Just a word of advice : most users don't like the word "sir" being used around here. It's commonly associated with scammers / spammers and it really doesn't do anything regarding whenever someone decides to help you. You'll get the same amount of help if you drop the "sir" part within your sentences Wink

Ick. I couldn't find any merit-worthy posts on this week's list--I un-ignored Bitcoin/Altcoin Discussion and the mining sections as I usually do when checking posts from this thread, but either no posts showed up when I checked a member's post history, or the posts were crap, or in the case of PawGo, the posts were above my head technically (he seems to be promoting his programs, but I don't know anything about them).

Ah, well. Perhaps next week's list will be better. I need to give out some merits pronto. If anyone wants a post history review, drop me a PM.

As for the list, I think you are partly right, since I noticed a long time ago that there are a lot of users who have crossed the 80% barrier, but whose names did not appear in the weekly updates in the future, (you may think that I am one of them, but this is not the case because no matter how many merit received, I will not advance further due to lack of activity). I'm talking about those users who have enough activity and who once got into DdmrDdmr's weekly list, but without receiving any merit were transferred to the shadow list which I never managed to view (I just did not find it).

By the way, my merit count has so far been stuck at 740 [-260 of Legendary requirement]. Without quality post then I'm sure that number will never grow any faster and I'm sure that effort and consistency will help me get there.

I'll be happy to do it, just ask. I have a feeling that you haven't gotten enough merits because of the section(s) you post in. Not having enough merit sources might be part of the problem, but another is that any good posts are buried under a mountain of garbage, so even if a source was reading a thread you posted in they might not even see it.

Man, great list this week! I just sent out a ton of merits, so much that it's left me with fewer sMerits than I've had in quite some time. As always, I'm grateful you keep this thread updated, DdmrDdmr. Without it, I'd have a much harder time finding undermerited posts, especially those of Apocalipsa and kaggie (who I had on ignore for some reason). Not surprisingly, great posts made in the altcoin section don't attract the attention of many merit sources, and I wouldn't have found some of those had I not been pointed to them.
