Since the members who are farming accounts have appeared the price of accounts has significantly fallen and they are actualy becoming cheaper and cheaper so they have lost their real value. And it's also sad that some people use this forum platforme just to make some money, no matter how small, without any real interest in Bitcoin world.
True.If I happen to be the admin,I'd make signature campaign stuff only on invite based.Yoi can browse the forum for free ,utilise all the boards but incase you want to post for signatures, you have to get an invite from the currently enrolled candidiate. And no account prices haven't fallen, bitcoin prices went up insanely.Logically, the account prices are still the same.

As far as I know, this site sells Bitcointalk accounts.
What is the calculated of any account price. If I want to sell my own account, what should I determine?
bctalkaccountpricer.info gives estimates of an account. I don't know if it still have an option to give an estimated price.
yeah bctalkaccountpricer.info is normally using for measure account price but i think its illegal to sell your personal to other and i think its not allow in this forum rules.
I don't think selling accounts is actually banned or against the site rules if that was the case so people wouldn't sell it freely.
Talking about price estimator I don't think the price it shows is actually correct but it is really useful in telling potential activity amd maybe like weeks to next rank or something like that it is useful like account history , etc.
You are right, the price of each account being stated on that site isnt accurate at all and shouldnt be followed because i saw its too overpriced and its not basing on the current price bracket which do commonly sell on this forum.I do use that site too for just checking the potential activity of my account.

even if the site can determine an account pruce, what about if the account follows a signature campaign and has big income? I think the price would be high. so does the site consider the account income either?
That estimator only give you "estimate" price of your account, don't take it too seriously. It also showed how good our post quality before it got removed, i ever tried to see how good post quality from an user. He always wrote 2 long sentences, then make it into 4 short sentences, and the result from the estimator about his post quality is "Good".
The estimator doesn't have any information your account has been enrolled or not IMO until now, so the price is different.

There was a website that used some sort of algorithm (I think) to value the BTC price of a certain account.
This https://www.bctalkaccountpricer.info
And nope, the algo isn't all accurate. There are other uses of the website though, for a better cause.

I think no algorithm would be enough to decide the price, it all comes down to the market. I would personally never sell my account for less than 1 BTC. I spent so much time in this forum learning and posting, I reached Hero Member... I value my account too much, so 1 BTC minimum. I think that is the average market price for Hero Member accounts with real posting and not total gibberish usually in some foreign language/offtopic section spam.
The fact that you are ready to sell your account shows how much you care about the rep here.Doesn't look like you value your account at all.For 1 btc you will sell all the crap that you wrote for earning from signature campaigns ? Don't think it's worth it,mate.

I guess you're right most of the buyers in the account of bitcointalk was a scammer, but I'm not saying all buyers only majority of them. I think selling your account here in the forum thread is quite not formal. The worst is even you sold your account you are no longer liable in it. But your name can be use for bad or legal. I guess it will not be use for bad, or else your name and reputation in this forum will be damage at all even you're not doing any bad things in real life.
What are you talking about? Where did you get these statistics from? I'd say most of the buyers were people who wanted to join signature campaigns. I have no idea what you're trying to say, this is one of the shittiest posts I've seen in a long time.

WTF does that mean? What name? Forum nickname? I don't think that someone with something like 0312 in his name should be worried about it being used for whatever reason.

Well making an account, make its rank higher and joining and posting here is a way to earn bitcoin and it is also one of the best way to earn bitcoin. And its demand really is getting high, so if i will be selling my account, i really want to charge it a little higher, well i will depend it on the current bitcoin price.

Generally, most DT members discourage account sales and would tag people who try to sell their accounts in public (posting that "I want to sell my account" or something similar). About pricing account, the prices has declined pretty bad due to account farmers and due to the efforts of DT members and other members who tries to stop the proliferation of spammy accounts and multiple alts of people.

