I think games are still aimed at games, namely entertainment even though they offer an income like NFT games but there must be an investment and here you risk it with game skills whereas if it is without investment then what you will get may not be as good as local games that pay quite .

they are offering quite half on that and I think majority of the player prefer to earn then the fun or excitement is just secondary thing for them. But majority of it is skill based game so you need to be good to earn more tokens but also we should know the risk since scammers are now into NFT and many scam projects are now popping up on this category.

Yes you should be skilled but you can be skilled by training or honing your skills on that game . NFT games right now really needs skills to win the game and earn money because if you are not skillful enough then you will not win the game and not earn single money. I know in the future most of the games integrated the crypto in games and those who are skilled are earning money from it
NFT is the new trend at the moment but we know it does really need investment before you could earn and not those video games that you would simply play and able to earn crypto as you do earn.
I havent seen some games that do exist today because no one could really give out those kind of chances where its owners couldnt really have or able to get some revenue.
For now the current trend is circling around with NFT games but it does require investment too for you to earn.

Many join the hype its because they really see a huge opportunity to gain on this especially on the dev side since they can actually make their project became famous in short period of time especially there are earning potentials in their game but as stated by you it also need investment so that we can get stronger NFT characters which can give them high advantage to win the games. For sure in future we can see more games came out as NFT craze still not fading out.
Hype can work in our favor when we can put it to good use, but most people are greedy and miss out on opportunities that are right at hand. From the 2021 season to the present, there are many game projects that have been very successful, and among many of them are good projects, so that in the future I think there is still potential, as long as we are good at analyzing trends, the big profits we are looking for can be achieved.

The weird thing about all of this is that, so far we have paid companies to play their games, we have done this for a very long time now, over 30 years if I am not wrong, I have been personally doing it for over 25 years now at the very least and I don't know when it first started on PC but I know arcade and all of that started way back. So that means humanity reached a point where we could make money by playing games, and not just esports people who win tournaments neither, I mean regular folk.

For some reason, when we are having this HUGE change in how gaming works, people are still not happy about it. Like go look at all the things written about SLP and Axie lately, they keep saying that the game should change in a way to get it better and SLP should be going up by developers doing something, but nobody realizes that they are at least still making some profit. I haven't made any profit from playing any game I own on steam, even a dollar a day is better than that for Axie.

How i can make or win bitcoins by selling or doing specifics things in a Video game? i want to know what games and the metods to do this possible Smiley

Like with anything, if it was easy to make money in this way then lots of people would jump at the chance to do it and the amount you could make would fall. Unless you're going to go the full stretch to become a streamer or video creator - which means a lot of hours playing games and building your fan base, then there are few magic tricks to making money in this. You might be able to pick up the odd skins or special promotions that are possible to resell in certain marketplaces, but again, it requires a lot of time in a game to realize these things. You're best off finding a game you like, play it for a while and think of original ways to monetize it. Nobody is going to hand you a silver platter of money, because it means that they would lose that revenue stream in future.

I am not familiar with games that give you money in form of crypto currencies for playing. Usually the developers looking to be paid by the customer and not the other way round. There are however third party companies who offer payments for playing as a form of advertising. I know this from CSGO where casino websites over you free raffles and giveaways if you wear their name in you game tag. There are different levels for participating, I would say this only make sense if you play regularly. The payment is usually in skins which you than can sell for bitcoins at some of the exchanges. Here I would recommend to first gather some skins and cases and trade them up all together in one valuable skins. Like that it's much easier to sell it with less fees.

I know that this thread is really old, but recently there are already games that are possible to earn BTC while playing. Lightnite is one example, which was inspired by Fortnite. You can bet your BTC in the pool and you can win more by just keep winning games.

On the other hand, there are rumors about a classic MMORPG named RF Online that would transition into play-to-earn in which players can be airdropped with BTC and ETH, but I am not sure how it works though.

Indeed! NFT based games like Axie Infinity also needs a capital as a form of investment but the great news is after investing, you're going to manage your investments by playing it. Gamers don't really care about those capital because even if they're not generating incomes in some random games, they still buy some avatars to make their characters look good. So as long as they earn or get paid by just playing on it and have, that's all that matters to them and it's like a gamers fantasy that have been came true. That's what makes the Axie the one of the most successful games under NFT.

Yes.

People who play NFT games, at first they're for the ROI and profit but eventually, they've managed to enjoy the game. Plus, the fluctuation of the value of the token that they earn from it.

