No way I would sit in a poker tournament for 10 hours. Unless we are doing 1K USD buy in or something like that. 2-3 hours on weekend is manageable. I also have a kid and a wife and it is difficult to manage it but as iv4n said I also try to make up for it before the tournament. Put in a bit more effort during the day and then enjoy a poker tournament in the evening.

That being said if we weren't under some kind of quarantine there is no way I would be able to take part in all this tournaments.

Tournaments without re-buys, add-ons last 2-3 hours, more or less depends on the game and starting chips, of course and blind that can be from 3 minutes up to 15. Games with re-buys, long late registration, add-ons can last 5+ hours. Tournament we play have just 55 minutes late registrations, without re-buys and add-ons. The ones we played with re-buys lasted 4+ hours, now we are around 3h!
I have a wife, and kid! Simply I play tournaments every weekend and that's my thing, I finish everything I need before that, so I can play tournament freely!
Right now kid is taking a daily nap, I have a free time to play a bit cash game, have fun on the computer. You can arrange your life as you wish, you just need to know how to find a way!

I hope you will get better figmentofmyass, I have a neighbor who got it as well but he came back after 5 days and just stays at home, some people do not really have it as bad as others and some even do not even realize they do not have it at all, lets hope you will be feeling like you have nothing very soon and even actually not have anything real soon as well. Nice for this tourney to happen so that people who are bored and lockdown at home can play but I never really imagined someone who actually has it could also feel good enough to play so that is at least some silver lining there and great for the brand as well.

And from what I understand by efialtis' post, it is surely looking like some of you are making this lockdown period something quite entertaining as well Cheesy

You can't be a poker player without confidence!

I am confident too, as many others I assume, it's what makes this tournament special, except confidence we have experience, and that is a good combination for winning tournaments, but winning is not possible without third ingredient, and that is luck of course!

Yeah, can't wait to play some poker! The last game was terrible for me but I learned some lessons. This time I hope to ~~reach TOP-5 at least~~ have some fun, despite of the end result.
