If there is one team in Serie A that i can never seem to predict what they will do this season, it is Napoli.

Whenever i decide to play against them, they win. If i think they are the favorites and about to crush their opponents, they usually lose...it's getting annoying already, watch them lose or draw vs. Crotone next week. lol

I'd chalk it down as an off day (though you're right they're having more off days than they should be even at home! I'm rather just annoyed at myself for not picking more upsets yesterday, if you'd picked almost all the champions with handicap on a parlay: Liverpool, PSG, Real, I think the odds would have been over 100/1.

Anyway, damn you Lazio. We REALLY suck in this pool man.

Cagliari just ruined what could have been my third consecutive exact scores, after conceding an injury time penalty. It's been a crazy week here in the pool , 7 points so far from 8 games, I just hope Roma can help me pull one back to draw level.

Atalanta not scoring, hurt me real bad in the end. It was the only thing gone wrong on my late ticket. I had both to score on that game and was very happy at the moment Verona scored that penalty.

At least I have a single point, so long wooden spooners

After their win against Liverpool, I was sure they would beat Verona too. I expected a better performance on their part. Lately the matches have been really unpredictable. Milan and Juve, with Ibra at home and Ronaldo on the bench, also played mediocrely. They weren't bad, but they weren't excellent neither.

Terrible outing for me, tried to be a bit too smart and predict some more misery for Inter after their loss in Champs League but they seem to be only more fired up for the Serie A title heh. Don't forget we have games coming up guys, this time I went for almost completely random scores, just picking and not really looking at the teams (well except Juventus and Napoli which I had to pick a win to nil score).

Lazio will be so hyped after their UCL game, Inter will be licking wounds (what a loss, they're now even in danger of being out early).

Still about a quarter of the season only past, but yeah, some strong clues. I probably should give up on Lazio hopes. Napoli lost their momentum last season with THAT debacle, and Roma might be rediscovering some magic but yeah, I think it's still Inter, Milan and Juventus who'll wrap this up among themselves... sure Juve won't be vintage, but neither will the other teams.

Fancy Inter also gunning for a cup in Europe?

I didn't just moved up 3 places to become 3rd on the leaderboard, I also finished which the yellow cap of the round. Prior to this round I don't think I've had 3 exact scores in a single round before Shocked

Well done man! I think the best I ever did was 6 exact scores on 1 round, but that was English Premier League last season, back when I was still doing a lot of crazy 3-0 picks for Liverpool.

It was another bad round for me overall, most likely since I don't have much time now to watch all the smaller teams and what they are doing, but what hurts me the most is missing with the big teams too. Now I will go for Milan in the next round and they will probably fail cos no Ibra ...

yeah, I thought that Milan can win, but pushed the draw option, as more reasonable, and that is why I am stacked on the bottom of our pool, I am going for reasonable scores, and this season is everything but reasonable for Serie A, with as many surprises as possible
who would think that Fiorentina will lose to Benevento, and Sassoulo will win in Verona, after lousy performances in previous two matches, Roma nailed Parma, and I sought a draw there, instead of seeing that Atalanta will be the one to not win

nevertheless, there is always a hope for a good round, that will bring yellow cap win

I'm already imagining it right now, I'm doing terrible in La Liga and Serie A (as expected) but tokeweed ramping it up here is crazy. Notice also how the gap is in these leagues than in EPL? Or is that just the consequence of fewer players?

With so many players playing for their national teams, and especially with Muriel and Zapata and their back-and-forth trips over the Atlantic, that was to be expected...sorta!

Alright, Dzeko and Smalling not playing tomorrow, who else has Parma taking something from this game? My preliminary pick is 1:2 but what's bothering me more than anything is the following stat: Parma's last win @Stadio Olimpico dates back to '97, since 2001 in 17 matches Roma has 15 wins and 2 draws, talking about domination.

I will probably end up changing it to 2:0 or something, already a slow start for me with 2.5pts out of the first three games, maybe some other time. Grin