It's better for them to just enjoy the game and don't mind the value of the reward they get as long as they're having fun. That's what matters to them and I've seen those people in actual that said the same thing.
Fun would be always next in line because the main priority on why these people are playing is solely on making profits or getting some ROI and next would be the fun that you are talking into.

You wouldnt see people would be jumping on several nft games or being loyal on single one because that kind of primary motive that have in mind.

As long there would be earning opportunity then people wont really able to avoid that kind of intent or motive in the first place.
Well, it's the opposite.

I've seen people that are loyal to an NFT game that they won't jump off to any other since they're new to cryptocurrencies. That's the reason why they're staying on it and they don't want to replace the current one that they have.

But it's true, those that have been long in the market, they wouldn't mind playing newer games as long as it's profitable.
I'm one of those people who really love it. because I think it is very beneficial for me.. happy to share here.

There are lots of rugpulls did happen on NFT world specially on gaming industry on which they do really make it look legit and profitable but later on they would really sell off their shares
which do really sucks big  time because it do leave those people who had invested and trusted in the game. Its not surprising that they would really be going into this
trend which those scammers would normally do so as long they could really able to pull off some easy money then for sure they would go along
on whats the current trend.

So if you played axie for 2 hours per day for 6 months, you would have made 2x. Not awesome, but not horrible neither, definitely not as profitable as people assumed it would be.
To be honest, that's not good at all, to play 360 hours and only double your investment.

Talking a bout blockchain games then this is something that needs investment which you would able to earn after that but look out on lots of scam nft games now which would really result
on losing your investment thats why you should really make out in depth research of things because you wouldnt know on what comes next.

It's true that all those "play to earn' games need some investment if you wanna earn any significant amount of money. My plan is to play Gold Fever, survival mmorpg game that is currently in beta phase. Its not some shitty browser game though, but a standard PC game based on Unreal 5 engine.

There are many games which offer rewards or game benefits in crypto.

Most of them offer decent rewards when they first release their game to the public. After that they become like a faucet where you have to be very active in game to receive a very small amount of crypto. Except they pay less than faucets do.

Yeah, I better choose faucet sites than these games, in faucet sites all I will do is just click, answer some captcha and claim some satoshis, with these games, if you lose, you will be watching an ad everytime you lose to continue the game which is pretty irritating sometimes. I prefer faucet than these games.

I played this game too in some point literally that was made me irritated. I am not earned much from any of these  games but I presume lots of other genuine games are available now. But we should aware that majority are sham, only get less amount and time consuming too. Make sure it's worth playing when you start to play.

You are talking with those typical games that we do see in playstore which do really sucks on where you do need to watch ads but well its understandable because this is how business works.

People here are right, it is not about how much you can make with bitcoin but with crypto because bitcoin doesn't really have anything. Just to show you how risky of an investment it could be, but also how profitable, I will do some calculations based on Axie Infinity.

This summer, you had 300 dollars per axie, even more but let’s take 300 bottom, which means 900 dollars for a team, add in 100 bucks fee stuff for starting and you get yourself 1000 dollars. In return you made 150 SLP per day, this didn't change, you could still make 50 or 100 or 150 or more, but I will take 150 as it is the most common when calculating and not really impossible, that means at the peak price of 0.33 cents, people made 50 bucks per day, literally 50 dollars PER DAY, that is amazing right? Obviously, that didn't take too long, was a short span thing and has been in decline ever since, and under 3 cents now.

So, let’s take the average as 7 cents, for the past 6 months you would get around 7 cents on average, that means 0.07 cents times 180 days times 150 slp equals 1.9k dollars. Now your Axies worth around 80 to 100, which means you get 300 dollars back from that too. So if you played axie for 2 hours per day for 6 months, you would have made 2x. Not awesome, but not horrible neither, definitely not as profitable as people assumed it would be.

Closest you wull ever be is with developing your own blockchain games although it doesn't involve bitcoin as you're going to be creating your own token. I think there was a mod of Minecraft already existing that pays in bitcoin although I don't see if it had gained traction.

Wow, that's cool, but I think there are NFT games where you can earn money, but not in bitcoin. It is an altcoin. With regards to bitcoin, I do see only faucets, which take time and effort before you can earn from them, but the truth with that is that you are just making the owner of the website earn more since they are earning per visit and you are just earning from their faucets, which are only cents, so I think it is just a waste of time for you to do faucets. What is best is to be a well-known streamer right now, but this requires a good idea on how to make your stream famous.
