was quite solid in the last couple of months.

There sure is next year, to paraphrase Delboy "This time next year we will have first 2 positions in the pool"

I'm glad Cagliari got all three points, ensuring their stay in Serie A next season (given their remaining fixtures), i don't care about Benevento and Spezia, they can go back to Serie B, who cares...

+1
tough season, but seems that we will secure another one, not to mention that Cagliari joined Sorare last week, and it would be a waste to buy those players if they plan to play in Serie B next season

for Juventus, I will go with their win, could not help to notice that Milan is not that good lately (not watching them, must admit, but their results are next to nothing)

Just three rounds and two matches left, the battle for the third (and why not the second) about to get heated, pretty crowded within just a few points, but Harkorede is making ground on everyone so far.

Verona and Torino with two late goals saved a nice ticket for me, and also gave me an exact score, not bad, i always complain about those late ones, it's nice to be on the luck receiving end for a change.

I have a few tips for Roma and Crotone, Simy Anytime scorer, and Roma to win + btts, seem like decent options.

What are your thoughts on the evening derby between Juventus and Milan? Oddsmakers and logic point to Juventus, i see it as a draw but my heart says Milan. I guess i will just close my eyes and take a random guess in the end.  Grin
