To be fair just edited the name and URL between the last pair of brackets to include the Discord server link and ANN thread.
Awesome design !

Code:

Also tested it on Coinbistro though some more modifications were necessary to make it fit nicely Tongue

I have a question.
Is it Okay for to modify part of the signature (the 10 years of bitcointalk part) to something of my linking like a link to the forum rules or something historic about bitcoin?
You are welcome, Jerome. It is ok from my side, you can use and modify it.

Honestly, the first version was designed by Heisenberg_Hunter then I modified it. This post of mine can be an evidence for you if someone judge you plagiarise the signature in the thread.

I saw Rizzrack modified the code to integrate the Discord party but I have never asked him for that version. Maybe I should ask him soon.

When you finish your works, please leave your signature code here, I am gonna update OP with it.  Cheesy

There are lies, damned lies and statistics. MTwain
<...>
The intent, is that Epochtalk is a forum software, whereby you (or anyone) can create and support their own forum, much like SMF is the software that supports Bitcointalk. Bitcointalk will/should/could therefore be an instance on Epochtalk (one of many potential ones).

It is still in development, but you can take a look at it either by downloading and installing the software to create your own forum, or by using one of the available community generated test forums, created on Epochtalk:

Coinbistro.com - Epochtalk testing grounds

epochtalk isn't as friendly as I thought. I have no idea what it is. I thought this is a discussion board but a forum software to install on a server.

Maybe replace the link with bitcoin's WP instead of a link to the forum. I am fine with the other forum links (Welcome to the new Bitcoin forum! and Satoshi Lesson).

I find it strange that a post which has a similar point to Jet Cash was deleted by the mod together with my reply that's also similar with the OP's response to JC. I don't think UserU's post was really off-topic.

Aren't we supporting the forum by already engaging with it? Since both visitors and members already represent the viewcounts and engagements through both topics and ads, bearing the site's sig and avatar doesn't seem to add much value. In addition, it can be supported (or promoted) via external channels such as other forums, social media and paid advertisements.

If I'm the forum owner, I'd rather effectively utilize the spaces for advertising external brands.
If you look closer at the signature, you can find external sites there
Code:
https://bitcoin.org/en/
https://coinbistro.com/boards
https://www.cryptos-currencies.com/boards
http://epochtalk.org/
https://github.com/epochtalk/epochtalk
I also appreciate OP's inclusion of some threads that were buried and will probably never be read by other forum users if they don't see it in the signatures. https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/satoshis-lesson-5092492

The idea of an avatar is to provide a unique image to make your account recognisable.

I don't understand the benefit to the forum or the member from having a link to BitcoinTalk in a signature. It just clutters up the thread, and provides no advantages in my opinion.
You can see the benefits or not, it depends on your perspective.

I integrated links to Epochtalk's Github as well as two trial forums with Epochtalk software, one from unknown person, and one from Coinbistro. There is also a link to Satoshi's lesson. So the signature is helpful or not, it depends on who see it and how they feel about it.

Satoshi's lesson, which is a very inspirational thread (written by theymos) I have ever seen in the past two years (in my perspective), and I believe not all users know about it.

Sir I have a little suggestion about these signatures if you add the "founder" or "satoshi" word in these signatures so that will be great I guess maybe you thought about this idea while creating these signatures I am not sure but anway you did brilliant work here.

I have seen one user who was banned due to banner plagiarism (at least I have known only one case, that one).
That user wasn't banned for wearing an avatar of another user ,  or plagiarism of a forum ad or signature.
He was banned for other reasons mentioned here:
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.52917874

Honestly, previously I have not known such things will be considered as plagiarism.
It's not that easy to check ownership of a published avatar. Check this statement from Theymos in another case: (it's a private message published by the receiver)
~snip~

I tried, if those are considered not the same, then I don't know what is considered the same.

In addition, I have also seen lots of users edited signature to make theirs without credits, sources. I don't know that without sources or credits to initial signatures, it will be actually considered as plagiarism by moderators or not. Anyway, to show respect to authors, I leave credits, and yes there is another reason, to be safe from any kind of bans, especially permanent bans.

It is my honor to know that I have at least one follower. It somehow gives me more motivation to keep making good posts and help others. Thanks for your inspiring and kindly words.

Firstly, I am sorry to forget to add credit link to your original signature but as you saw, I added link to Satoshi's lesson thread, in which you posted your signature. So, I meant, I did not have intention to shady steal your signature or something like that. For me, editing signature to make ones in OP take time and efforts, I have to correct them several times, and basically I don't have bad intention.

I hope that you will accept my apology, and have a nice weekend, fella.

No need of any apologies bud.  Smiley Actually, I meant to add the signatures for Jr.Members as well as Members and there was nothing personal other than that. I am really honored and its of great pleasure to see everyone using the signature which both you and me have designed and I would like to really thank you for the creation of these 10th anniversary signatures as well. I have been following you in the forum for quite a long time (6 months or so) and you were really helpful to other members and have been contributing more to the betterment of the forum. The signatures were initially created for everyone to use them and edit them as they wish and I don't need any credits as the edits were made completely by you and I was no way involved in that.

So, I meant, I did not have intention to shady steal your signature or something like that.
...snip...
 I don't have bad intention.

Secondly, I edited OP with credits for your initial signature.

Thirdly, I actually left credit for avatar above.
As I have said before, you have been really helpful for other forum members and I respect your opinions regarding that. Truly speaking, I don't need any credits and I was just helping the Jr. Members and Members by creating signatures for them.  Smiley

I don't have any smerits to give away, otherwise would have merited it for sure.

Being the original creator for the signature design initially way back last year, I would like to add signatures for Jr. Members and Members so that it could be useful for them to wear and provide a support for the 10th anniversary. Here are the signatures based on tranthidung's minor edits

Here is the original topic of mine : Signature Sets for some popular currencies Though there doesn't seem to be much interest from forum users for shitereum signature, feel free to add signatures for your favorite coins in the topic there.  Smiley

Another thing I noticed is that in your signature I saw some links like coinbistro, cryptos-currencies , epochtalk are these your own sites? Or, Does it belong to the bitcointalk? Actually I didn't know it so I wanted to know. Thanks

  • Coinbistro is the official implementation of epochtalk forum software for testing the forum for issues.
  • Epochtalk is the name of new forum software being developed which will certainly replace the current SMF software in near future.
  • Cryptos-currencies is the unofficial implementation for testing the software by a forum user

P.S A little OT but would like to talk about my inactivity that recently last week I have been appointed as the lead Co-ordinator and Reviewer for a particular native language for Bitcoin.org by Will Binns (Lead Dev and Maintainer of bitcoin.org). So I won't be finding much time to contribute/post in the forum for atleast 3-4 weeks until I finish my translation completely and host them to live in bitcoin.org. Anyways I would like to thank users who wear wearing the signature for supporting bitcoin over the past few months.

I would be very happy to support this idea and wear these signature, avatar or both of them when I will be not enrolled in any signature campaign at that time.

You have made a great job with this design Tranthidung and I just can't believe this was your first attempt, imagine what you will be able to do if you practice a little?

The idea with changing color was also correct and now it looks just perfect. Still, I would like to see a couple of variations, especially with different shades of orange.
