UPDATE: Important Announcement

Full Disclosure: The decision has been partly revised, there is no 100% proof the accounts belong to the same person and their "story" actually sounds reasonable.

- Kvanko responded very reasonably via PM and made his point in a polite and professional manner - he is welcome to take part in the future tournaments.

- johnnyUA is banned from all future tournaments of this series.

Johnny didnt only show some bad manners but also started "personal attacks" (if you wanna say so) and even threats - people who have done what I did to him would get far worse in his country than just personal attacking and unpolite messages he says...

Fact is, johnnyuA is not banned for "cheating" but for acting like a person I do not want to have anything to do with. I am spending my fucking free-time for this and I do not allow anyone to personally attack and threaten me. His 800 chips have been returned to him.

(I absolutely understand a high frustration when being accused for something you may not have done!) but thats way too much.

I support this decision with all my heart because it makes us to fight for every place, not only for the paid ones or those in the top 10, where you can get some points. IMO, it makes the game even more exciting.

@BitcoinGirl.Club, congrats on winning the tournament! For someone who has started learning poker only 5 weeks ago, you are making impressive progress.

Looking at the current leaderboard, I think only SyGambler and shipdachips(yahoo62278) are guaranteed to qualify for the Championship game, and another 7 spots are more or less open for competition. So, those of us who haven't performed that great so far, myself included, still have a chance to play in the Championship game. Wink

Important Announcement

Two "player(s)" have been removed from the series due to multi-accounting. They have been notified about the decision a few minutes ago.

I hate to do that but there is no alternative - it is just not fair for everyone else involved and while we may not have 100% proof, it looks way too fishy.

Not going too much into detail, quick and dirty: One user has been accused of multi-accounting a while ago, "defended" himself that it was a friend´s acc etc. Okay, but adding to the situation that when player 1 in question yesterday was knocked out, player 2 joined the tournament a minute later.

You may now call me whatever you want and flame me for this decision - anyone who knows me should have realized by now though, that I am an honest and fair person and the last thing I am interested in is giving people a hard time here on bitcointalk.

That being said: Yahoo and me are investing lots of time and effort in this series and it really pisses me off having to deal with such bullshit in a friendly poker game series.

We have also come up with a rule on what happens if we have players tied for the last championship game spot. Thats what happens:

In case of a tie, all finishes of the respective players in all of the games will be added and the spot goes to the player with the best average finish.

I usually would not have, but it was a big pot and I kinda felt that you are trying to push me away. I was feeling really great at the table the whole day, most calls I made were good, the only hand before this one I lost was to Trofo where he got lucky on the turn.
I wanted to keep playing and didn't like the all-in at that point, we all make a bad call eventually but in this series I'm picking horrible times for mine.

Actually it was more or less giving me a lesson on how to play the cards with lowest possible stake.

I literally resurrected myself many times when i was as low as below 200 chips!! lol

Now I have gotten some defence skills so far. Hopefully the patience and tricks will make me gain some profits in the poker in long run.

Here is the new leaderboard. Now it takes 10 points to make the final game. As you can see, we have multiple players tied in points. I will discuss how we break that tie with efialtis and announce it here today/tomorrow.

I am thinking, if we have a tie for the last spot, the player with more total cashes in all the games gets the spot. Another way( which is probably better) is add up all the players finishes in all the games, the best average finish gets the spot. I will discuss it with efialtis and see how we want to proceed.

And finally I had it.

I was in good mood today and luck was favoring as well. At one point I thought I lost all because I was all in at the early stage of the games. But I did not know that I had A5432 LOL and then with Trofo some really strange hand twice! We both had same cards and both time I think I was all in.

I knew since I have started learning poker only 5 weeks ago that I am improving but yesterday and two rounds in the last week I did not get lucky and I also had some bad calls but today I think I got lucky. There were some bad calls though but since I was lucky I made it to the top.
