Seriously? I do not think so that Bitcoin price value will go down into that price of $1,800 which is literally too far to happen because at our currenct time, Bitcoin was playing in price from $11,000 and up. If you will just see and observe, that thing was really impossible to make happen because Bitcoin has many supporters right now and the Bitcoin community is now getting larger than before so I think it will not happen to make a downfall up to $1,800 because the demands will soon to rise up again in no time.

Seems OP is trolling us here. So much money already being put on bitcoin and I dont think it will reach that low. As always there are people willing to buy, because its an opportunity.

I think no. The market value of Bitcoin always goes down during January. Then after that, it goes up high enough. Always go back to the history price of Bitcoin. It will help you a lot.

No, this is not accurate and that is my opinion. You need to check the history of Bitcoin market value and you see the trend. It always going up not going down. It also shows that during the month of January Bitcoin goes deep down but after that, it will go high above again.

Throughout these last weeks I have read many forecasts about the price of bitcoin by the end of this year. Most are quite conservative and have already stopped predicting a price above $100,000, and so far the most pessimistic forecast was $6,000. However I think that a price as low as $1,800 would mean a total disenchantment of investors which seems unlikely, although if the bitcoin begins to die iy does not mean that all other cryptos do so too.

100.000 maybe its too much in one year only, but possible of course.

While there is no reason to lower the price of bitcoins to $ 1,800. True, this can happen before the end of the year, if bitcoin ceases to improve and eliminate its shortcomings and, if at the same time there are still some events that will also affect bitcoin in the direction of its reduction in price. If the shortcomings of bitcoin are eliminated, then by the end of this year, he may well reach a rate of 35,000 - 40,000 dollars.

If our wall street consultant is confident about this happening come December, let him put his job on the line so that we take him serious instead of spreading FUD which he has nothing to lose for it.

Maybe editor made a typo and was suppose to refer to bitcoin cash in the article Tongue

No one can say with complete certainty that it is not going to be true or false. In reality, we cannot define the intrinsic value of BTC yet and hence it is still said to be a bubble. We have to find real life applications for all of these cryptos and build intrinsic value for these. Otherwise, an apocalypse is inevitable.

That's too much $1,800 seriously? Bitcoin is starting to recover now and I don't think we will about to see that price soon at the end of 2018. Maybe you lack of two zeros at the end of those digits. That article tells about a wall st consultancy, I don't trust any of them. Most of them are bankers and you know what will they say about bitcoin? All of their statements and description about bitcoin is negative, they'll lose their business or if not they want to buy it at cheaper price.

Anyone who belives this, send me all the bitcoin you can and I will take it at $1,800
You're straight man but why your names a banker?  Grin

I hope not. I know there will be a bubble but I really do expect it to occur much later. Like in 3 years? I still need to grow my investments now.

High fees = low BTC price
January 18, 2018, 05:06:39 PM
The 1800 obviously won't happen but 2018 won't be anywhere near like 2017 was. Btc has it's well known problems and until those problems are solved I see no reason why the price should be more than 10-15. 20k is a pumped price. When the lightning network will be ready then we can talk about the next big jump

Yes ye old "lightning Network" will save us

Yes it is possible that price will decrease if old bitcoins from 2009-2014 addresses are pumped on the market. Especially if more governments will want to regulate cryptos. But no one knows when it may happen.

There is no basis for this prediction. In my opinion, it will be at least $30000 by the end of this year.

Excuse me , but on what basis is your opinion built on if you could explain ?
Such assumptions are just very bad opinions to write on the forum without making any explanation or backing it by any theory , you are building opinions on nothing but your speculation that could be totally inaccurate and based on 0 experience which is just FUD .
Bitcoin is struggling at the moment but lots of measures are being taken or scheduled to be taken , segwitted addresses are gaining ground and clearing some of the network congestion , others are talking about LN which could solve all of this and based on this everything should be okay , please stop spreading FUD .

Anything can happen, we can never stop the bitcoin price, and in the last 3 days it's been a bad day in bitcoin history, the price drop too fast and very big even yesterday the price drop to 48%.

And it has risen back of 10.25% today and crossing the 12k bar again , so this is always an up and down thing and you can't judge something over such a short period of time neither a percentage that can be easily manipulated especially after that a lot of people sold their cryptos assets hours before the declaration of the new measures that were going to take place and shut down crytpos exchanges in Korea .
The wheel can go back sometimes but it'll eventually shift to 1st gear sooner or later and go forward Wink .

I find this extremely hard to believe.
I think Bitcoin price will hover around $13-15k until Lightning Network has arrived. Once that does and starts working well, it's hard to predict the price, but it definitely won't go down. But it will most likely break $20.000 and go above quite a bit. I wouldn't be surprised if it breaks $30.000 and the whole crypto scene is worth 1.5trilion by the end of 2018.
