Otherwise I could ask for a passphrase and get a Bitcoin address from it, that would be used to sign/encrypt messages.

Now there's an idea. Check out the source of bitaddress.org for starters.

Also, being able to automatically GPG sign messages would be nice. Smiley
That's something I considered but I finally thought that nobody would trust a userscript for any cryptography use
It's javascript, so everybody can checkout the source (I occasionally check the script for suspicious stuff, haha). That is why I don't see a reason to not do it.
Another problem is the implementation. I know that I can include external scripts but I really like the script being dependency-free. GPG will likely require a solid library though.
Otherwise I could ask for a passphrase and get a Bitcoin address from it, that would be used to sign/encrypt messages.
Give me your thoughts, hopefully we will find a compromise.
Hmmm, well importing isn't recommended and asking for a passhrase which returns a Bitcoin address can be obtained when it isn't send on a HTTPS connection. I, personally, would use the most filthy trick there is. Just copy paste the whole GPG library into the script. Hahaha.

BTW that's great someone is checking the code!
Tell me if anything is unclear, I know that my code can be pretty obscure (even for me sometimes)
It's clear enough to me. I can see the logic of it and what it does. How it works exactly isn't that important (as long as it works).

If there is some demand I can look at what can be done though

I just added another note to Evolyn.

Wut? ^.-

Nice work jackjack!

Well, I have a few suggestions:

1. while chat disabled, hide the quote in chat buttons.
2. option to hide toggle auto-refresh button.
3. a toggle chat button to disable/enable chat next to the toggle auto-refresh button (hideable in options, too) (I noticed the hide/show button, but I want to toggle the whole chat thing)
Done in 0.2.47
* whiskers75 what about my whiskchat idea? Sad

You guys use Firefox + OSX? What do people use to be able to see the full potential of this script?

Name it console, because well, that is what it is. Wink

EDIT: Also, it would be good to tell in what unit this is:

Refresh rate of the chat (default=2)

I just noticed the votes list was down
It's fixed now

I also added an "Account" channel in the chat: this is a place where you can interact with the server
1. Please give me a better name if "Account" is obscure
2. For now there are two commands: 'help', that displays all the commands, and 'myvotes', that displays your votes

Fresh install of OSX + Fresh Install of chrome tested and still not working ...?
I was sure it was a problem of usable functions in Chrome
This seems to prove it

I have one question: I think I should change "report scammer" into "report suspicious account", do you agree?
Agreed.

Quote
Report Scammer feature is also not working on OSX + Chrome
Works for me. Your Chrome is really fucked up / OSX is really fucked up.

Really? It's working on Chrome??
Jup. I just added another note to Evolyn.
EDIT: Now it suddenly stopped working.

BitcoinTalk++ homepage: http://btpp.jampa.eu
Empty, for now

In 0.2.40:

- Show BT++ trust score on profile page
 - Add the ✔ to show the user is in your BitcoinTalk Trust list
 - Fix the chat (close/reduce button, auto-scroll)
 - Change chat refresh time
 - Change 'report scammer' into 'report suspicious account'

Yay! Any news on WhiskChat support..? Tongue
Not on the top of the priority list
First I'll fix things in Chrome and fix the things that were broken during the server change