Price determines on the quality of post. If your account has low quality post expect that your account has a lower value  unlike on the accounts with good quality post has the greater value.

Yeah. https://www.bctalkaccountpricer.info/ This site is calculating the price by doing some evaluations according to the number of messages. But it is not possible to understand the quality of the messages entered.

Therefore, when determining the price of any account you need to consider the quality of the message.
Yeah that site helps in determining very basic and important details like post quality (yeah awesome for that! ).
I think the best way to buy/sell any digital good is by auction because then you actually get the worth of those things.
And personally I discourage account sales and reputation build ups for sale.

Its the users that sell accounts not the forum. Its not actually a good sign if you are trying to sell yours. Not becuase your account has low rank but accounts being sold are usually used for scamming. Is Michel de Montaigne your real name? Because if it is, you are in bad situation after you got this sold. You'd be tagged being a scammer if this account will be used to scam people from the forum. You could even be tagged by selling your account, the point is that registering an account is easy so a person doesn't actually had to buy one unless he is up for something.

Actually the prices depend upon a lot of factors mainly on post count, their quality and their recent activity. Plus added to these their trust, loan history and their public reputation.
Mostly the accounts sales is not encouraged but those who are here to provide a service or something may look for accounts like fastdice once looked to buy many accounts. But basically I hate this concept.

Although this thread can get you the approximate value of your account,
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/bitcointalk-account-price-estimator-1142314
www.bctalkaccountpricer.info
It is nearly 50% what people offer in the black market. The actual value of the account cannot be determined so easily. If you put it on auction then you will surely get the double of your estimation value.

There's one more thing I'm worried about. Suppose we sold our account. The person who bought the account did an illegal job with this account.
Is it possible that we are not guilty? Can they sue us for they know our IP address?
First of all your login address is visible in the database, so if someone buys your account he will use a different ip than you did.
If the possibility of him scamming worries you, you can always keep the records of the sale, dates, addresses, conversations and if someone comes knocking at your door you will be able to prove you had no control over the account since (date). Since selling account is not prohibited on the forum, you haven't violated any laws and can't be held responsible.

Mate, I guess that estimator is not that accurate on how much the account is trusted, there are many account here that was estimated with good price but the account is not that reputable, so better search on for most reputable seller first.  So be sure to consult the auction section and you will get to know the estimate prices on which accounts are sold.

You must report it into the DT member to tagging your account is already shake into the other hand. So, all of the activity will have done by your account already become the responsibilities of the owner of your account.

The best way to know the actual price of the account you are going to sell is to hold a bidding for the said account,I have seen it done in the marketplace, the bidder will determine it's price,it could go higher or lower in your expectation but if the said account has a good reputation and quality post then you will have a good bargain.

you can use bitcointalkprice.info, but in there only estimator price, not accurate the real price
you can calculation use average antoher person is salling account in digital good section or auction section
youre can compare price in there use bitcointalkprice.info

www.bctalkaccountpricer.info is not provided exact price but we all should agree this estimator shows the posts and its break down, SMAS list accounts, potential activity and trust. However, this will provide the little knowledge about the every account with the help of searching by your UID.
absolutely right, there is not a tool that can predict the price of a btt account in correctly. I recommend to stay active and join in this forum. I think we all will benefit, maybe not now, but it will definitely be there.

Better to don't plan to cell account because you will just receive negative trust  and i think they are not allowed right now to sell bitcoin accounts..
But there are still many people are still selling bitcoin but in anonymous way unless if you are lender and the owner is defaulter and you can sell his account.. and use the bctalkpricer the equal value or estimate value there just divided them into 2 and i think it will be come enough value for that account..
Yes, I agree with you. Selling bitcointalk accounts is too risky for the buyer because they can get negative trust. So accounts with negative trust is useless i think.
Anyways, I advise people to avoid these deals. and save their bitcointalk account.
As you said, The price and account details is showen in bctalkaccountpricer.info , You can find there everything by writing the UID account.
